Hello, can you please give me more details which part of the saving process is not working? If you could join our discord that had be great there I can help you better :)
I can confirm the load menu has no exit button. You can close it by hitting 'Escape' as with every other menu in the game though. In the new update the load menu will have a close button as well to avoid confusion, thanks for reporting this!
Sure there is! Press 'Escape' while being in the game and click on "SAVE AND LOAD". In this menu you can name your saves as well as load previous saves. As long as your on the newest version there also should be an autosave.
When restarting the game you need to click on "Start Game" and after that you will land in a new empty world. Press "Escape" and click on "SAVE AND LOAD". Now you will be able to load your old save by double clicking the save name. Hope it helps :)
In the new update I will add the option to load a save directly from the main menu. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you have any further problems or feedback don't hesitate to contact me here or on our Discord: https://discord.gg/nY3f7BT
Really cute and nice looking graphics! Nice audio, good controls and I like the "walk slow" feature. Challenging but still somehow did it first try with a good portion of luck haha. I think it's only the second 3D game I have seen here so far so respect for doing that in time alone. Also I enjoyed playing and it is fun. Good job :)
Glad that you liked it :) Thank you for your suggestion and absolutely I have to agree with you there should be a SFX for this. Can be a bit frustrating I guess. The menu is definitely helpful. The ability to adjust the audio volume is something I sadly have missed in many other entries. Thank you :)
Good graphics, good audio and a really really creative concept. Very unique and a cool way to interpret a bullet hell. I had some trouble understanding what is going on but after I understood the mechanic I had a lot of fun and even a little bit disappointed when I beat it. Only thing that was frustrating were the hitbox. Often I walked against an object even though my "feet" should not collide or I could not walk on a bridge despite me being clearly lined up with it. I had a lot of fun playing, good game :)
Cute art, good controls and had fun playing even thought the pace could have picked up a little bit faster in my opinion. The audio was way too loud and unfortunately I couldn't find any way to decrease the volume. The cluster bomb like others already mentioned sadly had a too high cooldown and maybe the 10 seconds should have been used at a different spot. Overall good game :)
A game where you just dodge and don't fight back , interesting concept. The patterns are clear and with a bit of training it can be done. Challenging but also entertaining. Perhaps less levels but instead new mechanic(solve some puzzle, collect a key..) would have been better though. Dashing is a bit too strong. I could spam spacebar in most levels and just get through by luck. Overall good game :)
Damn I really like the idea of the loadout switch! At first I thought you always get the loadout from the last defeated enemy, but apparently it was just a coincidence that this happened to me multiple times? I'm pretty sure you made this game with the QWERTY keyboard layout in mind, but I do not know if you are aware but in many countries QWERTZ is being used meaning that the two buttons X and Z are very far apart from each other and it is not that pleasant to play this game with two fingers so far apart from each other ^^. I liked the art style. It's a bit sad you didn't have time for audio, but still very solid game and I had fun playing it :)
Was not expecting to see a 3D game here. The visuals are good and I like the glowing projectiles. The being hit effect from the bigger projectiles was also really cool. Audio was good, but there could have been a bit more going on. I did not hear any music. It could have been a bit more fast paced as I was just running away and shooting behind me as the enemies are slow but very tanky. Still had fun playing, good game :)
Really unique idea to create a Bullet Hell and mix it with tower defense and it's looking good too. UI is small but I could ready everything. Sadly, the game pace was a bit too slow for me and especially in the beginning it was a game of patience till things eventually started becoming more intense.
Interesting mechanic and definitely an even more interesting spot to shoot bullets from. The text/color choices could have been a bit better as they are a bit hard to read. The enemies are often very far away and it's possible to just keep dashing away from them turning it into a alone in space game. Difficulty could have been higher as with the dashing away strategy I never really had any threats to face.
Overall good concept and I played for a bit, but would have needed some more fine tuning/testing perhaps.
Really nice idea to have new levels all 10 seconds. At first I was expecting that for each level before the boss you gather "strength" for the actual boss fight and not only for the next level so I was a bit confused. The boss fight itself was really amazing. It felt super rewarding with the "No hits taken" mechanic that the player gets a buff as a reward for not being hit by the boss. The levels in the boss fight itself were a really smart idea as the player can regain health and increase the odds of defeating the boss. Sadly even after several tries I did not manage to get past the first boss so maybe a checkpoint at half the health of the boss for noobs like me would have been nice ^^.
Graphics are minimalistic but also very clean so I liked the looks. Audio was fitting even though maybe the music was a bit silent. The SFX fit perfectly. Had fun playing, good job!
Glad that you liked it! The nuke definitely helps with "cleaning up" :D
You are right an audio cue probably wouldn't be bad for the nuke charging. You can always stop charging and move instead and start charging again later. As long as you don't let too much time pass you won't loose the nuke charge. Bullet damage should be same for all projectiles, but the later enemies especially the "proximity" ones have very tight fire pattern almost like a shotgun so you might have gotten hit multiple times or perhaps lost health earlier already.
Awesome to hear, thank you for your long feedback :)
Hey, I have been using Unity for over 9 years and I have worked as a Software Developer. I'm looking to join the Bullet Hell Jam and I'm looking for someone who can do the art assets or help with other aspects of creating a game. If your interested just write under this topic or message me on Discord: PowerOfCreation#0276 :)
Thank you very much for the kind words and glad that you enjoyed playing Avani! As much as we would love to add multi language support we sadly have to admit that we just don't have the resources for that unless we put back other features we are working on at the moment. We have so many ideas that we want to add and multi language support is definitely one of those but this will probably not happen any time soon due to other features being our priority.
