Wow! I say wow! This one is very fun, although I easily stomped through the attackers with my mighty archer towers. Great work! This looks like the basis of a full-scoped game.

5 out of 5 for the Best use of the Avatar! Haha, so funny. The image assets are well-picked, too.

Awesome visuals! But alas, I could not for the life of me blow away any of the drones, even after multiple attempts. The game starts quite difficult as well, because I often fell down if I focused too much on running and shooting at the drones.

P.S.: played in HTML5.

Beautifully, beautifully painted! And quite an original game too! I loved the stories about the mythical cats.

The hints were very welcome, otherwise I would have needed a long time to evolve all nine cats.

Hahaha, nice to know you had a blast, Monch Monch. Congrats on winning the game! Thank you for playing and for your nice comment!

Yeah, made it to the exit! At first I was afraid the block would be stuck against the wall. But thankfully I was able to push it sideways too.

The sound, music and ambiance are very fitting for this type of game. I love how you made the AI of the zombies. Really really good work!

Very fun little game! The visuals and audio were great! I was impressed by the cutscene at the end.

Thank you very much, Mrs. Sasquatch!

The art style and the crunchy sounds are very very nice!

The title and intro were really awesome, man! Kinda original twist on the theme, too.

The “get resource to evolve to get resources quicker to evolve quicker” game loop is really fun. This could be the basis of an awesome game, like Jorava said.

This is such a cool and philosphical/psychological concept. The overall main ‘hall’ felt quite despairing and dreary, which is probably the atmosphere you aimed for. Which is a good thing.

Those tiny little things, like the emotional state of the main character being shown in body language, make it complete.

But alas, after I transmuted into Hope, I got stuck when the cube of doubt disappeared, making me stuck in emotional limbo for a long long time…

Hi RicoTV, thank you for playing and commenting!

Oof, it went a bit crazy on level 8? Can you please tell me more? I hope to learn from this experience.

Cleverly done how you made the “Double” mechanic.

It may be wise to put the controls description on the game page.

I loved the main game metal/rock tune!

Thank you, Sasquatch B, for your kind words, good feedback and of course for playing our game!

The programmer took on the challenge to make it on HTML5 only, and took steps to lower the lag as much as possible. We hope the lag wasn’t too bad.

The HP and XP bars could have been at the top center. Maybe in a next version.

Hi Serket Studios,

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you had fun. Indeed, this game was made a little easy on purpose, as my previous game jam titles were deemed way too difficult.

Haven’t played Robotron (yet), though I vaguely remember it from the 80’s. We definitely went for the neon retro future look and feel here. Basically, the game designer was inspired by the main soundtrack first, and went out to make a game based on the music.

Very interesting concept, I like the idea of automating the grunts while you run your little kingdom at the background.

And who is this Miss Enemy, and why is she 113 after I won the game ;-p

What an incredibly cool concept! “The more a creature does of something, the better the following generation will be at it.” Wish the creature could do more things, though.

Graphics and audio together give me the feel of an oldschool 90s game. Which makes me feel all nostalgic.

Hi Jorava,

Thank you for your honest feedback, and for playing! Yeah, believe it or not: the lag was even worse in earlier versions. Definitely a thing for me to watch out for in the next game jams.

In the meantime, the only solution I can suggest, is to find ways to blast away the drones even faster, before they become a crowd.

Thank you for your compliment, and thank you for playing!

Interesting game. Very original take on the theme too! This one also felt quite polished.

The UI with the cursor on the tiles around the player character was also well made.

The start screen looks amazing! My compliments to the artist. I also liked the lightning effect.

The camera needs some work though. I could often hardly see what’s coming when I was on a cloud.

Ah yes, it happened to me too. The only solution left is to blast the drones before there are too many.

Thank you for playing and for you kind words! Glad you liked it!

Hahahaaa, I should try that too. Thank you!

Thank you, Ensareray! Compliments to the 3D modeler for the enemy models!

Yes! Got all three candies. Gave you a high star mark for the visuals, which were very good. Though I find the cartoony style very nice, I would have been more scared if it weren’t cartoony. I loved what you did in Blender with the custom models!

At some point the big monster kept running and humping against me, but I seemed immortal at that point. I’m not complaining because that made that I could win the game.

I’m rich because of selling pumpkins! Wish I could by more seeds.

I was excited to play this one, seeing the quality of the graphics. But alas, I couldn’t get past the menu screen. Please DM me on Discord if you want specific details on the errors I encountered.

P.S.: Playing in HTML5 only.

Hi Barisg, thank you so much for playing and for your kind words!

Yeah, shine out your light, Pathfinderr!

Niiice! Thank you so much, 5-0-9 Studios! Thank you for playing and for the kind words!

The concept is dear to my heart. I can’t wait to play it once the game jam time’s up!

WOW, that was awesome. I loved the shader (on the assets I believe?). The puzzles were challenging enough but not too difficult. A lot of polish went on this one, I can see.

Nice details at the end credits that you also credited Dawk and Linus haha. Good thinking, they deserve credit too!

Stunning visuals and the background ambient sounds are very nice! I am at awe with the polish on this one. I felt sorry for the cryptid, for all the times it had to endure getting squashed by those traps.

The only thing that I found not so nice, was the slow acceleration of the cryptid. Somehow that felt a little hampering.

Very great polished game, overall!

Graphically this one looked awesome, but alas, I couldn’t get past the menu screen, and my laptop monitor was too small for the resolution of this game… Any help please?

Wow, you are good at making strategy games, it seems! Love the art style and music. And the game is very original and fun. I can tell a lot of thought went into the troop types and game mechanics.

Hi Allalilacias,

Thank you for playing and for the effort! I chose those controller keys, because not everybody has a QWERTY keyboard. The game is challenging on purpose, indeed. Love to hear you like the art style and music and the game itself!

Made it to the finish: let there be light! Poor little fox is really tiny compared to the stuff in his room, including the room itself. I wonder how he could hear his mom from that distance haha. Jokes aside, this got one of the best drawn graphics I’ve seen in the three Godot Wild Jams I joined.

Wow, another well-polished game: graphically especially! The boss was intense, though. And going diagonally without dying is difficult at some parts of the game.
