Yeah, sadly I need to get back to focus on my day job so I have no time to create different effects for the possessed items. Anyway, thank you~

Thank you! I also really like your game. Cute concept and artstyle~

Thank you! I tried to do something different for the opening.

The second puzzle is really engaging and hard. I spend like 10 minutes trying to figure out the puzzle. At first i was confused on what i have to do. But eventually it occurs to me on what you want me to do, although it was still not really clear how to make it possible.

After trial and error, and getting this to the "right" place (no spoiler lol). Then it was very very satisfying. Really cool concept! Too bad it doesn't have any audio or music :(

i like the effects

I love all the little details that you put into this game. The zoom-in and zoom-out transition, the lighting, the transparent lamp on top of the room, the zooming and moving in camera towards the person you talk to, and many other stuff. You really know your stuff!

Besides that, the writing is already on to a good start. I feel like you draw inspiration from JRPG style of writing where things are kind of absurd and a little vague. If you keep on creating this type of writing and details to the design, things are going to be even greater!

Great job~

The rough hand drawn monochrome artwork is really nice, somehow it gives a breakcore album cover vibes. Already seen a couple of devs using RenPy for this jam submission, interesting engine! Didn't know it existed before this jam. Good job for your first game and keep making it~

Really like the line-art artstyle, looks clean and minimalistic!

damn too bad you guys didnt finish it on time. the art and sound is soooo good!

Really cute concept i like it! One note regarding controls, i think if players need to continuously hold the space button, movement using arrow keys is more optimal. My left hand becomes sore after a while trying to be a good rainkeeper. Anyway, this is really amazing for a first game, keep going guys!

Cool minimalistic effect, would be interesting for a unity plugin!

Simple game i love it! The artstyle, especially the keys remind me of an old game i used to play on my pc, i forgot what it is. Very nostalgic game.

A true piece of art. The gameplay reminded me a lot of Florence. Although not exactly the same, the atmosphere it brings is pretty similar. And to use Gymnopédie No. 1 as the soundtrack really seals the lonely feeling of escaping reality.

Really good entry, hope you create more experiences like this in the future.

Very cozy! I like the hand drawn artstyle. The music is also nice, very fitting to a relaxing coffee shop atmosphere. I can't get past the 12th order, it was way too fast! lol. Love it, great job~

Fun game! It would be nice if we slowed down a bit when shooting so we don't quickly crashed into our target.

The animal crossing walking animation is so spot on! I also really liked the pixelated-ish water animation. Really excellent graphics!

Really like the artstyle! You also did a great job implementing the visual effects. Wished there's some sort of sound effects to make the combat feels more impactful. Great job!

Cute little game! I feel bad for the cloud, it seems sad when its idling and seems excited to finally able to chase you lol

Yes!! I noticed that too. I thought I created a cool algorithm to create a random request with gradual difficulty towards the end. But sadly, it only works half of the time. We should have sticked with handmade request, but we don't have time near the end :-(

Thanks for playing and the feedback~

Hee-ho. Thanks for playing

Thanks for playing and the kind words. I also really like your game! :D

In our initial scope, we plan to utilize the dialogue for color composition specific request. So a monster might want to have the top of the drinks to be red, or the same color can't be on top of each other. So this will take into account the layers on the bottle.

Having to buy and sell ingredients is a nice idea! Maybe I can reference the gameplay of cook, serve, and delicious.

Thanks for playing and the ideas~

Didn't even crossed my mind when developing the game that a visual cue for "where to put the ingredients in" is a common usability practice. But it makes total sense! Especially since this prototype doesn't have an in-game tutorial.

Thank you for the amazing feedback!

(1 edit)

My initial plan was to make this mobile friendly and i thought that this clicking mechanism is more intuitive to understand. But for mixing drinks, i guess drag and drop is more intuitive because it mimics how it would work in real life.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Thank you!

Thank you for the information~

You guys really need to develop this further and make it into a full release. I really had some fun~

Easily one of the best game I ever played on a game jam!!! I really liked everything. The graphic reminds me a lot of undertale, the idea of planting plants to defend yourself is really cool, and my god the music is soooo great.

Please develop this further and make it more fleshed out, such as adding more plants and quirky effects that they can get. I feel like the more wacky the stuff on the screen will be the more fun I will had. Because to be honest, my enjoyment doesn't come from the strategy to plant it perfectly, but rather just running around enjoying the music and witness various vfx happened on the screen.

I did encounter a technical issue though, on the end of night 2 the frame rate drops to below 10 fps. Maybe I plant too much stuff? Anyway, great job!

Really like the simplicity of the core gameplay loop. It would be nice if we have more things to discover on the "calm" period, maybe foraging and crafting weapons? It can be similar to what Dome Keeper did but more diablo-like and simple. Great job!

I liked the music and the graphic, it was chill. The game design ideas is also great, but I can't seemed to draw cards after certain point and stuck. Also wish that the text on the card is more contrast, currently its kind of hard to read it. Overall great concept!

Hi guys, I just finished uploading and submitting the final build for my game. But I need more time to finish up the description, especially on the "how-to-play" part. Is it okay if I edit the description (and maybe screenshots) during the voting period?

Level 3 is very challenging to complete, but overall fun, great job!

I really like the visuals, this game looks finished! The gameplay is also unique, a puzzle with a very wide flexibility and possibilities, making it more challenging.

The artwork is great! It would be more fun if there were more enemy variations. At the beginning of the game, it also seems that the basic enemy is still difficult to kill. But, overall great job!

The artwork is very good, but I got stuck for quite a while at the beginning of the game because the mechanics are quite difficult, but overall good job!

The artwork is cool and very vibrant! It took me a few games to understand how I could finish level 1, but eventually I got it. Overall good job!

I really like the artwork, especially the colors!

The artwork is great! Playable for kiling time. But I still can't understand the number on the mosquito, does it affect the score?

I'm really impressed that scale really impacts the whole gameplay, great job!

I really enjoyed the game play and the artwork is great! But it's a little weird that we buy things by price, but sell by weight.
