Your game is very simple but very polished. The graphics and audio are great. There is just a minor issue, I can drag the slider above. It doesn't change anything, but just one small thing you can fix. Overall, pretty good game.

If you have time, take a look at my game, thank you

A bad level is removed in the newest version

Your game is pretty interesting. There is a lot of potienal in this machanism. The graphics and audio need improvement but I totally understand why it is this way.  There is few things that could be better though. First the color scale, I wish the scale could be large so not located in the middle of the screen. I also would be better if I can control the color with the keyboard. Also, somethings two objects seems to be the same color but I can't pass through them. Overall, it is a pretty good game.

If you have time, please try out my game, thank you

First of all, I like how the game is made with Godot. The concept of the game is very creative. I did get want I am going to do at first, but once I understood it is really fun. The level design is also really good, the learning curve is just right, and there are many pretty challenging levels after getting to two digits.

If you have time, please take a look at my game. It is also a puzzle game made with godot.

You are has a really pleasant atmosphere. The art style feels very comfortable and fits will the the gameplay. Although the gameplay is not super fancy, it give me a good experience.

I also made a puzzle game, please take a look if interested

After I extracted the files from the zip, I got these files. I double clicked the .py file, then the file just opens in vscode. I have python installed on my computer, and if I tried it run it, a window shows up for less than a second and it disappeared.

Just out of curiosity, how many level did you finish

We actually have similar interpretations of the theme. I hope you can improve the graphic a little bit.

Take a look a my game if you are interested

Your game has an interesting art style. However, it needs to guide the player better, because at first I have no ideo what I am doing

I was trying to test your game but happenned after I run the .py file. Perhaps something is wrong. Please tell me when it is fixed because it seems kind of interesting. If you are interested, please try my game.

It is a cool game with interesting machanisms. Depite some bugs, this game is still quite interesting and creative.

If you are interested, please take a look a my game that explores the idea of changing the scale of the background.

At first, I thought this game is a rip off of other games that play around with colors like Hue. However, after I played it, I found out it is very different. There are so much possiblities in this game waiting to be discovered. The machanism is very creative and interesting, and more importantly, the level designs are delicate and elegant. This is my favorite game in this game jam. Well done!

If you are interested, please take a look at my puzzle game that explores the idea of changing the scale of a map.

Truely amazing

I really like the theme interpretation and innovation in this game. Adding the scaling machanism to a traditional platformer give this game a lot of possibilites.  I wish there are better level designs and variations of this ability to fully explore these possibilities.

Another thing, because this is a platformer game that relys on some degree of percise control, I think it would be better to make the player less slippery. These are many times that I slide off the platform or slide into the spike so that I have to restart the level.

If you are interested, please check out my game.

A great interpretation of the theme. I like the story telling method this game. Although it is not very polished right now, but I see great potienal in it. More story and more gameplay machanism could be add. I don't know if you know Paper Please by Lucas Popes, I think you can learn at lot from this game.

If you are interested, please take some time and play my game, thank you.

This game is really hard. I guess you might play some sort of percussion instrument. Although I also play an instrument myself, but playing quater notes on one hand and triplet on the other is almost impossible for me.  This is the game with the best theme interpretation and innovation I have seen so far. Interpretating SCALE in this way is very creative.

Very strong in gameplay. Although innovation and theme interpretation is relatively weak, it is still an interesting game.

It feels a lot like celeste, but the control and level design is not nearly as good. For example the jump, I think you coded it so that if you hold it for less than 0.5s for example, a impluse force would be added to it, if the jump button is held for more than 0.5s, you would keep adding a force to it until it have been held for like 1s. This method itself is good, but you need to adjust the numbers a bit. Now if I hold jump for more than 0.5s second, it will accerlate significantly which feels like a double jump. Another thing that could make your jump feels better is increasing the player's gravity scale when it is falling.

The graphics is certain the highlight of the game. The idea of having two characters at different scales is interesting, but I don't think it is affecting the gameplay of the game significantly.

The movement of characters is rigid, it should to be more polished considering the duration of this jam. At the beginning of the game, the player is still trying to get used to the controls, the we should fell off quite often.

The levels are getting more interesting as I get into later levels as more machansims are introduced.  The earlier level are honestly kind of boring, especially considering they are pretty large.  I think you should avoid long levels at the beginning due to the control problems I mentioned above. Players often fell off the platform and have to restart the long level. If this happens many times, players will get fraustrated and quit the game, which is sad because they will miss the more interesting content later.

I have having similar problems when it comes to level design with my game. At first I always want to make large levels. However, I realized that these levels are often repeative and boring. I think for puzzle games, smaller and delicate level usually better. If you are interested in my game, please go check it out.

The gameplay is solid, the graphics and audio fits well. However, it lack gameplay innovation and a strong connection with the theme.

太抽象了

Pretty interesting setting you chose for your game. would be better if you added some audio.

A pretty good horror game. There is a lot of suspense and it made me pretty nervous during the game. I really like there is voice acting for this game. Great Job!

If you have time, please checkout my game, thank you.

The graphic is good, the pixel art is pretty expressive. The idea of the game is pretty good, it is kind of like Barotrauma. However, it could have been excuted better, you are basic just running around clicking things in the submarine. Instead of just clicking, maybe you can add some puzzle to the fixing part. I think it will make your game a lot more entertaining.

Also, if you have time, please checkout my game, thank you.

This game is a lot more fun than I expected. However, I think it gets hard too quickly. The first level is easy, and the beginning of the second level is okay, but the part where both sides are walls, you will die even if you just made a tiny mistake. I don't know if it is done on purpose to fit the game's story. The story is my favorite part of the game, I wander what happened after.

Also, if you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

I think the idea of talking to your family between the missions is really good. It builds up the character and motive me to keep playing. The gameplay part is decent, but there is still space for improvement, it is really just pressing a few buttons and avoid the mine. I guess you focus in on the story and not the game play.

Also, if you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

The gameplay is a bit simple, also it is a bit easy at first but it soon gets challenging. My best record in 14000. I realy like the graphic of this game. The art is very cute and the animation is neat. Good job!

Also, if you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

(1 edit)

A very delicated game. Combined the characteristic of Metroidvania games and roguelike games. You have obtain different kind of abilities to unlock different paths. At first you will be un familiar with the path but as you play it many times, you will have time to finish the game. The two long jump and crouch into a tunnel part is probably the hardest part, took me a while to figure it well. I think it would be better if there is a stronger connection with the theme. A well designed game overall. Great job!

The first typing game I see in this jam. It is a lot more fun than I expected. The game starts getting pretty hard as I get deeper, the deepest I got was 53. The rock and the pickaxe created an interesting gameplay loop. When you are running out of time you use pickaxe to clear out a path, to gather pickaxe, you have to take a further path. Then your time starts running out again. This is very interesting. Good Job.

If you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

Although the gameplay of this game is pretty standard, but the atmosphere is  good. The environment and the music is the best part of this game.

If you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

Thank you for playing. When you are slowing down a lot, you probably need to unlock the rocket and upgrade it. It should provide enough speed. I will try to fix the bugs you mentioned. Perhaps it is because you have every layer as a heat or pressure layer. The health is caclated by the following:

if(temperature > resistance) health -= (temperature - resistance) / resistance * Time.fixedDeltaTime

So if you resistance is 0, health will be subtracted by infinity, which is why you die at 0 km.

Thanks again for playing

A small but a delicated game. The core gameplay is simple, but the level are designed very carefully. The are easy when all three throws are use, but there is always a path that you can take that just take 1 throw. Finding the best solution for the level is a lot of fun.  The art fits well with the game. The sound effects are carefully chosen and made the game experience very satisfying.

At the beginning of the game, sometimes I press space and nothing happened. Did you put the input detection in FixedUpdate?

If you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

The idea of the dolphin is great. Although the assets for the environment are prabably public assets(seen it from many other people), but you definitely put effort into designing the map. For example the part that you have to upgrade to a certain speed to cross the barrier.

If you have time, please take a look at my game, thank you.

You can read the the description below the game to get an idea. Sorry for not including a detailed turtorial. You basicly upgrade your ship, then dive into the planet, there is not much to do during the dive. After the dive you will be rewarded with a certain amount of money, which you can use to upgrade your ship and dive again.

You're welcome, I am sure we will all do better next time.

I love the art style of your game. I could see that you still have a lot of ideas that you haven't implentmented.  I am looking forward to seeing it fully complete.

If you have time, please check out my game, thank you

A very simple game. The QR code idea is kind of cool. I also like the ending.

Also, if you have time, please take a look at my game, thanks

It is the best puzzle game I have played in this jam so far. Instead of diving deeper, you choose to dig deeper. The idea of combining a classic game in this case minesweeper, which another game is not very new, but it is well done in this case. I did not get how the house and quary works in the first a couple of level, but I got it figured out, and I finished the game. I like this sketch like art-style, the music and the sound effect is not amazing but it fits well. This is one small issue that I found, sometimes I can not place building at the left of the first row. In general it is well designed and very polished. Great Job

Also, if you have time, please take a lot at my game, thank you.
