omg tysm im really glad you liked it!! :D

Thank you for the kind words, I'm sorry you had problems with it!

I uploaded a playthrough video on the game's page if you want to see what it looks like / how the mechanics work.

Thank you for playing!

Ahh thank you so much, I'm glad to hear that!!!

Thank you for the kind words!!

I've been replying to people who are having trouble with the animatronics not moving with this, in case you wanted to try again:

The movement of the monsters is giving lots of people problems 😅
It fully works, its just really confusing. If the alarm is on they automatically will run as far away from the office as they can. When its off, you have to tap (which "scares them") in the opposite direction you want them to go, and every few seconds they'll move. So, if the alarm is off, and they are all at the top of the screen, if you tap at the very top above their rooms and everything, they should go down!

But no worries either way, I'm really glad you liked it! :D

Thanks for playing!

I like it a lot! the controls are really unique, and it was fun to nail enemies with my attack from far away. Great job!!

Cute lil game! I really like the art style, I think this prototype has some great legs!

😭yeah im sorry its so janky but im happy you were able to get to the fight!

Really cool idea! Having to manage dodging enemies, hitting A on beat, and aiming at the enemies is really fun and a nice challenge!

It might be a little easier if the bass beat was small and on top of the player, that way you could just look at the player rather than looking back and forth between them and the bottom of the screen.

Great game tho good job!!

This is really really cool!!

It's one of the most unique control methods I've seen in a while, and the art is really spooky looking!

My one constructive piece of advice would be, when you click up to kill the enemies, it would be nice if it created the beam attack, even if you weren't lined up below an enemy, as I think it would make killed them just a bit easier.

Otherwise tho, fantastic job super cool and creative game!!

Ahhh thank you so much for all the kind words, I really appreciate it!!

Hi thank you for the kind words!

Yeah I've heard the movement giving people problems 😅
It fully works for everyone I've had playtest, its just really confusing.

I totally get how you can have problems with that tho that's super fair, but im glad you liked the other parts!

Super creative! I loved that you used both side scroller and top down POVs!

I would have liked a little bit more guidance, like im not sure what that drawing section at the start was for, but it was still really cool to have it in there!

Great job!

Really cool game! I liked the controls a lot, my only note is maybe it would be cool if your attack had knockback and pushed enemies back a bit, rather than just stunning them for a second.

Otherwise great job!!

Thanks everyone! Yeah that makes sense, I'll just avoid mouse input at all!

Hi!

This question might be a lil silly but I wanted to ask, if I have arrow keys as my "d-pad", would I still be allowed to use mouse movements as an input or does that break the rules by exceeding the amount of input options?

Thanks for the help!

Oh wow go right ahead, it would be an honor!

ahh yeah that makes sense, thank you for the help!!

Hi everyone!

About a year and a half ago I made game called Hibernation: https://gilel.itch.io/hibernation

I get a view or two here or there, but randomly I noticed I've been getting a couple views every single day for like the past week:

I checked on the analytics and it says the url is: https://yandex.ru/ which I think is a Russian search engine or something. It has videos and links and stuff, so I tried looking on the website but I couldn't find my game or anything.

Anyone with experience with this stuff, do you have any advice on how to see where its specifically posted? I don't want it removed or anything, I think its cool and all! I was just curious and wanted to see if it was a video of someone playing it, or like just a link to it!

I like it! It was a little confusing how to get to the security room, but good job it's well made!

Super well made! The art and animations are great

I like it!! LOL

The dark souls of cookie clickers. I love dark souls!

I really like it! The idea is pretty funny and something just makes me want to cheer on the lobster and pray that he gets a little further and might finally escape. Nicely done!

Super unique and cool idea! There's also a great level of immersion. Running into big schools of fish and causing them to disperse is super fun!

Incredibly cute! I love the presentation, it's super impressive for 48 hours! Also the idea is one of the more unique ones I've seen!

The movement is really unique and the idea of having to control both the player and the obstacles and boxes was pretty fun!

Super cool art style and set up! I wasn't expecting so many options in the shop and variety of characters so super impressive for 48 hours!

Really polished and fun! The puzzles were also right in the sweet spot of difficulty where it was engaging. Super cool!

Incredibly well made and cool, just like your videos! Common Pino W

Pretty cool game! There were some problems with the collision of your player not changing size as you got big, so I would be massive and go right over some honey or power ups and it would not pick them up, and general detection of absorbing other bees was hard to figure out. Also I assume the other players are AI or mostly AIs, and they are cool but aren't very aggressive and none of them seemed to try to capture any of the flowers or hives. Otherwise really cool!

The game features 5 levels and a boss fight if anyone is interested! The story is that Wizard Duck tried to create magic bread to feed his ducklings, but the bread came alive and duck-napped them! So now he has a to go on a picross/nonogram adventure to save them!

I tried my best to make the game as polished as I could, but all feedback is appreciated!

Duckcross

One of the greatest video games. :)

I currently have no plans for mobile, but if there is enough request I might do it!

The reason you were able to load it on mobile is because the game runs in the browser, so the game will technically run, however a phone doesn't physically have any of the computer buttons, so you can't input anything.

Thanks for the recommendation tho, I will be sure to consider mobile! :)

Thank you so much for all the kind words, I really appreciate it!

Great thank you! I updated the game with the minor tweaks!

Finally, someone gets it!

Oh okay thank you!

Hi everyone!

I submitted my game on time yesterday, and put in a timer in case anyone wanted to speedrun it. My friends ended up really enjoying it and have been practicing it more and more, so I added a few small quality of life features like a restart button and restart counter.

I was wondering if I was allowed to update the game by adding the new builds to the page, or if that is against the rules?

Thank you for the help!

Yeah, I definitely agree that the difficulty progression could have used some more tweaks! I'm glad you enjoyed it however!
