Hi! I'm working on a free demo version that will contain the first two bosses. Should be out in a week or two!

Heya! I can't make a video right now but hopefully these instructions will help.
1. First make sure you have the itch.io app:
Download App - itch.io
2. Open the app and log into your Itch.io account
3. Use the search bar in top left to find and install Juice Galaxy
4. After install, go to the Library tab and click on Juice Galaxy
The cog should show up in the bottom right. Alternatively, you can just right-click the game and then click 'Manage'.
5. Click the red 'Manage' button
6. Click 'Switch to another version...'
And there you should find your options. Best of luck, let me know if you need more help. I'll try and make a video on this in the future.
Hi there, you should be able to download it from the game's main page.
Or if you use the itch.io app, it will update automatically:
https://itch.io/app
Sure! You can install an older version using the itch.io app and most likely one of them will work.
1. Install itch.io app here: Download App - itch.io
2. Install Juice Galaxy
3. Right click the game and select 'Manage'
4. Click the 'Manage' button that appears (redundant I know)
5. Click 'Switch to another version...'
I'd recommend trying the oldest first just to ensure that it works, and then working your way up. This issue was first reported during update 0.2.3, so I'll bet 0.2.2 will work. Best of luck and if you get a version to work, let me know so I can have more of a clue how to fix this pesky bug.
Hi! I got your email. I'll send you a notification when localization is ready for translators. I appreciate it.
I was also able to install your .dll and it works on my end. It is really cool to see parts of the game in Spanish!
The error you mentioned is probably due to the decompiler, since I don't get any errors when I compile the game. I've heard of this problem from others who have used Dnspy to edit the game, it just isn't perfect. I'm sorry there's currently not a better way to mod the game.
Wow! Thanks for your effort, you've really done quite a bit of work already, and it is impressive.
Decompilation is the best way to do this right now, but it is still far from ideal. I think Steam Workshop might be the place to upload it after I get that set up (soon!). However, it will need to be recompiled each time the game receives an update, which is why I think you may want to wait for me to figure out a better system for localization.
I want to make this easier for translators like yourself, by implementing a "language pack" system, where all of the text in the game will be stored in a simple text file for each new language. My plan is to host it on Github so that anyone can help work on it.
Currently the text data is scattered all over the place and that's something I need to fix. Honestly, I'm kind of afraid to start, since it will be a big job that touches code all over the game and can introduce bugs. However, seeing the effort you've put in and the enthusiasm of other translators, I feel that I should hurry up with it! I will try to do so within the next few months. If you'd like, send an email to [email protected] so that I have your contact info, and I will email you when it is ready.
Out of curiosity, what language are you working on? ^^
Hi! I think translating the game is a great idea. However, I don't think there's currently a way to do it without a lot of work on my end. I intend implement support for localization in the future, but have been delaying it since I am still changing the game so much.
Without any work on my end, I believe the only way for a fan to translate the game would be to decompile and patch the game, which would be difficult and also require the patch to be recompiled each time I release an update. This is the current problem with modding support I am trying to solve.
Do you have any ideas regarding this? ^^ If there is a good solution that I don't know about, then I'd appreciate it.
Yes, I have thought about making items recyclable. It's a bit difficult, so I've dragged my feet implementing that feature, but I am strongly considering it. I want to give Hoagen a workshop where you can perform crafting functions such as those. I want to add shops too.
And yes, you can slay the British Snake, Mrs. Slitherss. Just head back up to Juice School and you'll find her.
Also your English is great!
Heya, thanks for asking! Yeah it's been a little slow lately, as I've been working mostly on bug fixes and planning the next steps. I've also been quietly experimenting with ideas for a pretty big content update and I'm hoping to release a small part of it in the next few weeks, as long as all goes well.
Hi there! I appreciate your initiative, but I can't allow advertisement of non-official discords on the public JG channels that I maintain.
We previously had a discord server, but it got too big and I did not have the resources to properly moderate it. It became unsafe, so I ended up locking it down after a couple years and currently do not have the resources to maintain another one. Since I can't currently support a new discord, I think the right thing to do is delete links like these from being posted on the community platforms that I do maintain.
I hope you understand why I had to delete this link, and thanks again for taking the time to start one, despite this outcome. Sorry.
Hello, thanks for waiting.
I have a new version ready to try!
It should automatically update, but if it doesn't, try restarting Steam.
I think the solution was actually super simple, but it took me a long time to figure out. It should just work now, but if it doesn't, let me know! There's one more thing I can try, and since its simple, you won't have to wait so long ^^
The game was originally sposed to be a Dark Souls clone with a bunch of miscellaneous ideas and scenes from my dreams. It may have drifted a bit from the soulslike inspiration when I enabled flight lol. I've always the same general plan for the next chunk of the story, although I change my mind on little details frequently.
Are you saying you cannot see your health bar unless you open the inventory? That is not good lol, could you post a screenshot?
You can change the screen resolution in the settings menu, under Graphics. That will likely help.
Lol that's a good idea. I do want to add a gladiator style arena to the game soon, stay tuned.
