Food generation continues when idle.

Whatever it was, I am guessing it happened at around the same time as itch.io went down and probably won't be repeated.

Good fun.

I played for considerably longer than I wanted to due to someone's comment, though.

Faster food generation would have been nice.

I was even thinking that this could be part 2 of an incremental trilogy.

First a factory generating food. Once it hits the speed at which it is generated in this game, you can switch to here. And then at 10k points or some other milestone part 3 begins: Chubby Boy Liposuction Clinic.

Sometimes a second enemy will come into range before the first enemy is defeated. This causes the tower to target the new enemy, which is really the only glitch in the game.

Indeed. Not quite 1634, but considerably higher than my original attempt.

I think the total is lower than you calculated because the 2nd attack from the enemy is not at 122x2 HP, but somewhat earlier.

Is it intentional that Mastery only increases with manual farming, not employee?

I just noticed this in the Devlog notes.

Those instructions worked perfectly, thanks. Good to know.

So everything that should be working is working...almost!

A few little problems with Masteries and crop names.

Is it intentional that Mastery only increases with manual farming, not employee?

Both Wheat and Cucumber are called Wheat.

Cotton is called Cucumber.

As shown in this picture:

Also on the farming page, when you hover the mouse over each crop picture, the word 'potato' appears. Tomato says 'tomato' but everything else says 'potato'.

Same old issue after a refresh - unplayable on Edge. I will now try the .exe.

Same issues on the  .exe except it is playable after a restart.

I did find one new glitch though, one of those oddities that I like finding in games.

Go to the Barn and click repeatedly on the sell button.  Level number will increase by your current base amount every click, money will increase (by an amount I assume is related to how much farming has been auto done between each click) the commas in your Money amount will vanish and the whole game will slow down.

Upon a restart, the level number returns to what it was but the new money amount remains.

However, clicking any 'Sell' button now increases your level by that same amount and every reset returns your level to that same base amount.

I reset and tried to make the glitch happen again but couldn't. I had almost given up, closed and restarted the game and my level was back at my old base-level number from before the profile reset.

Something odd going on but I can't repeat it. It is worth mentioning that my PC is old and not very good or fast. I always seem to have issues that devs cannot repeat and they all seem very interested in how my Twilight Zone PC will react to various updates.

If my glitches don't occur on yours or anyone else's end, I wouldn't worry too much. My PC operates outside of normal space and time. I would barely raise an eyebrow if I awoke tomorrow morning and found that it had become a sudoku-playing yo-yo .

The game still doesn't work on my Edge browser with the Itch account, but works on my Firefox with no account.

I reset the game as instructed and the game looked to be running properly, but when I hit what should have been level 1, I stayed at level 0 and the exp needed for my next level is 262710, which I guess is what it was at when I reset.

So I farmed my way to that amount of exp and when I hit it my level jumped to 664 with a normal amount of exp needed for the next level.

But the buildings are still locked.

I closed and reopened the game and the buildings were unlocked.

The employees are a bit of a nightmare. They keep unassigning or reassigning themselves to other products. I assigned them all to their own product but many were not being farmed, so I returned to the employee menu and some were not assigned, some were assigned to the same product.

It would be nice if I could unassign a worker so that they are not farming anything, No matter how many times I try to change what they are farming, no more than five items can be farmed at one time. Many times I will assign something and upon reopening it, it will be assigned to potato or nothing.

Milk and Cow workers still don't do anything.

OK, not forever.

Without extra features or cheats, I think this is pretty much the highest score possible.

The much needed extra features would stop this being a minimalist game, but I still had fun.

The only error I found is that every time a new enemy comes within range, the tower will switch to that enemy rather then killing the one it was originally shooting.

I think that if I only upgraded Attack Speed and nothing else I could maybe keep playing forever.

Maybe you are aware of this, maybe not, but assuming there was an update, it caused the game to break. The Play button can be pushed and it fades in colour so I know it has been pushed, but nothing happens. The rather pointless Quit button does nothing once Play has been pressed. Upon a reload the Quit button can be pushed, but unsurprisingly it doesn't do anything other than break both buttons, so not entirely useless :P

EDIT: Strangely enough it works on my other browser on which I don't have an itch account and the game opens in a new 'embed' window. I use Edge, but the other one which works is Firefox.

EDIT2: I bought all the staff. The first three assigned work normally, the other nine are constantly completing the farming without the % bar filling up. I have 3500 Grapes and the Count is increasing constantly at about 100K a second.

EDIT3: The staff can be assigned to the Chicken and Cow, but they don't automate production. Also, the produce that is grown is shown in a large list where you need to scroll down for the final few crops. The Farm section is in a tiny window with only space for one product, so even though there are only two things there - Eggs and Milk - you need to scroll up and down to access each one.

EDIT4: After a profile reset, the buildings can't be bought, so I can't test any of the related bugs. Also, the exp needed for the next level remains the same as it was before the profile reset. And the mastery level remains the same though the count needed for the next level does reset.

Possibly a higher level is needed to unlock buying the buildings, but I now need 22 million exp to reach level 1, so I won't be trying.

EDIT4.1: After restarting the game, my level points had been applied so buildings were available. Same issues.

EDIT5: Unrelated to the game. I was looking at your WHO WE ARE section and noticed that you used the word 'gull.' Are you sure that's the word you meant to use? 'Gall,' maybe?

EDIT6:  I downloaded the game to see how it compares to the browser version. Same issues. I made a gif to show the EDIT2 issue.

EDIT7: Intentional or not? Applying multiple employees to one product speeds up production.

So lots for you guys to figure out. Have fun ;)

A hard reset button would be helpful to test out new features. Like I am now level 53, but my exp numbers remain massive and make no sense. I wonder if it would work correctly if I were to start over.

Obviously this is a work in progress. I love TD games and as nice as it is to build an impenetrable stronghold, I don't expect to build one before the first wave ends.

Also, I expect the game to keep working at the end of the first wave!

Bean plots don't seem to do anything and I have no idea what strongholds do.

I hope to see an update for this one too ;)

Cool. I've followed you and I'll check back when my feed tells me that the game is updated. Keep up the good work :)

It looks like the game has potential, but it also doesn't seem to work very well.

All I can do is buy, farm and sell produce. I can buy the buildings and staff, but none of those seem to do anything other than exist.

Also, it seems that the most efficient thing to do is buy, farm then sell potatoes over and over until you can buy  a lot of grapes and then to the same until you are bored of that. I got to 12,500 grapes which earns me $10 million per tick before deciding to write this message.

Maybe the problem is to do with my level not increasing. I have more than enough points to move to level two, but it never happens. Currently I am at 930946/19845 (Level 1).

Profile is an empty page, Orders doesn't do anything, Settings is empty. Each bought member of staff when clicked on also bring up an empty page.

Ooga booga...

A shadow?

The thing with the upgrade cost isn't so much that I REALLY need to see how much it costs, but more that all three numbers - 50, 20, 5 - appear in the same place. If the numbers are to appear, they should at least be separated from each other.

I noticed that the 1 wood forests would eventually vanish, but the 2 wood forests seemed to be permanent as do the other resources. Is this the case or did I not click on the mines enough?

I am guessing that settlements must be at least 4 squares away from another one. It would be nice if the amount was stated somewhere, maybe in a future tutorial.

I forgot to follow you, I'll do it now so that I am aware when you post an update. I think that my level 5000 account can do with a little rest in the meantime ;)

It would be nice if there was more to do other than get resources and build settlements.

A few little errors I have found so far:

The past tense of 'cut' is 'cut', not 'cutted' Alternatively it could say, 'The wood is depleted'.

When you discover salt on an empty square, an 'empty' icon appears which has no picture, on a white background.

Once you max out a settlement, you can upgrade it further. Doing so will increase the gold earned per click with seemingly no limit. But the icon will change to one of the other icons on the map. Eventually, after upgrading a lot, the 'empty' icon with no picture is there again, but this time with a green background.

So my settlement that shows a settlement icon makes 8 gold per click. My settlement with the 'empty' icon that I upgraded a lot makes 348 per click. Once you stop upgrading a settlement past the maximum and click somewhere else, it cannot be upgraded again.

Also, it would be nice to see how much each settlement upgrade costs. Currently, all the numbers appear at the same place. It would be nice if it showed the amount with each icon, so 50 Gold, 20 Lumber, 5 Stone all separate and visible.

Happy to help, as always :)

I noticed that when upgrading my Blacksmith, I went into negative numbers with coal. After a restart which didn't save my progress, I clicked repeatedly to find out at what point it allows me to buy the upgrade. The price was 4.9k Coal and when it let me buy it, I was left with -0.674k Coal. No idea if this always happens at around 14% under the selling price. Probably be easier for you to figure that one out.

Good fun incremental game. There is definitely room for growth too, maybe a prestige system.

The archer could put his new-found skills to fighting things that bite back. The magician must get pretty bored generating targets all day, maybe he could have a side hustle selling used arrows or something to generate more income.

And something that was possibly accidentally overlooked is that the last two talents - Afterimage and Higher Dimension - are the only two skills that don't come with a level number.

One last thing that may benefit people like me who have a dinosaur of a PC, is the ability to turn off all the arrows. I know they are there and although it may defeat the purpose to have a game about shooting arrows with no arrows, it would maybe speed up my game and make it possible to max out everything before my PC explodes.

EDIT: I just had an idea as I see my archer stop shooting every few seconds as he destroys all the targets around the same time and needs to wait for a new one to generate.

Maybe a second column of targets could be added that could be hit when there are no others to get.

On top of that there could be a pierce ability where arrows have a chance to go through the first target and hit the second, albeit with reduced power.

Then again, this reduced power could be increased with another skill.

Oh, I'm sure that I and all the other players could come up with new ideas all day long, but I'll leave you to do what you've begun so brilliantly :)

My VPN stopped working so I can only message here.

The current final enemy never dies. Its HP just goes into minus numbers, and also its name doesn't change. It still says King Crab, or at least it does for me. This could be due to the fact that I was already past the final page and the enemy was automatically being fought without ever actually having come across it.

As useful as this would make the game, it then becomes a competition of who can keep their PC on for the longest. Personally, I feel that an auto restart would be bad for the game. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Very nice game you've got going here.

I won't suggest things that appear in countless other games of the genre, but one thing that I think could be changed is (and I could be wrong) that the mines don't operate at the same speed as the game multiplier, I think they always run at x1.0 speed.

In the Silver Mine, when a number goes above 100,000, it vanishes completely.

Please let me know where you get your LSD. It is obviously of the highest quality.

OK. I didn't reset my game so I don't know if the lumber reaching infinity issue has been fixed.

I noticed that you made most of the numbers consistently units, k, mil, but bil mght be a useful addition as 10 Energy Multiplier costs over 2 bil for me. Maybe even ditch Mil and Bil for M and B. Most gamers understand the abbreviation. I would also suggest less (if any) decimal places. My Energy Multiplier actually costs 2496.917545 mil. 2497 would be fine in my humble opinion! Also, the Total Energy Per Sec hasn't been changed to mil and still shows as k despite being in the mils.

Soldiers have the same issue that you can keep buying them after they are maxed. It would be nice if the new limit of 20 could not be exceeded.

I know that I should play it from the beginning, but it's hard to throw away my 20 mil energy per sec without potions.

I find that the things I do in the first minute or so of playing are saved. So I log on, upgrade as much as I can and then leave. I return and do the same, over and over until I have spent all my energy. I have got into the habit of getting some idle gains by switching tabs before closing the tab. I don't know if it helps, but I do it anyway.

I just paid more attention to your dev name lol. That's what she typo'd.

OK. I played this all night and pretty much completed it apart from maxing out 'Buy Special' and 'Gain Multi.'

It is a fun incremental that looks a bit confusing at first glance but quickly makes sense and is enjoyable if you like this genre of game.

I don't get the point of the Emeralds and Sapphires. They unlock some things in the Golden Tree but do they have a passive benefit? If they do, it should be mentioned somewhere. If they don't then giving them Special merge towers is also pointless and makes gaining levels for the useful Special Towers more difficult.

I also don't quite understand the math of the special towers. My Sapphire Tower is at x2.62e343 and my passive Sapphire gain is at 90k and increasing at about 10 per second. Do these numbers relate to each other at all?

I was expecting an Emerald Tree and Sapphire Tree to appear on the left of the Golden Tree where there is space in the top left of the screen.

Also, what does the Recursion tower do, and will GB/s come in an update?

And lastly, there are two '???' listed after the Recursion tower. Are these placeholders or have I missed something?

I have just noticed that with Base Rank maxing at 9500 and Max Height being 100, the main tower will never get to 9101 unless there is an update in the works, not that I will actually hit 9101 before the end of the century.

(1 edit)

What time do your updates usually come? We are obviously in different time zones as it is after 7pm here!

EDIT: Just noticed on your main itch page. It is only 6am in Arkansas! Good morning ;)

Apart from (obviously) including the lewd scenes, I would suggest making it clear in the shop conversations whether the customer is buying or selling. Just the word 'sell' added to the sentence isn't really enough especially when paying more attention to the woman than what they are saying (real world problems). I sold quite a few items at half price because I thought I was offering half the value to buy them.

Also, varying the text in the lewd scenes when they are added and having the descriptions match the NPCs.

There is game potential here though and a constant stream of both income and sex is never a bad thing, real world or game.

Infinity is now too hard for me to aim for. It also doesn't help that the third upgrade is no longer for sale :'(

Any clicker game where the cost of each item never increases is quickly beaten. Though I get the feeling that this game was made due to personal experiences of the dev rather than trying to make a masterpiece.

Page 110.

My pet hate.

Your instead of you're!

Happy to help. I'll keep you posted about oddities ;)

I use Edge , but my PC is a bit of a dinosaur. All devs on itch seem to be full of questions for me about how games react on my PC. It seems to be a sort of Twilight Zone machine that does things that other PCs don't.

I left the game running for a few hours while I went to work with an autoclicker levelling up the Energy multiplier. When I tried to play the game after that I had ridiculous slowdown. So much so that I had to close the browser, which didn't happen. So I opened Task Manager which took another 10 minutes to open and even once Edge was closed it took another 10 minutes for my PC to be operating properly.

I tried again today and had the same issue,  leaving the game running for less time but doing the same thing. Both times I restarted on Voidweaver.

Finally, earlier I played again and this time just clicked manually through to the end of the game and when I restarted, I was at the Deer.

I have just reopened the game as I write this message and the game is at the deer again, but my stats seem to be the same. Unfortunately my lumber is at NaN, which seems a bit odd as I only earned 342k while idle, so infinity must be rather low on your game. Also, I am no longer earning gold or food from battles. All fights are only giving me items.

The tooltip for Lumber says that the price will increase by 25G each purchase. It

doesn't. The price is always 100G.

I also think that Swift Potions are way too OP. Getting items is easy, so getting free pages is easy. Halve price pages may be better for swift potions, unless your intention is to make it easy for anyone to get to the end of the story very quickly.

Max Soldiers is 8. Well, you can buy more but the stats don't increase, though your population is lowered.

I just clicked through to page 300 and refreshed the game. The pictures are before and after the refresh.

Though I am earning gold and food again, but my lumber is still at NaN.

Is there any way to save progress? No matter how much I play, every time I reopen the game or refresh the page I am at page 47 in the story and the picture of the Voidweaver. It is, of course, possible that the Voidweaver's skill is similar to the big alien thing in Edge of Tomorrow, but I assume that there is a more technical reason.

Automation does not automate taps, it automates purchases.

I figured out what everything did eventually, but on the first run I thought that the game was woefully incomplete. I almost gave up, but then I hit the top and did what any good Sisyphus does.

I started the game earlier and just got to the end of the current story. Clicking a few extra pages gave a request to join the Discord, but the link has expired.

I guess it might be an idea to lock further pages from advancement until the story has been written. I have just used a load of swift potions and got to what seems to be the end of the story. I guess that I may have ruined my game now by clicking my way to an empty end.

I also think that there should be consistancy with the numbering.

My shop and town costs show the full number.

Auto and per/sec energy as well as attack costs are in k.

Energy multiplier, Gold/s and Defense and Health costs are in mil.

I think all numbers should progress from basic to k to mil and beyond.

And a new discord link would be good ;)
