Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!

(1 edit)

Hi! [edit: looks like you managed to get it in under the wire, thanks!) :) thank you for taking part! As for the other jams, I have plans for a whole yearly cycle of topics, so movies and plays will definitely come around again - keep an eye out for next month's jam!

It's that time again - I'm running a mini-ttrpg jam with a different theme on the last weekend of each month. This weekend it's Tabled Questions, a jam based around mystery - big mysteries, small mysteries, invented mysteries - and how they might (not) be solved!

Come and join us! These jams have produced some really great and fascinating games so far and the more the merrier.

This is a fascinating jam concept!

Hi folks,

I'm running a second one of my ttrpg jams, this time focused on the open waves! Rolling Waves starts this Friday. To quote the jam page:

Rolling Waves is a game jam all about creating mini-ttrpgs based on the sea! This can be anything from swashbuckling pirates to mysterious undersea life to exploring the extraterrestrial oceans on Titan - anything you can think of,  as long as it involves a huge body of open water.

Come and join us, share the jam around - more games is always good!

I really enjoyed this!

I love this art

There's a difference between a threat and a villain. In Ridley Scott's Alien, the Xenomorph is the threat - but the villain has always been the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

This is the jumping-off point for Loyalty, a one-page TTRPG with Hidden Role Game elements, in which a group of players have to avoid getting killed by the (non-trademark-infringing) creature, work out if any of their team is working for the (non-trademark-infringing) Company, and escape in their (non-trademark-infringing) ship.

(The above paragraph is jokey, but while Alien is the inspiration for the game, it is completely generic and you are able to insert whatever world you would like to build!)

Loyalty was created for the Roll Camera game jam, which features a selection of mini ttrpgs all based on movies! Check out some of the other submissions while you're there.

Hi folks! I thought you might like to know that I'm running a jam this weekend to create a one-page ttrpg game based on a movie. If you wanted to join in I'm hoping that people will have fun with it!

Roll Camera Jam

Hi folks!

I recently uploaded my first game to itch, and I'm super pleased with how it came out - and I'd love to know that other people are having a fun time with it! Tag Team Tag is a game based in the over-the-top aesthetic and characters of pro wrestling, but not in wrestling itself - you do not need to know anything about wrestling to play the game!

In short: you are a tag team of wrestlers who are taking part in a new reality TV show for an online wrestling subscription service, in which your tag team has to hunt down last week's winners and steal the belt from them - but there are randomly-rolled twists and stat-changing difficulties you will encounter. It's entirely based on personality and making yourself sound amazing - if you're completely in the dark about pro wrestling and don't know why this could be utterly hilarious, please consider watching this one video which entirely inspired the whole game.
