Oh hey, is that Ashby?? I haven't heard from you since college!! I hope you're doing well my friend. Missing y'all back in Tennessee!

@JankyWeber: Do the embedded browser games work for you? Can you play games in your browser?

Let me look into it and get back to you. I don't currently support that system.

Thank you for playing!!

Loved it!! I won with a Grinning Maw build.

Hey!! Thank you so much for playing. There isn't a save feature yet, but we really should add one!

Cookie Wars was also rewarded a Community Choice award!

Luna Bay was also rewarded a Community Choice award!

Goodbye to Wonderland was also rewarded a Community Choice award!

Goodbye to Wonderland was rewarded Excellence in Appeal for Hype Jam 4!! Keep up the great work.

Luna Bay was rewarded Excellence in Conveyance!

ROBOTS BECOME HUMANS was rewarded the honorable mention for Excellence in Conveyance! Great work, y'all.

Drift Raptor was rewarded Honorable Mentions in Excellence in Appeal AND Judge's Choice. It also won Community Choice!

Thank you for reporting this! It might not work in some browsers. What browser are you using?

I build all my games in Frog Tactics, a private game engine I've been building up for years. This is my tenth tactics rpg I built using it!!

The ai uses influence maps to identify where to throw bombs.

Hey! Thank you for reporting your issue. Each crop requires different care to grow. The ottermelons are the slowest to grow, taking 8(!) growths to finally harvest. You just have to be patient with them.

That said, we're probably not doing enough to tutorialize that. We'll take a note to teach the players more about what makes each crop special!!

Jake did the music for us!! Follow him here: https://twitter.com/submergedtapes

Thanks for reporting this bug! As of v1.1.0, a unit will now die if it is pushed off the map.

The original intended behavior was that units would never be pushed off the map, and instead collide with the edge of the map. But isn't it way more fun to yeet your enemies off into space??

Hey, thanks for reporting this bug!! As of v1.1.0, this has been patched. Please enjoy yeeting the enemies off the stage!

(1 edit)

Thanks for reporting this bug!! As of v1.1.0, it has been fixed it so units now die when pushed off the map.

The original intended behavior was that units would never be pushed off the map, that they'd collide with the edge of the map. But isn't it way cooler to yeet your enemies off the map??

Slick as butter. Keep up the great work!

No worries at all! I have fixed and patched the build to crisply render on Firefox as well. I want it to work on all the browsers! Thanks again for the bug report.

Ah! Thanks for the report. I suspect this is a browser issue. What browser you on?

What's in the hole?? Can't wait for the next chapter!!!

Absolutely gorgeous aesthetic!!

Move over Metroid Dread, Enedee beat you to it.

Very very clever design. I am very impressed with the level of polish for a 48 hour jam game!

Loved the art; so much character!

Aw, sweet wholesome ending. Adorable.

Very well done! I liked the level select screen's little window into the next level. It took me a while on Level 3 to figure out how to equip the upgrades from storage, but I got there eventually. The enemy encounters were well designed. Some mechanics were puzzling to figure out, but I got there eventually.

A tight turn-based rpg!

Thank you for reporting this! Will fix in later build.

Yo, I'm 27. Age has nothing to do with the path into gamedev; you can start down it at any age!

Really enjoyed the variety of the enemies! My favorite was Satan.

I'll be making more turn-based strategy games soon, and a progression system is absolutely on the wishlist!
