well your vampirism being revealed to the crew something that was used as an empty threat, if you reveal a secret, though it probably wouldn't change anything considering I feel like it isn't too hard to notice how pale trevor is, and how he attacks with bats, and stuff like that. clearly jay knows, considering he sells blood to trevor when they first meet, and pazu would be able to figure it out due to being a lie detector basically. and morrigan brought you onto the ship and kicking you out would make it look like he made a mistake, and he seems like a prideful sort, and one who doesn't like to admit his mistakes easily. anyways, perhaps that threat could be made good on, to which none of the characters would particularly care, but could prompt trevor to talk about their past? just an idea.
would be cool if there was a route where you get turned into something nonhuman, like there are a lot of fantasy creatures in this world, it seems. and being able to be turned into like a demon for example, or something else, could be fun. IMO. would probably be a good amount of work, but IMO would be worth it.
yeah i agree, while AI can be a useful thing for noobs, you gotta actually start trying, especially if you are a dev who doesn't allow people to play your game unless you give them money (skycorp doesn't allow you to play much of it unless you pay them money per month. and they've been taking their time with their work, i'll say.) so them using AI now, not a surprise to me, but a bit of a disapointment. like come on, you are pretty experienced skycorp, you should try to improve yourself and learn some new useful skills. AI is very much just a crutch, and doesn't really fit a jam that's about creativity, it's like if at a spelling bee you were allowed to let chat gpt spell for you. kinda just..defeats some of the fun of it. that is just my opinion though.
i can live without images more than a bit of the time, i've played more than a couple of html games with little to sparse images in them. i was more so interested in seeing where it leads. like after being turned into a donkey, will it be game over? or will you be able to continue, despite your changes?
What rings are currently in the game, if more than just the speed one? if rings aren't mostly implemented, one idea i have for rings are some that are based on aspects of some of the monsters, like for example, a ring of the rabbit would give you increased jump height (or perhaps even more jumps) but would transform you into a rabbit, but not fully in mind. which'd mean you likely would have a tougher time against any rabbit enemies, which'd likely be able to fully curse you very quickly, but you'd still have the benefit of the rings. it'd be a trade off sorta thing, and the other enemies would also have rings that do similar downsides, and upsides more fitting to whatever the enemy is.
wait re:strain is made by the same team as mira co rescue? or at the very least they collobarate with each other? that's quite neat. either way, I am glad to hear from you, and even if it is a small update, any update is fine, because it means the game is not forgotten, which means even if it takes time, it will eventually be finished. and that is the main thing that matters. at least to me.
it's also a thing that happened recently where the credit card companies were throwing a tantrum over 18 stuff and refused to let people buy them, like iirc on patreon, dlsite (a japanese site with adult games on it), and stuff. which i think might be the reason why credit cards aren't available for itch anymore, but I may be wrong.
