There are 18 portraits of 18 different characters. There are no variations of expressions, but there are different background options for the portraits.

I don't have one at the moment, but that sounds like a great idea for a future set!

I asked that all of my assets removed were from Komodo/Degica stores, mainly as I had so little control over pricing, interacting with customers, and the ability to make timely updates to asset packs. Thank you! I am not sure if you can use 32x32 size tiles in MZ without some sort of third party plugin. If the rest of the content you are going to work with is built for 48x48 sized tiles, I would stick with Rural Japan. If you've figured out how to use 32x32 sized tiles in MZ, and you're only using 32x32 sized tiles for your entire project, you could go with Temples and Shrines.

The tiles themselves were made referencing Japanese temples and shrines. I do see similarities between Korean and Japanese architecture for buildings like temples and shrines however.

No worries. It's probably referring to this part of the licence:

"A Licence does not allow the Purchaser to:

(b1) Use, sell, share, transfer, give away, sublicense or redistribute the Licensed Asset or Derivate Works other than as part of the relevant Media Product; or

(c1) Allow the user of the Media Product to extract the Licensed Asset or Derivative Works and use them outside of the relevant Media Product."

Essentially, don't include an accessible zip or archived version of the asset pack available within  your project for others to extract and use.

For RPG Maker as an engine, this asset pack is compatible with VX Ave. Are you using a plugin to get this to function correctly with MZ? I've uploaded a new version of the pack that contains tilemaps with transparent backgrounds in the 'RPGMakerVXAce' folder.

I’m away from my computer for a week or so, but from what I remember I think you can select the transparency color in RPG maker when importing the sprite sheet. So you would select the green background as the transparent color.

By default this set will not work with MZ (it was designed to be compatible with VX Ace) due to the 32x32 tile size. I do believe there are plugins made by the RPG Maker community that allow 32x32 tiles to work in MZ, but I have no first hand experience using them.

Thank you for reaching out, and I am happy to hear. The Japan Collection can not be used with MV directly, although there may be 3rd party plugins that allow for 32x32 tiles instead of 48x48 in MV.
