Such a bittersweet and heartbreaking story ;-;
I loved the art, and the story was very relatable as someone who had a similar 'outing' experience.
Hope things are going well for you
The ambiance of it all, it's such a sad yet beautiful love story. I remember seeing you work on animations so close to the deadline in DevTalk and was worried about how you'd pull it off but you did it! And it's so jaw droppingly beautiful. I'm in love with the limited color palette as well, it fits the story so much.
This was SO COOL! For how long the spooktober was, it's super impressive to create a 3D game in light.vn while also having animated sprites, a kickass aesthetic, and a super cool story. I did get very very motion sick while playing, so I'm kinda glad it was short(I couldn't have finished it otherwise lol) but it's SO impressive that you did this all on your own. Excellent work!
This was so fun! I love all the way all the characters are written(pretty normal for an ebi-hime vn though :p) and the way that the GUI felt like a real chatroom experience. I didn't get all the endings(went straight for the fic writer girl lmao) but the ones that I did get were really well done! I feel like this game has so much replayability and charm!
What a cute game! The art was such eye candy that it kinda stole the show for me, but the voice acting was really good too!
The way it was more cg based instead of sprite based also really made it feel like a tv show, and the character designs were super whimsical!
I'd say if there was one critic I could give it's that the story moved a little quick. There's a lot of good world building here, and I'd love to see it explored further!
Nice game, can't wait to see what you put out in the future!
Commenting on here as well to say that this is peak. Genuinely while playing this I was shocked that I didn't spend money, the amount of content was insane!
All of the character designs were super well executed, every single one registered as their animal inspiration(big kudos for rooster, goat, and snakes designs in particular) and I loved all of the snappy dialogue in between the characters.I remember seeing your progress pics on twitter and wondering how you were gonna juggle 13 characters but you did it! And really well at that!
All of the UI designs were super crisp as well, and I'm definitely taking notes on the way that you scripted and placed characters along the screen.
Overall excellent work, the whole team should be proud of how polished of a game they released.
This is maybe the most polished game I've played so far!
The UI was so crisp, the voice acting and music were super well balanced, and all of the art was fantastic. The investigation part and case part was super nostalgic for me, and I think you nailed the screen direction for the discussion scene. Great job!
(btw loved the slight Tiger x Dragon)
