I loved every second of this. I don't know if you plan to do any more with this idea, but I'd love an even longer game with more puzzles that uses these mechanics and maybe has some atmospheric music to help players get immersed in the story.

Great job!

Cute platformer that was surprisingly very addicting to play!

My carrot got launched into space  and was never seen again so I figured that was the best place to end it. Definitely one of the more creative games I've played so far. :P

Though, I did like how the enemy locations were marked on the edges of the screen. That was helpful!

Interesting concept! It took a bit for me to get into the game, but I really like the promise of what you've made so far.  I have to agree that the searching was a bit slow, but what made it really fun for me is that I accidentally aggro'd one of the flashlight men patrolling outside. I don't think the guy was supposed to keep shooting at me even when I ran back into the house, but he did! This made it to where I had to plan which places to look since his bullets only went so far.

So as a suggestion, perhaps speed up how long it takes to look inside something and add some guys inside the house that you have to avoid in your search (just to add some tension to the game.)

Or maybe add some kind of puzzle element to the search so the game is more of an escape room.

Regardless of what you do, I hope you continue to develop the game. It was a lot of fun once I got into it and I'd love to see it become a polished game!

Very creative! I loved the mechanics of collecting errors and having one character creating a path for the second one. Also, it was a nice touch that you couldn't walk on the comments.

Interesting concept! I love the idea of a mirrored infinite runner game! I don't know if you plan to continue development on this, but I'd love to see the finished product.

Cool game! I really like the idea of having to turn the environment to navigate to the top! My only suggestion is to increase the character's speed so the controls don't feel as sluggish.

Besides that, I liked the music and felt the levels were creatively designed! Great job!

Interesting concept! My main nitpick would be that the beginning of the game felt a bit slow. I only really started getting into it as the speed began to pick up and jumping over the boxes was more of a challenge. You could mitigate this by introducing the controls/multiple dimensions here or even giving players an option to speed up (at their own risk.)

Besides that, I really liked the music, visuals and the overall atmosphere of the game. You did a fantastic job and I think with a bit more tinkering you could make this a really fun game!

This was a lot of fun to play! Great job!

Interesting concept! I enjoyed the art and music.

LOL, this isn't my favorite type of game, but despite that I think it's very well done. I enjoyed the music and the dialogue was a lot of fun. I don't know if this is just a browser only issue, but I kept getting "write error: db is undefined" popping up on my screen. I have no idea what caused it but there were so many of them that it was hard to see the dialogue options at certain points.

Also, Hank stole my date. What the heck. :P

This was a lovely game. I enjoyed how it read and played like a storybook. I'm not sure if you plan to develop this any further now that the game jam is done, but if you do I'd be excited to see it fully polished.

What a fun concept! It probably wasn't intentional, but the sound the game makes when flipping dimensions has a really cool vibe to it, especially with the lack of music. LOL. It made me think "something big is going to happen" the first time I heard it.

Thank you for playing, I appreciate it!

This is a really clever concept. I agree that with some sound, something to explain the controls/goal of the game and a little bit more time it'd be a great game.

Fantastic idea, I really enjoyed this!

Nice concept! Even though it's not finished, I had fun playing it. I think with a little extra time you could turn this into a great game.

This was a really fun game to play, great job!

That was so much fun!

Great start! I like the concept and I think with a bit more work you could have a really awesome game. I also enjoyed grooving to the music as I was navigating the maze and clicking through the dimensions. :)

Cool game!

That's great to hear! The controls didn't take too much away from the experience and I still had fun playing, so overall I think you did a great job.

Nice take on the theme. I liked the added challenge of fighting 2D monsters that become impossible to hit when they turn sideways.

Nice game! I like the music and visuals.

This is a really creative take on the theme. I really like the dual visuals and I think that this would be an amazing game if you decide you want to keep developing it.

Great job, this was fantastic and a blast to play. I thought the cutscenes were great addition, too. Though, my only critique would be that it was a bit of a pain to have the controls for movement, jumping and switching dimensions all on the same hand.

This was fun, I enjoyed it.

This was fun to play! My only suggestion would be to move the attack controls to the mouse or maybe even the arrow keys and just have WASD for movement so you can attack and move at the same time without having to constantly jump between the keys. :)

This was such a fun concept! I really liked the idea of having to jump between dimensions to make it to the end. I agree that the controls could use a bit of tweaking and it'd help to have some kind of background music to get the player more pumped up while playing.

Also, not sure if this was a weird bug but for some reason my character kept dying back to back until I ran out of lives. To be more specific, something killed me near the flag and then when I respawned I immediately died again (and again) until it was game over.

Overall, this was well done! Great job!

Cool concept! Took a bit to get a hang of all the controls, but once i did I had fun with it. :) I'd be really interested to see this end up as a complete game!

That's great to hear!Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

We made the game using Unity so we definitely can add more levels and we already have some ideas for how to do that. In any case, thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I love the art and I think the music was a lot of fun, though I agree with the other commenters that control screen was a bit much to not only learn but also remember. If you decided to expand on this game, it might be a good idea to consider spacing out when certain mechanics are introduced to make the tutorial more bite sized.

Other than that, I thought it was a great choice to have the fun music in the other world abruptly cut out when returning to reality. Great job!

Interesting concept! I can see this being a great game with a little more polish, but I still had fun with it.

Awesome game! This is really addicting. I was really enjoying figuring out how everything worked and puzzling the best routes to take. Great job!

Haha, no worries! I loved the 3D rotation and thought it was a really great element to the game. So if you want to keep it a surprise and let it be a reward for player exploration then it works really well!
