Good for a first game. Your player controller is very broken though. It feels a little janky, and you can get an insane speed boost if you sprint and crouch. Also be sure you have the rights to use the music at the end lol it still has the anti piracy text to speech voice part in it. Other than that good work, the environment looks good.

Nevermind turns out canyouseeme does not check for udp, people can still connect even though it says the port is closed

Anyone else have issues port forwarding for this game(and unity transport games in general? I've forward the port 7777 but websites like canyouseeme still say the port is closed when I host a game, haven't tested people joining on me yet but thats a pretty good sign it wont work. I've added the port and game to my windows firewall but no luck, and the same issue happens to my unity game and editor too.

Interesting game but I think the character moves a bit too fast for you to make decisions. Selecting cards can also be a bit of a hassle since you have to move your mouse around so much so quick, I think having hotkeys for the cards would be nice. It would also be nice to highlight cards you can't afford in red so its a bit more obvious. Also a winning strategy is to just get the character stuck in an infinite loop, then build out the track to the exit, and then replace the infinite loop at the end, which is a bit of a lame strategy but a guarenteed win. Other than those minor gripes, its a cool idea with good execution. Good job!

Interesting game. I like the mix of 2d and 3d art. I feel like some of the levels go on way too long, specifically level 2 since the level is too big. I wish there was a level select so I could experience all of the levels quickly. The gameplay is fun and hectic. Good job!

Very solid arcade game. Charming art and good music. Gameplay is very fun, but can feel a bit buggy sometimes, I feel like the knight sometimes bounces multiple times off the same object. Ive had a bounce take me up like 4 screens which felt inconsistent with most other bounces. I wish you could build more to the side cus my knight was falling straight down the edge and i couldnt really do much to hit him out. Also it would be nice to have a quicker restart, since going back to the menu is unnecessary. Other than those minor issues, its a lot of fun! Good job!

Well polished game. Controls felt a little frustrating as I was using keyboard, and there were a lot of ceilings that my head bumped against which was very annoying. Sometimes the audio cut out and sometimes when I pressed the ranged attack button, the sound would play but nothing would shoot. The homing enemy felt frustrating since it didnt seem like you could kill it. Other than those minor frustrations, the art and the core gameplay was still pretty fun. The end boss fight was a cool idea too, I wish you had another move to mix things up other than just dash and melee. Good job overall!

Interesting and fun game. I wish there was a level select or a lives system so i didnt have to restart from level one whenever I die. Some of the level geometry is really annoying to get stuck in, like if i shoot someone by a table it is very hard to aim where I want because the table is blocking what looks like a straight shot. But overall it was fun good job!

Fantastic presentation and atmosphere, the first few seconds before the alarm are very unsettling. Camera effect and lighting are really cool. I think the game could be tweaked a little bit to be more fun. I think having the lose condition being to have all 4 keys stolen is a bit flawed, since I was able to just stand by the last key and there wasn't much tension of losing(though it seemed your ai was smart enough to not just run into me, I still had to chase it down, so good for that). I think if you lost the game if the thief stole any 3 or maybe any 2 keys the game would be a lot more tense. But the core game is very well executed! Good job!

Very interesting game. The art style is cool but as some others said some of the platform hitboxes were unclear and I hit my head on some platforms when I thought i wouldnt. The lack of sound hurts my enjoyment a bit. Returning to the start to get the final enemy form to defeat the boss was really cool. Good job!

Very fun! The presentation is nice and polished. I love how you have to collect money with your mouse, which in turn makes you try to avoid the ship so you don't lose more money, but the money is also floating away. Great design! It gets very hectic near the end where you have a lot of money and the ship is on its last life, very tense. Great job!

Very cool game and great presentation! I didn't really know what was going on at first, and honestly I expected a 2.5D game when first loading in so when I moved the camera around and realized it was first person I was kinda surprised lol. Once I got a hang of the controls and mechanics it was really fun! I think the game goes on for a little bit too long, maybe making it 15 laps instead of 20 would be a bit more engaging. But the mechanics are fun and the decision making is very interesting, the risk/reward element of stopping your car to replace tires or fill it up vs just letting it run one more lap, very neat. Good job!

Very cute art. The game is interesting but could use a few more mechanics to spice things up. I was confused at some point because when we are introduced to the side to side moving platform, there is an invisible wall in the middle of the platform that stops you from going off the edge. Then in a later level, that invisible wall is instead on the very left side of the platform. So I was stuck for a while because I kept wondering why it wasn't stopping me in the middle like it did before and I didn't even try to go further to the left. Also the character controller could use some jump buffer and coyote time to make it feel even better, its already a pretty solid base. Good job overall!

Fun game. Imo the hiding mechanic slows the game down a bit too much but thats just a personal thing. And I think if the frog sees you but you get to a bush in time it shouldn't kill you, it feels a bit too punishing as it is now. The presentation is very nice and the car feels fun to control. Good job!

Interesting idea. I wish the movement was a bit less janky, its easy to get stuck on walls. And I would move the spawn a little further down so you can't just win by rushing to the top right power pellet every time. Good job!

Ridiculous idea and amazing clickbait title. Very strange but charming game. I wish there was a hotkey to either skip dialog or flap so you can both play flappy bird and interact with dialogue at the same time without moving your mouse across the screen. Using points for dialogue options is very clever. Good job!

Interesting idea! I like how quickly your horde can grow and you just start causing chaos. I only got to wave 4 so idk if theres any mechanics added later on but it would be nice to see some variety early on. It seemed like there were 2 types of humans but neither of them really ever got close to killing a zombie so it didnt feel like a threat. Maybe some new attacks to dodge like a gun or bomb enemy would be neat. Having some upgrades would be cool too. But obviously its a jam game so you can't add everything you want! Good job overall!

Interesting idea! I wish there was a bit more feedback because when I first played it felt like I had no influence over the ball at all. A speed indicator, speedlines/particle effects on the ball, and maybe some sound effects like a rocket thrust or car engine that's pitch/volume depends on how fast you are, would all help make the player feel more in control. Good job!

I like that you can get a multikill with a single brick. I think theres a bug where if you throw a brick downwards you collide with it for a second, you should disable collision between the player and the projectiles if it isnt already. Good job with your submission!

Cool concept bug a bit buggy. The objective list doesn't actually close and just moves a little, and i could not figure level 2, idk where the bunny or tower to be fixed was. I appreciate you adding a level select so it could be skipped. Using the time rewind thing at the end was very clever, I like when you use actual game mechanics in stories and not just a random qte or have the character do something automatically in a cutscene. Good job!

Very neat! I love the artstyle and story concept. Having it be turned based was a really cool idea. I would have liked a bit less handholdy interaction descriptions, as I think it would be a bit more fun to figure things out on your own rather than tell you what object causes which person to get suspicious. The detectives already say who they are suspicious of when they examine an object, so it would be a cool sense of discover to hear them say it rather than tell you upfront. The ending is a bit abrupt and after playing twice im still not sure what triggers it, probably just a certain number of turns but theres no feedback for it. I still enjoyed the game though, it was neat. Good job!

The art and the enemy themed cards are really neat. The burn mechanic is pretty cool. I wish there was a bit more visual feedback with some animations/particles, like when a debuff gets applied it would be a bit more eye catching if it played an animation, or some screen shake or damage numbers when you are hurt. I didn't understand how much damage enemies were doing to me at first till i tested it(I saw the '3 snakes are aggressive', but on my first turn of ever playing the game I didn't immediately know that would mean 3 damage, but hey maybe im just dumb lol). The enemies were fun to fight and the final boss was a surprise. Good job!

Interesting puzzle game, I enjoyed it but got stuck on the level where you become a weak magnet, I couldn't figure out how to repulsion jump up to the goal. Imo the controls and physics feel really slow which makes it a bit less satisfying to play. Also having the movement being click to move can be clunky, since sometimes I would click to move and accidentally change polarity of an object. The puzzles were fun and the presentation was clean. Good job!

Very interesting puzzle game with a good amount of variety due to the mechanics always changing. Clever use of patch notes to change up the game. Fun puzzles and the art style is very cute. Good job!

Cute game. Love the achievement popups, I like how they cover both extremes of being a completionist(killing all enemies, getting all coins) as well as a speedrun/challenge run(no coins, no kills), so it really encourages you to be absolutely average, very fitting. Final boss was very clever and fun. Good job!

A chill narrative game with a funny story and characters. Good job!

Cool game. The restock and trashing mechanic are really neat and work so well together, great game design! I would have liked to see a visual indicator for when the customers are about to leave/are getting impatient. They have a happy and a blank face expression, so I think adding an angry or bored expression when they are within 10 seconds of leaving for example would be very nice. Art was nice and clean. Good job!

I did still like the game :) Presentation isnt a dealbreaker for me especially since its a game jam(and Im not gonna pretend my own game looks good lol). I just appreciate cool game mechanics which you certainly have so dont worry!

Interesting idea but I found the controls hard to get used to. Im so used to left click being the way to select towers in this kind of game. Some more feedback like sound effects for selecting a tower, killing an enemy, etc would make the game feel a lot more satisfying and easier to understand. Controlling multiple towers at once is satisfying and I could see that mechanic being expanded further with more towers. Good job!

Side note: I found a bug in level 1 where as soon as I kill the first enemy that spawns I win, even though more enemies spawn after the win screen

Combining mana and health while making having too much mana kill you is very interesting game design! It makes waiting for your high cost spell risky as you might get hit and die almost instantly, but if you are at low mana you could intentionally get hit in order to get more mana quickly. Very cool dynamic. The controls took some getting used to, and I wasn't a big fan of the presentation. Good job overall though!

The controls are an interesting idea and feel fun to master. I feel like the end screen is too long, it would be nice to have a faster restart option with less downtime. Good job overall!

Interesting game but the enemies have a bit too much hp imo and the end is a bit of a slog, I had to skip through 3 turns with no enemies just to get back to fighting the wizards. Story elements were nice to see. Good job with your submission!

Cool game! The highway mechanic looks so clean and is satisfying to pull off. Good job!

Wish there was a bit more explanation to the game, like a description of what the moves do. Also at some point the thief character was invincible and was not taking any damage not sure if it was a bug or a mechanic I was missing. Good job with your submission!

Interesting idea. I would've liked some more progression elements like upgrades like I've seen in some of the other games like this, but like you say in the credits there's only so much you can do in a jam. The sprites and 3d mix together well. Good job!

Cute puzzle game. I liked the autoscroller levels at the end, they felt tense. The collisions were kinda bug, pushed objects have no gravity and go through walls. Still an enjoyable experience. Good job!

Well made puzzle game. I couldnt figure out the puzzle in the desert tileset with the big mushroom in the middle, but beat all the other ones. Glad you added a level skip. Good job!

Cute game. Love how you added new mechanics so it isn't just plain old snake. The provoke and hide mechanic along with movement slowing as you collect mice work really well together, very smart game design. Like other people say the endgame basically just comes down to waiting for the mice to spawn close to you. You could either decrease the move penalty a little or add a way to drop off or deposit mice to get some of your speed back for an example. Presentation was clean. Good job!

Fantastic role reversal. Avoiding the snake ai is really interesting. The new obstacles added every few seconds adds a lot to the game. Great arcade style game. Good job!

Cute puzzle game. The presentation is really nice. Puzzles are pretty simple and easy to me but thats better than having puzzles that are way too hard imo. Good job!
