Hard to say exactly because it was spread out over a few months. It was about 6 months from the start date to the final upload on Itch, but I was probably only working on it for an hour or two each week. Also I came back to it and added Caffeinated Mode (the time limited mode) a couple of months after I first uploaded it. Full-time it probably would have taken a week. Pico-8 is a very fast development environment, particularly with Aseprite and the VSCode Lua & Pico-8 plugins.

You can also use the C and V keys for shoot and rockets. This should be easier if you're on an Azerty keyboard.

It will run in the browser on Android devices. Just open this web page. I can't make a native Android build though unfortunately.

This is fantastic. The music and backgrounds are great, and I really like the easier controls. Holding jump to glide is just so much smoother.

I have one suggestion - releasing and pressing jump again during a jump should end the jump immediately (stop the upward movement) and start gliding. This is very useful for catching rows of bombs halfway up the screen. You already have Down working to end a jump, if you could just add X as an additional input to end the jump then this would make it play more like the arcade original controls.

Great game, really satisfying movement and sounds.
