I am sure this has been asked before, but are no-code engines like Construct 3 and Game Maker allowed?

I didn't play this game! Really, I didn't!

Thanks, Jordan! I'll glad you liked it! I was very pleased with how the final gameplay system was so effortless! Thank you for taking the time to revisit and comment!

That is awesome! I really hoped TetherGeist would get a full release, and I am happy you guys have decided to go for it!

It's totally fine with me if you want to use my comment! In fact, it is an honor!

This was quite entertaining to read, Lucas! I hope you continue to develop this idea and go for a full release!

I just have to say, I am really happy I was one of the original players of Grappling Scarf!

It was one of the few games I had an absolute blast with, and I am so happy you received the recognition you deserved! Well done and keep up the good work!

Also, Happy Birthday! GMTK gave you quite the present!

No problem at all! Happy to assist!

You did a fabulous job!

Fly, Granny, Fly!

I loved the art style and overall feel of the controls! The animations also really kicks this game up a level! I have played a few "dog-drags-human" games in this jam, and this is by far the most fun! Very nice job!

Thanks, JRevel! I am planning on adding a ton more levels in a future release, so I will keep your observation in mind!

I really appreciate your detailed feedback, as it will help me to improve this game! Thank you for taking the time to play and comment this late in the jam!

Hectic and fun! The art style is totally unique, the music chill, and the enemies are tough!

I do appreciate, as a player, that there is some sort of visual indicators to show when new enemies will be showing up! Overall, Well done!

This game is really quite a unique platformer! I have played a vast number of platformers in this jam, and yours is one of the most interesting and fun to play! I enjoyed welding and flying through the game! Nicely done!

The concept of this game is very funny, and with some polish t o the controls (Like others have mentioned), and a bit for work on the art, this could a smash hit!

Personally, I would recommend switching to 2D graphics, as there isn't really any necessity to use 3D for this game to work, and it would be easier to make.

or

Angry Birds 3: Nest Egg

Really nice game! I love the art style and general feel of it! It's super satisfying to flap and avoid obstacles, and the animations really take this game to the next level! You have a winner here!

No problem at all! Happy to assist!

This was a fun game! I really liked how each enemy type was different in its approach to attacking you! The graphics are good, and I like the design of each ship! The UI is also really well laid out, and the controls are easy to use!

I must say, it is super satisfying to smash through a group of small enemies. Nice job overall!

Thanks! The physics took me a while to get right, and everyone has seemed to really like how the ship moves! I'm pleased with how it turned out!

Thanks for stopping by this late in the jam to comment and check my game out! It means a lot!

Originally, that was intentional, but I'm planning on changing it!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! It really helps me improve Astrodrift!

I enjoyed playing you game, so the pleasure is all mine! Great job!

No problem! Happy to play!

I can imagine how it felt to see him play is live! It's amazing that you were one of the few game selected!

I like checking out games that are different, and your game is one of only a few games here that interpreted the theme in this way! It's fun to play, even with the issues! You did a standup job!

I would love to see a full release! You did a great job with this game!

I really like the concept of this game, but I feel the game's various systems need a bit more polish in future releases. I found the little metal blocks to be finicky at times, which could be very annoying. Overall though, a very nice little experience! Well done!

While the concept is sound, I found the graphics of this game to be very hard to look at. You might consider using a less busy background so the player can focus on the action.

Overall, chaining opponents together in a fighting game is a very interesting concept! Nicely done!

I like the idea of placing pieces in front of your character to make a path away from danger.  However, the fall damage of the character was quite annoying at times. I think with a bit more polish you would have an interesting experience on your hands!

I like the art style, but your mechanics needs some work. Generally speaking, it would be great to have some more visual feedback when stuff happens on screen. Good entry!

This is one of those games I have a hard time with, not because the game is bad, but because I am! I really enjoy the beat, even though I couldn't seem to get very far! You have created a very innovative game here, and of all the games I have played, yours is one of the most unique! Well done!

Just thought I would give you a heads up!

Cute concept! The artwork is nice and in general, the game is fun to play!

However, the music and SFX of the game leave a lot to be desired. I would improve on that if you decide to continue development. I recommend checking out freesounds.org if you are having trouble finding some good sound effects!

Regardless, I really liked pushing my human right to the limit and then backing off for a bit! HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm a very bad boy.

I thought the challenges were interesting, and the controls felt great! However, the art could be a bit improved if you ask me.

I thought Edge Case was the only game to utilize this sign line mechanic, but I guess not! You have arguably created an even better version of the same concept! Well done!

Everything about this game is polished to perfection! The graphics, the mechanics, the level design, all of IT!

I REALLY liked how each character had a passive ability, rather than an active one. I also liked how you could make your life easy or hard based on how you played! Of all the two character games I have played in this jam, yours, by far, has the most potential for a full release! Impeccable work!

(1 edit)

This was quite the mind bending game to play! I kept forgetting about one of the characters and frantically switching them around! The visuals really help to make the game feel special! Nice job!

(3 edits)

Fun! I really like how tied the player is to the heart, and if anything happens to it, it's game over! I also like the general look of the game, as the art style is very complete! The music and general sound design were also excellent!

(1 edit)

The aesthetics of this game are on point! The controls are snappy, and everything feels great!

However, I disliked how the shooting and switching actions were mapped to the z and x keys. It would have been better, in my opinion, to map to the space and shift the keys instead.

Nice work!

I really like how zen the game was! The art style is also really top-notch! However, I would recommend adding in a few more mechanics, as the game feels a bit bare-bones at the moment. Nonetheless, really good job!
