Wow, this game is impressive for a 48-hour project! The creature design and the ability to customize it are fantastic, reminiscent of Spore with a cool, grotesque twist. The visuals are sick and the mechanics, like changing eyes, are a standout feature. Some found the first-person combat tricky, and a few improvements could be made to visual feedback and speed. Overall, it's a creative and enjoyable experience with a unique style.
This game is really impressive! The art is gorgeous and the atmosphere is incredibly cozy. I initially struggled to get into the flow, probably because I haven’t played many MMORPGs, but once I understood the chill, laid-back nature of the game, I enjoyed building and decorating. More variety in decorations and maybe adding some quests or a bit more story for the NPCs could enhance the experience. The game is very well put together for a jam project, with great visuals and music. It definitely has the potential to become something really cool if you keep developing it!
Grind Focus: I really enjoyed the grind aspect of the game, but a bit more guidance and some improvements in the combat mechanics would make it even better.
Visuals and Guidance: The graphics and music were great, but there were moments where I wasn't sure where to go. Also, some of the fonts were hard to read.
Weapon Balance: I didn't see much difference between the two weapons, so I ended up focusing on upgrading just one. It would be nice to have changes that encourage using both weapons in different situations.
Combat Balance: There are some imbalances in combat; enemies respawn too quickly. I think some improvements in enemy placement and attack speed could help.
Music and Atmosphere: I liked the music and atmosphere overall, but the repetitive music in some areas started to get annoying.
Camera Effects: I would have appreciated more feedback when taking damage. Adding effects like camera shake could make the combat experience more satisfying.
Nice Job!
