Okay its a little complicated but you're probably going to have to install Linux on your Chromebook (you can just google a tutorial), then you can use commands to manually install the file, which should work? That's what I did to install Minecraft on my sisters computer, and I assume the process should be the same. So maybe try googling a tutorial for installing Minecraft on a Chromebook, but when they get to the part where it says something like "Copy the command pip/install/minecraft" or whatever, try replacing that with the ultrakill files? I'm not sure :/ good luck :0

Super fun! only issue I have run into so far is sudden lag spikes when opening cards, when a scene is loaded, and when the player turn is started. It doesn't seem others are having this issue so it might be an outdated driver on my end, but I also have a quite potato laptop, so it could also be some minor performance issues. Overall very polished and enjoyable, super exited to see what comes next!
Super fun! but also I don't know if I can forgive you for not making an ending where we don't kill all the little robots :,( great job using sound design and lighting to make moments feel tense and urgent, even though there's seemingly no actual time limit. The controls feel amazing and I'm almost upset there's not more tight platforming using the mechanics. The only minor gripe I have with them is that with the dash ability it seems that your directional input is eaten sometimes whenever you hold down the directional key right after you activate the ability. As long as you wait a second before you try to move it works perfect, so that could just be a skill issue on my part, but maybe something to mess around with if you feel like changing it post jam. But then again, that didn't really affect my gameplay that much, I just had to figure out what was happening and get the timing down.
P.S. Its embarrassing but I did cry when the EMP turned on when I saw the child robot, great voice work, I also spent like 30 minutes trying to find a way to not have to break through the floor at the end
Thank you so much! The crown is a collectable, spoilers for the end so only keep reading if you don't care Around the map in the castle side there's buttons, you have to click every button then go back to the original area where you'll eventually find a path to a flower, --you pick up that flower then return to the first town in the castle area and keep going right, eventually you'll find a machine -there and by putting the flower into it (just walk into it) you win!
--Less spoiler version
Find every button (like the one at the first town in the castle) and then explore the whole map to find a flower, then find the machine and put the flower in it (walk into it) to win!
Hope that helps!
I don't think ill change anything post jam, but thank you for the feedback! I really just needed to put more time into level design to fix that since each screen size is quite small. Also originally I wanted the lack of checkpoints to be a feature, but I realized too late that it was sort of just annoying. Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm going to go in and make the wall jump more intuitive, its much more simple than it seems you just need to not hold down arrow keys, but of course it doesn't say that so I am going to change it. Also, I feel you on the font but unfortunately the game engine I use doesn't have any other options. Definitely give it another play when the jam is rating, im gonna change a bunch!
