these girlies are so cute. i love your art style. thank you!

damn thats a huge improvement in such a small time span. and placing 11th in graphics is massive given how competitive the category was. you should totally be proud of what you've made.

this was my first jam and i joined half way so i'm extremely giddy over 9th. normally i'm anxious about putting myself out there like this but im really thankful i pushed through that. plus with the kinda unorthodox nature of my project it feels so great to get the affirmation i'm doing something right :p

do you have any plans for your next jam? i think i'm gonna take a few weeks to chill before i look at doing another lmao

thank you so much that's so sweet. i'm really happy with the result. congrats on your game as well it was a really lovely experience and i'm still not over the animation <3

haha thank you, made it to 20 eventually! really appreciate your words.

pretty much exactly my project. weird/pretty visuals mixed with confessional prose. wish i could check out your project, sounds very up my alley (and similar to my game lol), but i'm on mac :/

here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2970674

your game was really interesting. took a sec to understand but once i did i was captivated. thanks for sharing it!

intro was cool and i love casual exploration type games. having a skip intro button for subsequent attempts would definitely help replayability. also the king sprite looks great. thanks for sharing!

really impressive game for the time period. as others have said the controls can be a bit awkward but otherwise this is fantastically put together. the storm/wind mechanic was also really fun to play around with. visually the game is great but in several sections there's a lot of empty screen space that if nothing else could use a prettier background. otherwise again amazing work and thank you for sharing!!

loved the aesthetic and especially the sound design. gameplay kinda felt like a reverse bullet hell which is a really unique concept. great work!

surprised how few ratings this has! music and art are excellent and cutscene at the start was a very welcome surprise. progression of the gameplay loop was interesting and having multiple endings is always fun. definitely need a volume button though lol and if you work on this in future i think it would be cool for speedrunning to add a scoreboard to track how fast you can get to each ending. great work and thanks for sharing!

took a sec to understand the movement, but once i did it was super cool. the level was challenging but still felt fair which is a hard balance to find. also the music was so evil lmao. awesome game and thanks for sharing!

cute slasher! i like the environments and the style, biggest suggestion is i wish i had a shield or a dodge button or something since i struggled with how much the slimes stick to you. otherwise great work and thank you for sharing!

really really liked this. characters and their dialogue are super cute as well as the visuals. especially loved the look of the tower. when i have more time i definitely wanna come back and see what happens if i let the timer tick to zero. thanks for sharing!

thanks for showcasing my work! i enjoyed the commentary and appreciate the feedback :)

this was cool, the character was really cute :3 weirdly it made me feel like i was playing 'the floor is lava' lol. i think visually it would be interesting if instead of the cooldown bar the character themself changed colour. also i ran into a bug a few times where i think if i was moving as i respawned i'd get locked in the storm and have to restart. otherwise the music and animations have great personality and the core mechanic is cute too. thanks for sharing!

mel's tracks are so pretty i'm really pleased with how the atmosphere turned out. i'm actually already planning on adding to the stories of each photo after the voting period has finished. would you mind clarifying what you mean about it going into something else? also i'm glad you didn't find the writing cringey lmao. thank you the feedback!

thank you! the writing is defs my fav part of this project

thank you :)

this is excellent. definitely my fav project i've played so far. the world totally draws you in and the weird png visuals sit right between unsettling and unusually calming? the vague breadcrumbs of narrative are so interesting too. what you've done with such a simple premise is really impressive. congrats on ur project and thank you for sharing it!

super cute and really well put together. even the little bits of exposition were good. the one thing i struggled with was that sometimes the calm patched would keep disappearing while i was catching a fish, so i'd lose them at the last second lol. but i'd love a full version of this with more upgrades and enemies. great work and thanks for sharing!

exploration element was fun and great sound design. my only feedback is i'd love more dialogue/lore building to get to know the world and characters and uncover more of the mystery. congrats on ur submission!

haha always happy to have a chance to show off my cat. i was really happy with the writing in this project so its great to hear it hit for you. thanks for playing!

thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)

thanks, same for you! the visuals and especially enemy design in seven hours are awesome.

thank you! between the visuals and awesome music by mel i was really happy with how the atmosphere turned out.

thank you!

this was really lovely. writing was great and i really like the character designs. i only wish i could make it fullscreen so the text was easier to read :) and maybe also that the timer paused when ur reading so it feels less rushed. thanks for sharing this <3

thanks so much!

had fun trying to work out the second ending, though it took me a while to realise what i had to do. art style is really cute too. thanks!

thanks, i'm happy you enjoyed it :) your game was great too!

your animation is awesome. intro cutscene audio sets the stage perfectly. also the choice to only have two dialogue options works really well. thanks for sharing!

fun gameplay loop and the premise is so cute. also wow the art.  i'd love if the sea brought in upgrade items that make you quicker or like a snorkel to let you survive just a little deeper. thanks!

i thought this was really pretty, i love ambient/walking sim games. the artstyle and the way you put the world together make me feel like im in the og mlp cartoon. also if you update this in future i think it would be cool to add paths between some of the locations.  and i'd love more places to explore. thanks for sharing!

today i released my second horror visual novel, PETRICHOR!

playtime of 60 mins, 2 endings ,and plenty of secrets to find :)

play it here!

love love love the atmosphere. wanted to find a way into the tunnel at the end so bad. i wanna see more!!!

thank you so much for playing and featuring my game! i'm glad you enjoyed it and i really appreciate the feedback.

the other three endings are just over double the length of the one you reached and might help to flesh out the story. or maybe they'd just leave you with more questions :)

thanks again.
