I got the highscore! Fun game but very steep learning curve. I really liked the idea of the red and blue blocks! The wall jumping is really nice. And I like that it was pretty much a puzzle platformer game. Like the jump in the end I was a bit confused how to do it. But realized I could stay on the wall for a bit longer and wait for the block to respawn. Felt really nice to finally beat it! And once I beat it, I felt like I could start speedrunning finally and then finally got the highscore! I liked how you have a tutorial in the menu as well so you can play around and learn before you start. Great game well done!

Super cool! It's so satisfying when you see your upgrades really have an effect on the enemies, along with super clear progression! The sprites are really nice too, and I like the structure of having a upgrade hut down and it getting harder as you go up! I do wish the boss was a bit harder with maybe a different attack starting when it's at 50% health or something? And maybe once you activate the boss some more intense music starts! But either way super nice game, well done!
Funny you say that, it was actually my plan from the beginning haha. I actually made this leaf character:
But I was never really that happy with it, and from the top down it looked pretty weird. So I eventually changed it to first person and my plan was to make the hand look like it was made of leaves. But I ran out of time before I could make it sadly. Anyways thanks so much for the feedback!!
I agree 100% with this! I was playtesting it in the end and really got tired of the second part. Only part I liked was pushing them all into the void in the very end, but the rest was super tedious. Originally the game was supposed to be just blowing them off all the park stuff and then you were done but I feared it would be short (I was wrong). If I could go back I would just make more park furniture to clean without the boring second part. Great feedback, thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous art!! I had a thought while playing, something I think that could be really interesting. If you have a recipe on the side, where you have to get for example: 1 red leaf, 1 green leaf, and 1 yellow leaf. You have to dodge everything else, and if you mess up the recipe you lose a life. Then once you have those 3 ingredients you would take them back to some kind of deposit place and get a new recipe. Idk I think that could be fun if you ever want to expand on this beautiful game. Anyways I loved it, good job!
Love the art, nice animations. The music stressed me out a bit don't know why haha, maybe would be nice with some more ambient sound, like birds chirping and some wind or something with some slow piano notes maybe? But thats just personal preference. Awesome game nonetheless! Loved seeing the bear go into the cave with a full belly.
This game looks really good, and I think the mini map was a perfect touch. And I think the player intuitively follows a path that teaches them about the games mechanics at a great pace. Like when I went upstream to find the mushroom and it says I need a grow spell, I'm like ok I need to head back to the boat to find that spell. It felt like everything had a simple purpose that ties to the progression of the game. Well done!
Amazing concept! I love the idea of a momentum based platformer. I think you executed the controls really well and it feels like there's a high skill ceiling to this which is awesome. I know this is supposed to be like a raging game, and I think it does that very well. I just wish there were more checkpoints, especially in those first few levels so the player doesn't get discouraged. Still a great game with huge potential, well done!
Very cool game! I had one thought while playing, I wish the background was made up of a bit more muted colors, it feels like its part of the foreground sometimes (The big circles and the R&R). Not a big deal but thats just something I would change. Otherwise, the enemy AI is really good! I really like the enemy that dashes towards you and that it shows charging up for its dash. And I like that you have to find those score hot spots that you can stand on to get points. This is clearly a thought out game, and you worked hard on it! Well done!
