Agreed, but due to limited time (I joined a team halfway through the jam to replace a disappeared dev) I couldn't think of all possibilities.

There are many implemented, I just didn't want to go overboard. There are sfx, enemies flashing on damage, and even hitstop (time slowdown) and camera shake effects when you get damaged. I obsess over the small details and effects like this :)

Definitely can be tuned better but if you saw none of them it could be a browser/WebGL issue of sort.

Fun game and mechanics, nice vibrant colors and controls were very smooth. Love the concept of reloading ammo by walking on top of water. But didn't feel very challenging to me. Didn't feel a threat of jumping platforms too early, or being killed by the enemies. Just dashed everywhere. Solid entry though, good job!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Looking back at it reducing levels for each enemy makes sense, especially considering spikes aren't a big threat. Either way I'm glad you got to see all enemies as the totem was the last one :)

Lovely idea, and the art & effects are so nice! Only drawback is even after you get used to the pacing sometimes a mistake counts as 2-3 instantly failing the challenge. But other than that great entry :)

Sadly, you've come across a bug time didn't allow me to finish (I joined halfway through the jam) if two enemies are killed on the same frame the score doesn't register and take you to the next level. Only workaround is to refresh.

All around very interesting. Love the messages concept and multiplayer of seeing others.

Don't play a lot of point and click type adventures but this game was an exception! So fun to play and retry to figure out there's more to be done. Loved the overall vibe.

Difficulty is hard to balance but it ramps up gradually, especially with the enemy totems shooting circles of bullets towards the end!

Great game! Loved playing it but think it'd fit better as an endless high-score kind of game with ramping difficulty/increasing speed. All other aspects were cool!

Cool art direction, and unique gameplay. Definitely can be tuned to be more challenging as it was relatively easy. Would love to see it expanded.

Very fun experience, love the unique lighting mechanic although could be made more challenging. The music vibe matches the game wonderfully, but the sfx felt out of place, or perhaps too loud relatively.
