Pretty cool game, though the choice of keys are not the best not going to lie... I feel like you could've just used the mouse and rotate the lizard while capping the rotation speed just so the procedural animation doesn't break and using space or left mouse would've been alright I think. How also the lizards bite each other is a bit tricky when other bigger lizards are around because they kind of gang up on you, they should also attack the other lizards (not always but at least a bit). The game is alright but it could also use some environmental stuff, like some rocks, trees and so on with some funny gimmicks because it's a bit empty. Great game still.

Sorry for not giving more detailed feedback earlier. Here’s what I think: The movement in the game feels a bit clunky, and it would be cool to have some attack variety, like a spin attack with the ball. Stuff like that can make the gameplay more interesting and usually doesn’t take too much time to add (well, usually... but game jams are tight on time, haha). For the enemies, they’re a bit too similar, except for the bats and the vampire. Adding more variety in their behaviors or designs could help. Also, a bit more variety in the terrain might keep things more engaging. Overall, there’s a lot of repetition that makes the game feel a bit monotonous. But it’s not that bad though, just a few tweaks could make the game more exciting!
Enjoyable game, though not too creative. I would usually give this a two for creativity since it is the first idea that comes to mind when doing games with a theme like this, but the fact that I had this ahah moment with scaling the ball was very nice so I am putting 3. Also the style is... well... just circles and rectangles so I can't really say that much about it. Though it does the job for it's purpose and that's why I am giving it a 4 in terms of enjoyment though
The idea is very nice, I like how the game is introduced to us with the dialogue, the dialogue system is well made and enjoyable, got me up to date for what was up and was going to happen in the game. The music and sounds even though they were not made by you was very pleasant, though sometimes the volume increases too much, try keep it regular. The game is good, it took a minute to understand how everything worked and was easy to play. Amazing job ! A worthy Jam !
Cool game, though there are some bugs that I encountered like when you spam a bit too much the cloning the text become gigantic haha. In spite of there not being any music and sound the game still makes it up with these interesting weird puzzles (or orders, like who even orders this ? haha). This is pretty good overall, great job !
Love this take on a sort of bullet hell. It's pretty fun. Although there are some things that are annoying like when notes come from below it's hard to react to it and just gets you instantly a wrong note. Also the tutorial would be nice to have something less frustrating to scroll through when trying to figure out the controls, because it kept going when I didn't finish to read it, but I believe that this is because of the lack of time and why you added a back button. On the other hand, love the music and the art, it's quite impressive making that kind of stuff in 48 hours. Amazing Job overall !
Pretty cool concept. The game comes together nicely. Although maybe the physics are a little bit buggy sometimes but it's not a too big deal and also it's sometimes not evident if you should place certain objects on the level when it's not 100% necessary, but overall I had fun playing it. Good Job !
The idea of the game is good, but the execution could be better. The music is pretty nice, the art is ok, but the mechanics and physics are buggy, it would need a bit more polish to see this game become something more enjoyable. Overall the game was quite fun, but the buggy nature of the game was a bit frustrating. Anyways good job on the game !
The game is quite fun. But what the chef doing fr haha. On a serious note the overall is good, the art, the music and the goal it's trying to acheive, but the physics are like (WHAT THE HELLLL), no but they are really funny although It made me glitch through the map lol. Had to restart the thing to complete the game. Overall fun game though, definitely a solid Jam !
Stunning game ! The fact that the art and the music was created by you is already amazing, especially the music. Also the game is very intuitive and introduces new ideas slowly making the learning curve very easy. The concept of the game is one that I saw multiple times, nevertheless I think you did a better job than most others I played, which were more frustrating, this was honestly pretty chill and very fun to play. Clearly underrated.
Amazing game. The art, the audio, the mechanics and everything is very well made and polished with 21 LEVELS!!! It's insane you managed to do so much in a Jam. The game is literally as perfect as it gets, only critisism is that the character slides a bit too much but other than that the game was super fun to play. Phenomenal Job ! (and nice pun haha)
Very interesting game. I usually don't play card games like this but the narration was very good that it kept me hooked. The beginning was a bit confusing with the mechanics until I figured out how card cost worked. The boss battles are pretty cool but also a challenging. Though the art and the music is really good, like I was pretty blown away by the amount of polish. Very solid game !
First 3D game I played in this jam. It's very good, although I find the controls a bit junky and hard to control, would've been nice and more fun to have a sort of rampant, fast paced dangreous zombie as a character. Nevertheless the game is very well made, the graphics, especially the sounds and the overall idea of the game. Good Job !
Good game, although I have some criticism. First of all the game is pretty fun, I like the idea of the sheep going around and killing the other sheep, but It gets repetitive after the first game you do, the goal is way too easy to acheive and there isn't enough threats. Would've loved to see more enemies that could be more of a threat to you or something and harder goals. Also the terrain is a bit repetitive but I didn't mind it too much. The overall game is very nice though don't get me wrong, but it kind of gets played one time before there isn't much more to explore.
Very clever game, the text is really good at hinting what we have to use in order to pass the level but is also very fun to read, it feels a lot more interactive. The puzzles were pretty easy but not too hard to solve and it's honestly really well balanced. The music and sound effect are pretty cool, so is the art-style. Can't say much about the game, it's quite hard to give any critisism. Solid !
Amazing game ! I usually would be inclined to rate you less for creativity because it's a really common idea, but the way you executed makes up for it totally! I find the fact that there are bugs and stuff really interesting that adds way more difficulty and fun than other similar games where it's only the snake following you. The game also has an ingame tutorial which I find quite helpful, introducing ideas as you progress and makes the game very easily comprehensible. Although the game is a bit hard not gonna lie, couldn't make it past level 11 with 3625 although the snake caught me a bit off guard haha. Anyways great game, for a common idea, the execution was insanely good which makes it stand out quite a lot.
Thanks for the reply. We were aware that introducing the player to find the glitch was going to be a challenge, we wanted to make more levels that would introduce mechanics in a better fashion such that the player could have a better idea what the glitch could be, unfortunately we didn't have the time to do it at all. We would've also liked to give better cues and stuff like that for the player to guide himself through the game without directly telling him what he has to do, most of the time we were thinking about how "can we force the player indirectly to try this glitch". Also the skip and timer could've been added, but as I said before we were really short on time so it was impossible to do so, although I can understand the frustration of not being able to pass / skip a level you stay way too long in. Anyways thanks a lot for the feedback.
For the crate we might have forgotten to reset it's position when dying or resetting the level haha. The crates seem to also be a common frustration between players, but the gist of it is to try and clip yourself through walls by either throwing or dropping the crate against yourself or in the opposite direction in some manner. A little tutorial or help could've been nice from us but we didn't have time to implement anything of this sort. Anyways thanks for the feedback it means a lot.
