A pretty interesting read!

The game has a cool concept, making you play as Yumeko, an AI made with the sole purpose of being the girlfriend of the Doctor. You just have to be the perfect little girlfriend to the incel man who wants to control your life, what could go wrong?

First off, I have to compliment the writing (and strictly the writing, not the character) of the Doctor. This games makes a really good job making him an unlikeable, arrogant incel, but most importantly: he's realistic. People like the doctor, looking at women for what they stand for instead of what they actually are, are very much a real threat, and Doctor represents them very well. He doesn't care about Yumeko as a person: he cares about what she stands for, what the "girlfriend" status means to him, what his very own hand-crafted perfect girlfriend should be. I'm also giving my props to the VA here, as he really nails the arrogant vibe the Doctor shows in all his interactions, being condescending to everyone.

Which contrasts well enough with Yumeko herself, who is really just a vehicle for the story to go forward. She has no real personality, but how could she? She's just a thing for the Doctor to fawn over, she's not real! She exists solely to be looked at, to be loved by a man she understands is a bad person! There's no reason for her to have a personality outside of accepting all the Doctor wants, because that's what the perfect girlfriend is to him! It gets the point across really well, as Yumeko doesn't know anything of the world outside of what the Doctor tells her, and as such, she ends up kinda bland, in a way that feels necessary for a plot like this. But only if you comply though...

But not complying leads to some really interesting sections, with reboots and the Doctor trying to bend you to his will even further, which on top of being a really good representation of the themes in this game, is where the game's attention to detail in its presentation really shines. The little visual cues, the progressive change through each reboot, they all come to make a bit of an unsettling experience. I do think that the overall violent imagery in each reboot, while understandable in its intent, is a bit hit-or-miss for me in the actual pictures, sometimes feeling a bit too "oooooo spooky creepy image ooooo". The ones that are great here are great though, and I appreciate the effort to make an individual image for each choice, it's really more of a nitpick to be honest. It just shows the overall polish of the game that's pretty easy to see from the get-go anyway. The perfect Yumeko we see once all the reboots are done is a really interesting case though, with her altered thoughts.

Overall, pretty cool game! ^^

Finally got to play this lol, pretty cool continuation to the whole Emma saga!

The stylish menu and animations make a strong impression from the get-go, as well as the trademark banger OST that comes with every NotHack Europa game (shoutout to ill yama and WeeabooOverlord, they just never miss!), the overall level of polish in the menu and UI is impressive, additions like the flowchart are a really nice touch! As always, the voice acting is great, and the overall concept of jumping between timelines is pretty interesting!

And this concept is essential in how the characters act, love the contrast between the two Arturs especially, feeling different from one another while neither of them ever become out of character, as well as the other Emma's thoughts on the choices protag Emma made (which are understandable considering the differences between the two timelines), and lead for some really great moments, especially liked seeing our Emma doubt her relationship with Artur because of the other timeline!

But other than the returning cast, the new additions are also great! Stanley may be my favorite antagonist from a NotHack Europa game, between routes where you're persuaded of his evilness and others where you start to doubt if his intentions are even malicious, he's a real standout, and a really good character. Julian is also great, and could be interesting to see again, liked the opposition between the actions of the two Julians!

However, it does feel like this game is a bit too restrained as well. Having a lot of paths felt like sometimes the game got a bit too clustered in its storytellling, trying to tell too much in too little time, but that seems like more of a jam issue than anything.

Overall, still excited for the 4th Emma game after what happens in the True End, and really cool concept! ^^

No problem, I'm glad you liked reading it! ^^ And hey, noticing that you could have done some stuff better only shows that you've improved enough to not do the exact same thing again, each VN is a learning experience for the next ones, looking forward to what you're doing next! :D

This was honestly surprisingly good for something I only heard of by clicking the "random vn" button on vndb!

The game is insanely immersive and engaging, be it in writing, in style cohesion, or in sound design (which btw, the OST and sound direction throughout the whole thing is fantastic!!). It's instantly gripping, with its unsettling intro scene really taking full advantage of the medium. But the cozy, yet desolate vibe is nailed here, in no small feat due to the really cute yet faded art style that really fits the tone of the VN!

And the world is one of the core parts of this VN, the whole political intrigue and war going on are essential here, and they managed to get explained really well! At no point did I feel lost or like I didn't get enough exposition, like living in this war-ridden world felt as natural to me as it is for the characters in this game. Getting Ana to peek at the conversations she's routing, or having her and Courier explore outside of Ana's house are really good opportunities to get a closer look at how the world works outside of Ana's secluded lifestyle.

Speaking of which, all the characters here are really charming, from their designs to their personalities! Ana, as the protagonist, definitely takes center stage here, and as such, gets a lot of development from it! Her naiveté and innocence mixed with the exploration of her work, relationships and backstory makes her a really interesting and memorable character! Same could be said about pretty much every important character as well, like Courier, Maillard, Yuno or even Clara despite her never appearing once, which manages to make the story feel really full, especially with the extra adding some more personality to the cast.

The ending sequence especially (aka anything from Yuno's arrival onwards) was really great, and a fantastic way to close it off. Rabbit 0 made me speculate a lot about theories for what could happen next, and I'm honestly really excited to see what the next game will give us! The only real issue I have is that it does feel like part of a bigger whole that we don't have so far, and as such it could have gone on for longer, but for a jam entry, this is already a really impressive level of quality!

Really cute, well-written VN, can't wait for Kavaya Local Maximum! ^^

Seems like I'm in the minority here, but I think this game is  a good concept hindered by a so-so meta setting.

Now, this is a prototype version of a VN that should improve on it, and while the art has a really cool style, the writing could definitely use some more polish. It spends too much time going "haha, this is a game, and you just want your harem, don't you silly player?" in a way that feels obnoxious really quickly. Despite only being 45 minutes long, having a bunch of that being Yandere-chan and Dandere-chan that this is just a game and that you should take them on a date because it's an eroge gets tiring really quickly, especially considering how bland the characters are, as they're just "anime girl stereotype but meta oooooo", and the meta elements being making your average QOL options a nuisance (the Auto function softlocks you, you can't skip, the automatic text speed on dialogues is way too fast to read anything and it likes to do auto dialogue A LOT...) surely don't help. (Oh, and taking a screenshot crashes the game, you might want to look into that lol)

So, not the best first impression, and that unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the VN, which is a shame because the game reveals the untapped potential it could have later on. Discussions linking determinism to being a video game character and thus having everything written for you, overall more interesting meta writing on the second loop... the game definitely ends better than it starts. Despite the Insert_Disc part of the game feeling unnecessary, as it just gets confusing despite not really showing anything new, and doesn't really feel like it has a purpose overall.

The ending is the only moment where I feel like the game reached its full potential, with the whole talk about color and the art change, I just wished it focused more on the psychologic aspect of the characters and less on the "haha meta eroge" part.

I know I'm in the minority anyways, but again, there's definitely potential here (hell, the ending managed to match that potential!), and this still managed to interest me enough to see what the full thing will be like! ^^

Hi, finally got around to play this lol, pretty cool yandere VN! ^^

The game gets pretty immersive from the get-go, really liked Aspen (didn't do the self-insert path, so idk how much of a difference it makes), and the first scene sets the stage in an engaging and fun way, making them a pretty likeable protagonist right away. Aspen is actually my favorite character of the VN honestly, now that I think of it, they have a good amount of depth and funny antics while still being relatable enough to be a good stand-in for the reader.

The rest of the intro gets the "how is it going to go wrong?" idea across pretty well, and while I knew Crowe is a yandere from the start because... idk, I saw the game page and content warnings lol, there's still the feeling that he's pretty nice. His interest in nature is well-developed, and the research put into it to make this interest shape his character up is really well-executed! His relationship with Aspen is also pretty good, the cute moments being consistently well-done, but the tense moments are a bit more hit-or-miss in my opinion. This probably comes from the fact I'm not too much of a yandere guy, but sometimes Crowe just felt a bit too tropey, despite the clear attempt to separate him from the average yandere clichés, but then again, I guess yanderes are a pretty limited trope to play around with, so it's more of a personal preference thing if anything. The exposition near the endings definitely points out a will to make something different, but I feel like at this point, I've just went "oh yeah, Crowe's just a yandere" and it felt a bit like too little was done too late, and the occurences of foreshadowing like the wound in Day 2 just feel a bit out of place and like it's leaning too much in the yandere aspect on first playthrough in my opinion (although I could understand why it may not be the case for some people). One of the endings especially (the bad ending) feels a bit more like yandere fanservice in a way that feels both out of character for Crowe, who is still at the end of the day a nice person towards Aspen, and like it dials back on the idea of making a more fleshed out yandere character, which is a shame because the other two endings are pretty good closers! So overall, I'd say Crowe is still likeable and I completely get his appeal, I'm just not that into yanderes. I can appreciate him still though.

The supernatural elements in around the last third of the story help spice the story out in a way that feels mysterious and interesting, but I honestly wish it was introduced a bit better, as that dream scene with the crow (AKA our first introduction to these elements) felt a bit out of place. It was kinda like I was reading a small creepypasta in the middle of the VN, with all the word spam happening. Again, it does pick up though, making the last days the most interesting ones in my opinion.

Speaking of writing style, the writing was constantly immersive, helped by the great VA work and art, as well as the pacing in Days giving out appreciated little "chapters" to the story and the research in nature themes. Just solid style overall, and a pretty enjoyable experience! ^^

Honestly yeah, sounds like it could be a pretty interesting story! (also, I managed to miss the first post lmaooooo)

yooooooooooo I got a long Chatter comment, epic B-)

Yeah, the music and the menu got way more praise than I expected, that's really cool! (especially considering I honestly don't really like the menu that much lol, but hey, glad other people do!).

Rose may honestly be my favorite design I've done so far, and I'm ABSOLUTELY using her again in another project at some point, haha! The headphones were actually inspiried from my own experience during parties, where I tend to put those in after a while, I guess it stuck out enough that I wanted to include it in the overall detachment Rose felt!

A few people have described the writing as bittersweet, and I think you pointing out the positive note at the end really empathizes this, as you're right, at the end of the day, you have to move on from these moments.

You're right about me blurring the lines between friendship and love in this, for the reasons you pointed out: it's the same feeling in the end. I guess I just wanted to be relatable to those who lost friends or lovers that way? I don't know, I just did it that way because it felt right to me, to be honest, I couldn't even tell you why.

Overall, I'm really glad you liked it, thank you for the comment!!! ^^

Thank you, glad you liked it! :D

aaaaaaa thank you for all the kind words!!!!!!

I'm glad you liked the atmosphere I was going for, I cooked HARD on Rose's... everything, haha. The menu honestly doesn't look that great to me, but hey, if others like it, who am I to judge? Just means you get to enjoy more of it!

I actually based this off a real experience I had with a high school friend, so the "meeting your friends after high school" vibe was spot-on (I do agree on the fact that it's life, and you just have to let go at some point!)

Overall, thank you for giving it a try, I'm really really glad you liked it!!! ^^

Finished the whole thing, gonna give my thoughts in a minute, but before that, as the guy who made the Ninisanni Scenario 1 guide (which btw, don't ask me where it is anymore bc I legit have NO idea), figured I should do a little something for people struggling with completeing the to-do list:

THE REVIEW(ish) PART:

As someone who has been following your stuff since Tower of Gloom and The Show Must Go On somehow, watching your evolution unfold has been SO rewarding, the chaacter writing is really fleshed out, the humor lands well, and the amount of content is insane! The cinematic aspect of your work really shows once again, and I really like the little gimmicks and things added on top of what made Ninisanni 1 good!

The dynamic between MC and the girls from 1 for one is really cool, love your take of the harem setting to make it something more believeable, and the scenes they have really double down on their personalities and what you did with them in this Ninisanni world (I especially like the fetish play scenes, surprisingly enough for someone hesitant on sex scenes in general, as they all feel pretty cute and have some of the best characterization in the whole VN imo) however I do feel like the new characters have very variable screen time (just compare the amount of Maria scenes to the amount of Aia scenes, for instance), but I don't really mind that much tbh, because what we did get is already pretty cool.

The mall setting and the idea of roaming around to pick your scene for the day is a good enough idea, but I do feel like it gets a bit repetitive at some point, when you only have a few things left to do, and it takes a while to find your marks in it at the start. The added shops are also a cool opportunity for completionists to have some more time to waste, and while I'm not the biggest fan of the whole Maria dress-up game (maybe it feels too disorganized to be able to put everything on her, or maybe the clothes just don't appeal to me? idk), but even then, I can just ignore it entirely if I want, so it's not that much of a big deal.

I'm really curious to see where you're going to go from here, as I assume you won't do any Niji stuff anymore. Anything original or are you going to write fan-VNs? (if you don't know yet or want to take a break, that's also understandable, so don't worry!)

Regardless, this comment is already long enough as it is, so just want to end by saying that I really appreciate seeing your growth as a writer and a dev overall, soooo see you next VN I guess! ^^

Oh also, I just remembered that there was some bugs and typos I met at some point, so here they are (people reading this out of curiosity, go away, I have no more actual things to say, also SPOILER WARNING FOR THE WHOLE VN):

This one happened when going to the Rose farm:

  While running game code:

    File "game/chapters/r/r Farmgirl.rpy", line 955, in script

      if RoseLegend:

    File "game/chapters/r/r Farmgirl.rpy", line 955, in <module>

      if RoseLegend:

NameError: name 'RoseLegend' is not defined

In the fashion show with Reimu, the textbox disappeared every time there was a change in visual (so for example, if something moved, it would disappear until it's done moving, then appear again)

Those are the only 2 bugs I found, rest are typos (some of them might be inside jokes I don't get tho, been a while since I got invested in Niji):

Now me, I have most of my assets invested in real esate (should be "estate"), because real estate always goes up. It's an immutable law.

Internally, I curse. My plan is failing in it's (should be "its") preemptive stages.

Does this Nina... hate you? Because the stuff she's writing... There's no way I'm hiring you after reading this shit. If even if (should be "If even") half of it is true...

Enna kicks off her shoes Then (either "Then" shouldn't be capitalized, or a period is missing before it) she pulls off her athletic socks with her toes, discarding them haphazardly in swinging kicks across the kitchen floor.

It's not my FAULT! These bitches suck at voting! Half of them don't even speak english!("english" should be capitalized)

With her hands, Kotoka connects Meloco and I's genitals. I slide into the dumb plump cunt. Kotoka for her part, slides a slopping wet tongue along her good friends (should be "friend's") clitoris.

Wait, he does? I thought he didn't like me. Every time I join you for weekened (should be "weekend") dinner he's always tutting.

Her voice is high pitched, unlike her usual deeper cadance. (should be "cadence")

Send it's (should be "its") regards?! What's that supposed to mean? If you want to show your regards, you send a letter!

Did you just give Selen Tatsuki alcohol? You know that's a danerous (should be "dangerous) combination, right? She's probably gonna drink it and hurt people!

But in any case, you've got me on your mind cause I'm so dashingly handsome, but you're (shoud be "your") virginal shoujo mind is telling you I'm scum so basically you want to get one over on me while also seeking out reasons to be around me.

Okay, the (I'm assuming it should be "then"?) what's our word?

Correct. But could you see (a) kid wearing it?

Hm. I wonder if its (should be "it's) tied to your illness?

I walk over and squat. Slowly, I lift the hemline. It's a short path to those patterned panties I know and love, but when I flip Millie (should be "Millie's") skirt... I see her taco.

Millie tears at the buttons in her shirt, ripping it apart like superman. ("superman" should be capitalized)

Hey now, isn't horny is ("is" isn't necessary) a dirty word!?

There would be more librarians (if) they didn't require a four year degree.

But as he looks around, there's nobody to cry too (should be "to"). So he wipes his tears and continues over to the paper construction crafts.

Mu (should be "my") elegant assassin lifts her head.

B-but won't that be weird? I mean, we're roommmates (should have 2 Ms, not 3). I don't wanna make things weird.

Pomurin tries to keep her eyes on my eyes, but she's fading the ("the" isn't needed) from the multiplicative orgasms still taking effect.

They didn't know what the (should be "they") brought on the world... (This is when Petra is sick)

We reach the farm house through a steeped dirt driveway only to park in the grass. To the back is (a) vineyard of roses in all colors and stripes.

Mister Ryuugu (should be "Ryugu"), do you take Miss Endou to be your wife, and forever hold, um, in perpetuity?

Irrespective of whether Selen bakes grass to a Snoop Dog (should be "Snoop Dogg") extent, Selen usually has this fermenting in her throat. It's dragon ash.

I beeline towards (the) barred gate. We stare at each other like respective prisoners. (can't remember which Zaion even this is, but it's one of them)

She closes her eyes nodding. (Nothing wrong with the line, but it's said by Reimu while it should be narration, it's on the zombie invasion scene)

Nah, you're (should be "your") competition's all over (This is while playing cards with Rosemi and Pomura)

Hold on, I can cite my sources! Look at ancient egypt! ("egypt" should be capitalized)

Quite (should be "quit") joking around! You don't have to be a tough guy who keeps to himself all the time, you know? Especially when it's hurting you...

You are the most jaded person I've ever met. If you were a color it would be dirty green. You have so much cycnical (should be "cynical") weight against the world, it's impossible that your heart capacitors has (should be "have") lasted so long.

That's part of it, isn't it? People love pickles. Japanese people love pickles. Getting in pickles, sucking on pickles, and (missing a space after the comma) even munching on them as they try and cradle their beer while waiting in this long, but ever shortening line.

Yes, because that kitchen knife is alse (should be "also") folded a thousand times.

Every blackguard has a past, [PLAYERNAME]. You wouldn't understand. I try to (do) good, but I'm haunted by-

Judgement free? You sound like (a) beta bitch. You sound like a bootlicker. You sound like a pussy. You sound like-

Go Ryuugu! (should be "Ryugu") Yeah~! You can do it!

Riku stands on bended knee. (should be either "a bended knee" or "bended knees")

Anywho, why I ("I" is unneeded) don't you get closer? Like you were.

It might be overkill, but songbird's (should be "songbirds") never come at your beckoning. You have to bait them into thinking coming is what they want to do.

When I wake up, the hall is empty. I had (a) pretty pleasant dream though. Enna had turned into a dog and we played fetch, I gave her belly rubs, and we routed some grouse.

Oh, don't tell me you never seen (either "you never saw" or "you've never seen" works) La Boheme.

She blinks. The (should be "Then") just grins and continues punching me. (This is in Selen's fetish play, so is the one afterwards)

I've- I can do you (should be "your") fetish shit or whatever.

But I think it's (an) alright outfit too. Still, maybe too conventional?

Not yet... I was talking (to) Midori on the phone. But I'm all done, so you can use the dial-up now~

And Maria makes a bubble beard and we design a fortress for Sir Laharal (should be "Laharl"), and I cannonball in to disrupt the bubbles, and then bathtime is officially ruined as I've somehow slip my ankle and bump my head.

They overstimulate and fry your coochie nerves and erode your cerebral cortex from the sheer amount of dopamine uptake! I sadly had a n (no space, "an" is fine) aunt who passed away from it...

I dunno. I just work here(.) (Also this is in Elira's tan event)

You know you can't do that to people, right? I mean, I don't even know you. What would you (should be "your") father think? (This is in the scene when Pomura gives you Pomuleaf)

She continues down the main strip (should be "street"). Just where is she headed? (This is when stalking Enna, so is the next one)

What are (you) doing here? You shouldn't be here.

The (should be "then") suddenly, a full grown dog barrels down the hallway. It's loose, a full grown Borzoi wolfhunter, teeth sharp enough to humble pitbulls.

In spite of all the glares, I see someone (I) recognize. (This is when Millie avoids you, so are the 2 next ones)

Oh, hey Millie! Millie, over there! Millie! (The line is said by Millie, but it should be said by MC)

I run up to her. She swirls in surprise, as I slap the basketball loose of it's (should be "its") nettings. It drops to the ground, and I kick it over to her.

Our conversation continues while Nina's eyes flick back and forth. Time to be a good extrovert (and) bring her back in.

But we we're (should be "were") going to do the hypnosis fetish, onii-chan! Not whatever the hell that was!!

And the (should be "then") she leaves the room. (This is also during Finana's fetish play)

Even with three vials... Assuming the solution is ("is" isn't necessary) takes seven steps, that's three to the seventh power. Roughly two thousand two hundred different possible move combinations.

That part about a girlfriend was a lie. I mean, I have a girl that calls me her boifwi, but I'm not sure that means were (should be "we're) together...

But for some reason, I understand what your girlfriend's (should be "girlfriends") see in you. I like you, yes, I think that's true. Yeah.

Oh. Oh... You're (should be "your") skin is bleeding. You're bleeding. A lot. (This is when you're trapped in bushes in the Rose farm, next line is in Rose farm too)

That's it's (should be "its") job! And that's not a good reason to end something's life!!

Okay, sweet. I was thinking about it a lot, and I'm gonna be playing as the googly eye fish guy with the helmet. That's the Ryuguu (should be "Ryugu") family mascot, you know. And even though XO patchwork bear speaks to me, you gotta represent, you know?

Boys! Swarm the bad guys! Girls! Protect me with you (should be "your") life!

I'm stupid!? You're stupid! You're getting earrings and you haven't even pierced you (should be "your") ears yet!!!

Orrrrr~... I can remove the enchantments put on the two of you. (It's said as narration, while Scarle should be the one saying it.)

The city is it's (should be "its") own jungle. Now let's snap to it. (This is during the Rosechu scene)

You're like a little Lovelock(.)

Well, that's it for me! Good luck on whatever you're planning to do next, and congratulations for releasing such a content-full game! ^^

the most relaxingest of asmrs!!!!!

yeeeeee sleepy sleep go zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz vaporeon-simp yandere bf knows his job fr fr

Nice game! Here are the answers to the 4 questions in the description:

  1.  The VN was actually pretty good! It had a good hook and while it took me a while after this initial hook to be fully immersed in it again (probably around chapter 3, kinda zoned out on most of Chapter 2), the story really gets better as it progresses.
  2. So far, I actually quite like how Theodore is written. Vicky is also a pretty good character and her scenes are amongst the highlights of the game (especially at the end of Chapter 4)
  3. I think there isn't really a lot to improve on with the formula you're using. The most important thing in a VN (especially a kinetic one) is its story, and so far it's definitely building up to something great.
  4. HOW COULD I NOT WITH THAT CLIFFHANGER AAAAA (that means yes ^^)
