I love the style of this game! You've done a great job of capturing that drunken party atmosphere, and the bits of dialogue are great. I like the diversity of the characters. The physics beers and infinite cigarettes were definitely a nice touch as well. I will say I wish there was a way to adjust the sensitivity while in the game, as well as see the control scheme, although I do appreciate it being shown in the beginning. Visually speaking though, I have no comments. Good luck on your future endeavors!

Quite an interesting concept! The game itself is pretty simple, but I appreciate the small details put in, like having the minigames instead of just "walk here" and "pick up that". Other than that the sound is pretty good, the and the art does its job pretty well. The jumpscare was also a nice touch. Good work!
This is so far a very very strong game. Not even a few seconds in and I felt that kick of Doom nostalgia, and that speaks a lot for the excellent music and design. To say that this game has any lack of effort whatsoever is a gross over exaggeration, and this is evidenced by the small but important details, from the sound design to the particle effects.
If I were to provide any criticisms it would be the difficulty spike. I've played the game for a bit now and am noticing that even for a classic run n gun, it may be a tad unbalanced in favor of the AI. Even so, this game tells me that you definitely care about making it good quality and so I have faith you will continue working on it.
All else aside this has the potential of being an amazing experience for retro lovers and I cannot wait to see where this game goes. Thanks a lot and Godspeed!
Wow, this is a very nice game! I definitely dig the "hell but its stylish" vibe, and so far everything seems super smooth. It's awesome to see the consistency in style not break anywhere, and it really gives off a polished feel. There is undeniably a lot of effort put into small details which really brings this game together. I was particularly happy to see the x-ray view once your character is behind an obstacle, and a ton of other great features.
My one thing is the "controls" section of the menu. I'm not sure if maybe I missed something, but I'm a little unsure of what it's supposed to be; when it opens I see the keyboard and mouse setup but no "labels".
Overall I can definitely see myself sinking a ton of hours into this game, and definitely recommend. Thanks for sharing and great work!
It's been great to see an influx of PS1 style retro-y horror games on here, and this is a very fine addition! The story increases in intensity tremendously well, and the jump scares are very well placed. The dated camcorder effect really gives that creepy uncanny feeling, and the graphics are very pleasant to look at, down to the tee. I only wish there was some kind of at least small hint at the very beginning for you to read the book, as I only read it after randomly letting in like 2 cars without knowing the whole license plate thing, but that might just be my lack of attention speaking. Regardless, I think the security booth mechanic is very clever and actually keeps you invested, unlike games where you randomly wander around waiting for scripts. Very nice work on this game; can't wait to see more from you!
Wow, it's incredible to see such appeal in a game made in such a short period! The gameplay is satisfying, the graphics look great, and the animations are top notch. I love that the truck "stretches" a little bit when you move around, and its quite clear you didn't take any shortcuts with the game's design. It's definitely fun for a few minutes and even might be worth revisiting. Thank you for sharing this clever little concept. Keep up the good work!
***SPOILERS***
I'm personally always a sucker for VHS found video effects, and you NAILED this one. The atmosphere in this game as well as small details are a big A for me, and the various little tasks do a great job of immersing the player. I also think it's a genius idea to have the story told through a narrated retrospect, which makes getting the objectives a lot more natural(eg. I closed my door), and not to mention makes the twist all the more surprising!
One thing I'm having a hard time understanding is whether or not the jump scare is the actual game end or if I missed something and it's a game over. I assume it's the latter since the narrator lives to tell the story but I would love some help here. Another small thing is the texting mechanic. I think its a good storytelling device but when you go to type something it doesn't actually send which is a little confusing.
I had a ton of fun playing this and would like to thank you for this short spooky experience. Cannot wait for more episodes and work from you!
The game definitely has potential but could use some work. I like that the ambience and darkness set the mood but very little is explained regarding the mechanics or objective of the game. It's pretty easy to pickup what you're supposed to be doing but even as much as putting a control scheme at the start of the game I feel would do a lot of good. As far as bugs there is actually nothing fatally wrong but there are a few small things that kind of break the atmosphere. Some work was clearly put into this game so I would love to see it polished up in the future. Thanks for sharing and good luck!
I love the look of this game so far. The enemies are all unique and quirky, each level has its own feel to it, and there's that good old DOOM run n gun nostalgia every step of the way. It's also great that each "area" has its own soundtrack, and all the cool details in the game definitely speak for the effort that went into it. One thing I would love to see is the ability to collect more weapon types but other than that the gameplay is practically perfect. Additionally, the comical vibe just make it even better! I wish you much luck with this game!
While pretty similar to Phasmophobia, this game is pretty strong by itself and clearly made with competence. I did have some fun saying "hell" and "f***" to anger the ghost so that was a pleasant nuance, and the voice recognition in itself is pretty good. I do wish there was at least some sort of menu system even if the Itchio page does a nice job of explaining the game's features, but as this was just recently put out it is understandable. I haven't really stumble upon any game breaking bugs yet (or even minor ones for that matter!) so that made the game all the more enjoyable. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see where this game goes!
I have nothing but praise for this game. The art style, the audio, the pacing are all so perfectly placed. This is a wonderfully unique idea, executed flawlessly. Even as a stylistic homage to the works of Junji Ito, this game accomplishes something very cool and unexpected with its storytelling. The little twists and turns are very surprising and keep you interested throughout the whole playthrough. I do wish it was a bit longer, but the chosen length was probably optimal for this project. I am very excited to see more; keep up the awesome work!
A very cool and unique concept executed nearly perfectly! The game does a good job of keeping tension high using the well placed visual and audio clues. I have not yet had a successful run, but enjoyed the experience nonetheless. I would hope that there may be eventually be a difficulty selection feature added, but other than that I have no complaints! I hope to see more from this author in the future.
