Hi!

The demo link is on the asset page https://saeiongames.itch.io/shsx-cs-ue5, you should be able to download it straight from there with no issues :)

Hi Everyone!

I have created this pack in making a highly modular and adaptive Camera System, featuring multiple techniques used in Classic Survival Horror games Such as Resident Evil, Dino Crisis and Silent Hill.

Made for people wanting to replicate the gameplay style whilst still having a lot of control and flexibility on what the cameras can achieve.

Hope you can use it to create some amazing new survival horror experiences :D

A Free Demo to showcase the pack is available for download!

Cheers for capturing the bug! Its resolved now :)

Thank you once again!

Hi there! Thanks for the bug report!

Does this happen at the start, middle or end of the stairs?

Will look into and release an update :)

Today is the 20th Year Anniversary of one my all time fave horror games; A flash point and click game EXMORTIS

For this occasion, I recreated the original in PSX style, for a what if scenario on if the game was released today!

Check it out!

Niiice! You captured the vibe well!

As it felt new but still oddly familiar

A nice reference ^^

This is a nice short experience, I enjoyed it ! Well done! :)

Mate, amazing entry! Super well polished and feels just right. Loved the PSX Style aesthetics and level design was great too!

I also really enjoyed the little homages to Silent Hill and Resident Evil with the soundtrack choices and placements! And I especially loved the little bobbing effect the camera was doing to create a sensation that someone on the other side was watching over you!

5/5 Well done!

Wow, this is a solid entry! I enjoyed the gameplay and you deffo nailed the Art Style and Sound Design!

A Nice 5/5 on my books!

This is an amazing horror experience and I really appreciated the retro vibe!

Amazing sound design as well!

Curious however.... was the house/roomlayout inspired by Silent Hill 4: The room? As t deffo reminded me of that room 302!

Nice Puzzle mechanics, a very intriguing entry! Well done! ^^

An incredibly cute and well animated game! well done! ^^

Wow...thats one chonky boy even I won't be able to keep up with his eating schedule

A well made entry! Well done and nice interpretation of the theme ^^

I've been waiting to find a game that implemented cheese xD

Art style is amazing and game play is nice and simple!

Something to note however; the soundtrack does take a while to actually start!

I enjoyed this game! Runs well and feels to have a nice level of polish as well! Well done!

I have no idea what is more scarier, the beast, the eerie environment or the multitude of stuff that guy has in his trailers xD

Well done! A well polished game! I really enjoyed this one!

I really enjoyed the feel and vibe of this game. Sound design was top notch and mechanics worked really well! My only gripe was that I was feeling too lost with no real sense of direction on which way I should go apart from "up".

Nice job!

OH! I can't remember where exactly but at some point I fell into a pit with 3 robot jumping enemies with the ledge being too high to jump out of but no grappling hook marks to use to escape either; essentially causing me to restart entirely.

Good mechanics and sound design! I did find a bug that when I fell to my death near the beginning, it was an endless fall and no do over, had to restart manually to continue

Overall the game is nice and sound, but I felt the character clunky due to sort of "input lag" on the movement

Ah ok! In that case, yes adding in a lava/chaser system would help, or  Adding in a checkpoint-timer system, like the arcade racing games; where you would still be risking for going big ^^

Took some time to get used to but I enjoyed this one, requires alot of fast thinking. Well done!

Art Style and sound design vibed really well! I did wish that the building types actually had an affect/impact on gameplay, as despite the vast selection, sticking to the same box pm is the ideal to finish the game and ended being more dull due to that unfortunately.

All in all I liked it and well done ^^

Aesthetically this game is on point! Movement wise I felt it too slow for my liking. The puzzle system was intuitive as well!

A job well done :D

This is a nice highscore chaser! Really well done with this one!

I actually think it would have worked wonders if speed relates to how big you get, instead of slowing down the bigger you get until you get translucent.

Well done!

Art style and sound design is top notch!

I did find the controls tedious for such a fast game, I think just keeping with the wasd to move accordingly would have sufficed.

All in all , well done with this! ^^

The game mechanics and combat all felt great! My only gripe was that the collision box of the jumping enemy was too large or too active. Most of my hits from him felt underserved.

other than that, well done with this one!

This game made me realize that I actually indeed have good blueprint etiquette, that I have a cathartic reaction working in blueprints (I was actually relaxing playing this xD) and that I really wished there were reroute nodes or a way to straighten out the lines automatically with another node because of my ocd with making everything neat and tidy xD

ALMOST perfectly encapsulated working with blueprints.... only thing it lacked from being real is code not working FOR SOME reason xDD

Highly well done!

I was expecting a Banana game with this theme, and this did not disappoint! Apart from that mentioned bug, all else is highly polished and fun! Well done!

A Nice score of 5 Bananas

This is a unique idea! Really well done! However I didnt quite like the control for the rotation, it wasnt responding well to the actual directions I wanted it to go and it was turning too fast! Something to work on as I think this is going to be an enjoyable game to play! ^^

Also, well done on the title! Legit made me look up if there were any prequels to try out xD

Honestly, Mechanics wise, it felt great! The only thing I would suggest is actually adding a Speed boost and the attack being separate and not related to speed; As sometimes I really think I should have made the kill, just for the speed to just slow down abruptly and end up awkwardly jumping on it.

Apart from that.... I kept moving forward, until all my enemies have been destroyed!

I legit enjoyed this way more than I anticipated! You honestly did feel like an unstoppable force. Enemies shooting but STILL push through the straight direction felt AMAZING honestly xD

Well done! a Solid 5/5 from my end

Its a decent foundation to build from! Mechanically it worked sound, But definitely needs more polish in terms of sound design to add more impact and engagement for the player and make the game more entertaining. I would also focus on play testing more in terms of damage balance as the enemies felt too bullet spongey for my liking to be honest.

All in all, well down and keep building it up! :D

Its a nice action shooter game! Movement does feel clunky however, while it aids in being a robot type, I would go for a smoother feel for better "juice"

Graphically its very nice and have a coherent art style. I did not see the theme implement however.

Well done!

Feels and gives the same vibes as the real thing! Would Spend my quarters again!

Thanks for the compliment :3

Thank you! ^^

Glad you enjoyed it :D

Cheers mate! 😁

Unreal Engine games are large by default 😂But to be fair; I went very easy with compression as this is actually my smallest game yet in terms of Disk Size :O

I'll take note that I'll always go full throttle with Compression on Jam Submissions, cheers ^^
