Hard but real fun. An expanded version of this for a few dollars on Steam would be cool

interesting concept, but it lacks what it needs to be mechanically interesting. I think if you made it endless that could cause some interesting problems.

The problem is that there is no way to possible lose if playing competently. You have four ghosts which means that wherever Pac-Man goes you can easily block all of his exits (especially because he is so slow) and send the last ghost to catch him. If his AI was improved this problem might possibly be solved.

very cool, I wish Mario didn't get confused and repeatedly jump into a wall so I could play the rest

Hey cool mine is also about playing as a Mario(ish) enemy, except mine plays differently.

super star Waluigi = new fear unlocked

Very fun(ny)! I only wish that the grabbing could be done with a mouse (but my game has the exact same problem so fair enough)

humorous as this is, you realize it's functionally no different, right? I mean if you attached the camera to the pipes instead of the bird it would be flappy bird but with reversed gravity.

that's not what a role is. (I'm pretty sure I've seen this game several times before, too)

the description says heroines but in the gif there they all appear to be male

very cool, but maybe add some more checkpoints in that last part? Having less doesn't make it any harder, it just makes it take longer.

Make a full game and take my money

I find this concept to be very interesting! I do have some suggestions though, if you plan on continuing the project after the jam. For one, I don't see the point of making the player run through the level multiple times. If they can beat it at the end, they surely can beat it earlier on, so I would suggest only having one run through. I think a remove tower button should be added. This would cause problems, because the player could delete them before running through, but you could solve this by having the player place towers before the attack, then losing control afterwards. Another thing, I wasn't sure what the game was testing of me when I ran through. It felt like it was strategic because I had to carefully place my towers beforehand, but I also could just use skill to get past anyway (and often needed to, but those times were less difficult). I think having the run through be as basic as it is doesn't allow for it to promote strategy or skill properly. Some more mechanics that encourage one of the options you intend would be a good addition. If you want strategy, then maybe decrease the player's health and include things only the player can take advantage of such as cover. If you want skill, maybe give the player a dodge or something and increase the towers' threat while still leaving it possible to get past unscathed. It's possible that some of these things were addressed later in the game though. I hope I didn't just tell you to do something you already did. Anyways, good job on the game!

no it isn't??

That cover picture is gold

My problem is the controls. Pressing up doesn't move me up, which is difficult to adjust to.

The art is great and the retreat mechanic is very interesting

very cool, but could use a tutorial or something

that mermaid though O_O

Thos physics feel good or my name isn't Rodrigo. It isn't Rodrigo either way but my point still stands.

cool! but how do you win? I didn't catch even though I was fiving quite a bit

It was really fun once I realized that the best strategy was total chaos

cool, but the difficulty curve stops pretty quickly

sadly the role reversal has only decreased the complexity of the game

So cool! That one puzzle did not need the timer though, so introducing it just in that one seems a bit pointless. Otherwise this was flawless

yeah same what was the timer even for lol

full game. now. please

Okay cool you both did full reviews for eachother

Nice! I feel the dialogue got kind of repetitive though until the end

Dang I appreciate the commitment for that review

Very cool! I feel some more mechanics could give this a lot of depth

ye

I'll pay 20$ for a full game

Absolute masterpiece

hope y'all enjoy. This is my first real project.
