Many of the issues are resolved by updating your graphics driver (AMD or Nvidia drivers) and restarting your PC. There are known issues with AMD drivers that affect all Unity games if you don't update them.
- Update your graphics card driver
- Uninstall Meor
- Restart your PC
- Install Meor

Black lighting
Solution: update graphics driver, uninstall Meor, restart PC, install Meor.
In-game error "System.ObjectDisposedException: Safe handle has been closed"
Update Meor. If this doesn't work: please report this to me.
Can't create universe
Update Meor. If this doesn't work: uninstall Meor, restart your PC, install Meor.
Disappearing/invisible textures or terrain
Unfortunately your graphics card is too old for Meor. This happens on cards released before GTX 650.
