Absolutely! I'd love to keep playing this game and trying to beat my highscore, haha. Especially since I feel like the scoring system is really well done.

I found this game to be strangely relaxing. Something about the sound of the waves and the little bell and the simple animations made me very calmed. I don't know. It's so simple, and yet I really did enjoy this game. Like, I can't even really fully explain why. It's just fun, and cute, and simple. Easy to pick up. 221 is my current high score but I'll keep working at it.
I really liked a lot of different parts of this game.
The first thing that struck me was the music. It's very soothing and nice to listen to. I just kinda wanna sway my head to it, y'know? The sound effects as well are very nice to hear. Overall I'd describe the audio experience as... satisfying? I don't know, it scratches a certain kind of itch.
Then, like, the art. The limited color palette and the pixelated style is very nostalgic. Though, I never had a game boy, or anything like that. I'm too young. It's still there, though. It feels familiar, like a place I've lived for a long time.
The concept, too, is really interesting and fun. I'd love to see more expansions on this idea in the future. The way you decided to do it as an elevator rife with a stranger is so interesting to me. I think if this were part of a full game, like a small cutscene or something, it would be absolutely amazing at character building or just setting a tone. Don't get me wrong, it's great as a standalone, but I cannot tell you how many different ideas this game gave my brain. It's such a beautiful thing when someone's art can inspire others. So, thank you for that.
And congrats on your first Game Jam! Here's to many more to come.
This one was a lot of fun, even though it's not the type of game I usually play! The art is absolutely gorgeous, and I can tell how much effort you put in with that. I'll be honest I was definitely not good at the game, as I said it's not the kind I'm used to playing, but it was enjoyable nonetheless! The music was also a very nice touch, and the sound design in general was very satisfying.
