We are making 2D pixelart games inspired by the 16-32 bit era (so Early 90's let's say, more Amiga 1200 gfx).
We would like to have your opinion on the possibility to apply or not for those two titles

We unfortunately lost most of the (assembly) code of the game in a tragic HDD accident quickly after releasing the 1.2 version back then.
A Non-official port update for LINUX was made by a fan in the years 2000, that might be still available online.

Any idea why, or what is wrong, and if it will be easily corrected (or not) please ?

Thx for your comment and proposition. To be sure to understand it precisely, could you elaborate a little bit on "the skin to look like the first one" ? Are you talking about the heroes themself? The way they look or move? or the graphics or effects in general? or something different?

Little Cells on Android devices have another model (Free to play, NO Ads, but limiting the number of games per hours (that you can unlock by buying it). We don't have a APK equal to Itch version, and it would require too much time/work to do so (even more questionable to do for a limited number person too).
So, Sorry, but it will stay like this for now :).

The suggest-a-tool page (https://itch.io/suggest-a-tool) is a great way for the community to add missing ones, but does not seems to be updated at all when adding one, even few days, few weeks, few months, (maybe years at this point) after an entry has been proposed :).
What's the state and process behind it and will something done about it soon ?

It's "technically" possible, but that would be very bad luck. We will check what's happening. Are you playing with Level = Random and Bonus = Random too ?

Thx for your comments, You're not the only one contacting us being happy to see Dstroy 2 being in progress after playing the game 20 years ago. :). We will release a new build soon normally, so you should have more to test soon.
About the bugs:
- No sound - It's normal, because we have not started to work on any sound yet. We're waiting for Jerome, the original musician to work on it again, but he is very busy, so, we're waiting :P...
- For the other problem, let's test the new version coming in few day, and we'll see if it's still there. then we will see. We can test Linux versions on Ubuntu too for now, so we should be able to better test the Linux version. We will even propose in the upcoming version an Appimage version of the game, because it's so much easier to propose it like this :).

We added online score when we had a service allowing us to do so 'easily'. So the Android (with Google play) and Steam version have it.
This version without any DRM or mandatory account  unfortunately is not, but you're right, it's part of the fun to compare your high score with your friends, or the world.
