I didn't read thru aaaal of this thread but basically we are talking about there being any happy endings or not. I've only just reacently bought this game and I DID assume that there was a way to a "happy ending". Now that I know theres not,. well.. I'll play the final (most unattractive) route Randal but then I guess I'm done with this game. I do truly appreciate the complexity of characters they wrote for this game but but this genre of games. Even the prequel Red Embrace you really could have happy endings. So great writing, not really working for me (with only miserable endings)

To be honest. It's kinda nice to know more of the backstory but just watching a narrative going towards an already known disaster is... well why? Why would anyone pay for this? Backstories are great sure but this is just a story of how things went to hell, no choices, just a straight railroad to hell

Just thought to mention that when buying from this page value added tax is added to the sum based on were you live. So for Finland that means 24 % making 6 $ into 7.44 €. Tiny sums yes but I find this quite strange (it's not a usual practice with games) and luckily the game is available on Steam for 5 euros (about 5.5 $) and that price includes everything, no added costs or taxes when making the purchase.  This is NOT critique for Nifty, just surprised me and thought to inform others as well :) Looking forward to playing this! I absolutely loved Royal Alchemist, Royal Order was also good but made too easy in my (seemingly rare) opinion :D
