Author's Tumblr?! HOW THE FUCK AM I GOING TO FIND IT??? I saw ZERO links!? Again, you assume something that YOU think I know. WHICH I DON'T!!! And again, I HAD NEVER INSULTED THEIR GAAMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wrong about what exactly???!?!?!? YOU started to push me with these deliberately comments about my "beliefs," which were your part of imagination...

You were talking imaginary nonsense. How the fuck would I get your mad antics?

Oh, shut up... You literally don't get half of my messages. >=->L"

Tired of your BS.

YOU ARE TALKING NONSENSE! I NEVER WAS OFFENDED BY THE GAME JUST BECAUSE WANDER LOOKS RIDICULOUS. I GET IT, THE ARTSTYLE! I NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES HIM. HOW WOULD THAT MAKE ME "OFFENDED" OF THE GAME?! WHY DO Y'ALL ALWAYS ASSUME THAT I DO NOT ENJOY GAMES, JEEZ!!! AND IT LOOKS OFF BECAUSE I'M COMPARING THE ORIGINAL ONE AND THIS. WHY DO YOU ALWAYS NEED ASSUME THE WORST AND MAKE A SCENE JUST BECAUSE OF A SMALL THING???!!?!

AND I WAS NEVER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LACK OF ENGLISH, I WAS JUST EXCITED SEEING A FREAKING GAME ON ITCH.IO FROM THE CARTOON I USED TO WATCH AS A FUCKING CHILD!!!

YOU'RE JUST OVERCOMPLICATING YOUR BRAIN! BECAUSE I'VE NEVER SAID OR MEANT SUCH THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY IS IT ALWAYS AN ISSUE WITH CREATORS TO JUST THROW OFF POSITIVE FEEDBACK, CONCENTRATING ON LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.

YOU'RE NOT EVEN THE DEVELOPER! YOU'RE JUST THEIR FRIEND!!!

DUDE, I have no idea what you're getting at! I never mentioned anything against the developer except Wander's wonky physique. The TiMELINE is a vessel to stay put over the project's development. I've noticed that A LOT of beginner artists simply leave their projects due to lack of concentration; they just can't organize the time properly!

And your accusations are hilarious! How could you possibly accuse me that I cannot freaking draw and put it in the comment, thinking it's a GOOD IDEA?!! like- ?! And WHY IN THE WORLD would you tell me that the developer is a teenager?! How ALL of this correlates to the goddamn topic!? >=-("

You're just being ridiculous, dude...

"Hope so"? Does it mean the production doesn't have definite timeline? Ugh, REALLY hope you won't throw the game away in the middle of its creation, like similar developers do... >=-/

Well, we'll see. Crossing fingers until then.

Jeez, okay! Take your time...

Okay... And when the game will be finished? Next year possibly?

Lastly, music. I didn't want to address it but I think this review would be incomplete without it. Not bad but not memorable either. Just fine if you'd ask me.

Third, visuals. This game caught my eye because of Total Drama style. But poorly designed.

Strokes of Fern are inconsistent when they compared to one another.

All of them stand (or at least Pixie's face) in 3/4 view. Except Duck, Broom and Peregrine. Out of all three, (or even the whole cast) Peregrine is REALLY stands out from the characters, it's sickening to see. Why couldn't Mary or Lulu draw him in 3/4??? He just feels like a poster at some moments.
I'm just glad his ox got the side view, urgh... Blessing to my eyes.

Background is really inconsistent too. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Noticed the artists have a really good grip writing the nature, so I'm really curious what next set of foresty illustrations would be.

UI is nice.

But also, hope you'd add stubbles, beards, different types of body shapes, scars, eyebags, new hair, etc. at some point or another.

Because this type of customization currently sucks...

Second thing, writing. If we close eyes on the whole voice acting thing, it is good-ish? I'll be straight to you, I've got access to the whole script. Didn't expect but I enjoyed it! The ending wasn't so much enjoyable though... Felt like all this hard work wasn't worth it? Kinda dumb, and instead of the whole "comedy" effect it was just mere disappointment! And small dosage of irritation. Glad knowing that at least wording of the decision is to be or not to be in final cut.  Hmm... Well, up to you. Do not screw this up.

Fine.

First off, voice acting. There's a LOT of mismatch between the audio and lines. Sometimes, even the voice tracks are distorted or have unnecessary gaps.

Pro-o-obably the earliest example is with Fern, in the dungeon; when they repeatedly mutter "Come on, come on" OK, the audio is off 1 second from the lines. Which is already terrible, giving the tense mood of situation, nobody is going to stop to wait on two words right middle in the action. But! It's getting worse; Robyn actually said THREE times "come on," and it wasn't included in the script. Why?! This could've help the situation a bit... (And it seems like a trend, A LOT of what the characters talk about slightly different from what their voice actors actually express)

The next, bugging me, line is also from Fern. Or Robyn MJ McConnel, whatever. Little bit forward from the previous one, it's when they say "no--" in desperation. So, not only it has the same issue with the "Come on" now, but the beginning has been distorted. The sound resembling stridor or a hiccup >={. Weird... And what's up with hyphens? They don't get interrupted. At least the voice acting doesn't suggest that.

However, there's a LOT of issues. Script doesn't include character's scoffs and grumbles when voice actors express them. Then, for specific occasions, it was done?! Writers, make up your minds! Jeez...

Again, about Fern. I don't like that their scream was done quieter compared to literally everyone else's voice. It's just unnatural. You could've at least put it on the same level as the others if being squirmish about bleeding ears.

And it's just several things about voice acting vs. writing.

I made my corrections to your game below; let's hope that Itch.io would put it side to side and not randomly... >=-L

I can't even put them in here... Okay, I'll just share through files.

Here's what I would hope to see in the future ...

Oh, the story is not that bad for the demo, honestly! But voice acting is...

Looking forward to the complete project!

What in Total Drama is this... D=L

LOVE THIS!!!

The art and music are cute, this game seems fun but there's like zero variety on clothing and accessories... Which is a shame I'd say.

4/10

This game really sucks

So I clicked on the knife (button to change hairstyles) and suddenly everything blurred out. It STAYS pixelated; tried waiting, no response.

The same happened when I tried to reload the game.

Ugh, impossible to play on mobile >=-(

Do smth, goddamnit!

This game is boring...

Look at the two fellas above... Honestly, when I first saw the title, my first thought wasn't at all that it's a kink game.. But, the idea is pretty cool actually, we have visualization and (sorta) medical terminology for the traumas and fractures. I think.. That's a great way to implement wounds into storytelling or some roleplay related stuff without taking too much time finding information for visuals and ideas (???) If that makes sense. At least, that's my second thought.

As for the gameplay, it's dull. Would've love to see more customization or/and implemented traumas.

Music is good-ish for the short game like this, kinda gives medical vibes.

4/10

Literal death sentence...

I FORGOR I CAN ROTATE MY PHONE HELP!!!

Well, this certainly much better... <;-[

Yeah, I was playing on the computer! My screen resolution is kinda "small" for game to be fully displayed on the webpage; it's 1366 x 768. Aaand when I try to toggle it

this happens. . .  (Fullscreen works great tho, but again, Snip tool doesn't want to work when it's turned on. Had no choice >X-P)

OK, now I'm curious about the phone, aand...

Fullscreen doesn't work; can click on stuff but, lmao, unplayable...  At least on mine.

Thanks for the respooooond tho >=-)

OMG, loooooveee!!! Would've been more fun if you added some accessories and stuff, like bracelets, piercings, (OH, maybe even some engravings on her body??) nails? lol

Also, never heard of Mermay but I'm guessing that's why it's kinda restricted? >=-Kp
Adding button for exporting image into PNG/JPEG would be also cool. Had to resize my screen for a bit just to get the right angle, and noticed that the UI can break lmao; nevertheless, it didn't affect my mermaid! !!

On another note, why does Wander look like a freaking abomination. Especially on the poster >=-?

RUSSIAN WANDER OVER YOUNDER?! WHAaaaaTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

DUDE, ADD ENGLISH VERSION ASAP >:(

LMAO. Though, not a fan of graphics, the game's kinda fun! Reminds me of a similar game that I was playing waaay back in 2012, neat! Nostalgic too...

lmao. THis game is shit as hell T___T

MOREOVER I attempted to just click on these little black squares WITHOUT getting the keys, and the level are still considered as "passed." LMAOOO, the developer is crazy.

gurl, you have to manually click on the black square below. Like, wtf... Such an awful choice >=-{

AAAAAAAAAAAH!!@ CLUB PENGUIN!!!!

(1 edit)

lmao, awesome idea, cute graphics!!

The concept is cute, but this game is so buggy, like argh! I can't play properly like this...

And I'm pretty sure it's abandoned. lol, welp... Rest in peace

(1 edit)

I'm not saying it's a "bad" game from psychological perspective, and, of course, from your sufferings. But I mean, it's just... Several stuff that was happening in the family. Verbally. But what about other ugly moments? What did you feel when realizing these moments were happening? Why did those people do that?

I need more analyzing, more depth, more personality.

I had to move around the area to see text fully.

Well, instead of text floating in the mid-air, perhaps you could make it pop-up on the screen as the main character activates different triggers? And I mean show it ON the screen instead making it in the air, so people wouldn't need to figure out the correct angle to see it. Maybe you could find a way to implement it as it is right now, but make it always adaptable to the size of a player's view. Perhaps you could make it looks like a visual novel type of stuff with textboxes, but I'd doubt it'd look good. Well at least readable...

I suggest you to ask actual Unity game developers or anyone with a programming skill more than a piece of grape, as I am no help with this type of a deal.

About adult selves, it didn't work out. You put minimal effort in this shit, you HAD to be more specific, deep, something!!! Showing off random dudes, screaming "y0u caAn Dooo it" didn't help.

About "personal," stuff. Imo it gives off similar vibes from other games on the topic of abuse. When I first glanced at the title, I thought, perhaps, the person went through something similar. Perhaps different, unique. I wanted to see other peoples' experiences: compare, sympathise, feel something. But instead it's generic. I wanted details. I didn't want to see gist of it. I wanted the truth (it may sound a bit heavy but I really wanted to see the reality of it. I feel like... most people/developers don't show a lot of what had happened in their houses, families, etc in the media. Instead focusing on a more "respectable" and "similar" stuff for such genre. I just want people put souls in these kind of projects because it's their part of life. Even if it means something extreme, it's still part of the trauma, part of the experience.

I rarely see the kind of input in such genres. Almost as if people still silent about their experiences in a way.

I'm sure you had a lot of stuff going on, growing in such environment that you left out. Perhaps from memory, perhaps from the game. And this kind of attitude makes the game "simplistic" in a way. Maybe it's needed more thoughts... Ugh, I don't know anymore, I just need more representation of what "normal," at first glance, people can do.
