It depends on where you hit the ball, if you're hitting the ball too late to the ground it hits low, try hitting the ball when its higher.

he'll have some sort of close range hit near the body, but volley will be a separate move you can do
Glad you like the swing animation. What stuff is broken have you found? I've just fixed the overpowered hit that happens randomly and you can restart with tab now.
