no way! someone actually went and read it! That's awesome!

I was pretty sure I made it too illegible for anyone to read, but I guess not

GO play this game! MORE TEETH = MORE MONEY!!!

Egg

Hi, thank you so much for the feedback!

On the topic of theme implementation though, we interpreted "it's spreading" in 2 ways.

1. The virus spreading through your device and *Spoiler warning* 2. You spreading the actual virus (Dave) through your own device by defeating the computers defenses

It depends on the moment, if everyone watching is enjoying it and I am not having an awful time, then maybe I'll be able to finish the game. But if it drags on, and we're getting bored (and people are getting annoying I am playing 1 game for too long) well then I'll probably cut it short.

(1 edit)

There is not, but there's a chance that the game will be cut short if it takes too long. I think under 30 minutes is somewhat safe, but after that it becomes iffy

gore (including blood) is allowed, as long as it's not so realistic that I'll get demonitized on youtube.

Hi, I have a pretty decent pc (rtx 3060, ryzen 3700x, ssd) so I can probably run most games, also the game does not need to be playable in browser, although if you're making a simple 2d game (which from your first question I am guessing you're not) it would be preferable.

oh no.....

yeah, that is indeed a glitch, I am still bothered about it but sadly enough the only way to fix it is to hard code it into the game, and I just can't be asked to do that.

Thanks, I guess spending 2 days straight writing payed off :)

well thank you :)

I also wanted to implement a way to script the answer line, but sadly enough, in the chaos/stress of getting the game done before the deadline, I completely forgot.

well you don't have to of course, but we tried to make it interesting by having unique lines for every answer and multiple ways to get to a certain path

I really wanted the game to have it (especially after hearing every line a thousand times myself) but I forgot to ask benbonk to code it in time, because the last couple hours we were just stressing, trying to make the game function and couldn't be bothered adding something new

We still have no idea why that happens, inside unity there is never any delay but every time we build it there is a ton of delay between questions, even though it makes more sense if it was the other way around.

thx, btw there are still a ton of bugs and so you won't be able to complete all intended routes, just so you know :)

it is, but it's also fixed in the post jam version, which will come out soon

Thank you very much, I just wish we would've been able to get all the bugs out before the deadline, because then it would've probably been a solid game, but with the bugs only like half the content was actually available

we are working on fixing that bug (and I think we might have already fixed it), the post jam version will hopefully come out soo

I completely understand, we are currently working on a post jam, bug free version, so once that's done I'd love for you to play it, but until then you hav to judge on what we delivered within the 3 days, and sadly enough that's not a lot

Hey snug, it's been a while :)

There is more content but it's "hidden" behind a layer of bugs (you can't actually reach it, the game is simply broken)

Thanks :

in total I recorded 86 clips for the game, but sadly enough do to all the bugs I don't think even half of that got played, so look forward to the post jam version ;)

yeah, there are a ton of bugs, we plan on fixing them in a post jam version

there should've been but it's kinda broken

well there should be.. but they kinda broke.

There are actually 4 to 5 different paths you can follow if you answer certain questions wrong, but in the end it all kinda broke

sorry that's my fault, I make a lot of spelling mistakes

uhm... it's 86!!

lol I didn't even know it was that many, and those are the clips that are played btw, each clip can have multiple sentences to entire paragraphs.

I'll count :)

oh no, that's actually really bothering me...

lol, and just to be clear the question was: "where do WE live" not "where do YOU live"

no, that's a bug, I expect that there are still more to be found, but that's a bug we now know about

Almost done writing the script, then I need to record it, edit the audio, edit the video, render it, put it in premiere, etc..

I'm currently aiming for thursday (since wednesday seems out of the question)

yes exactly, I will make the results public after the premiering of the "best games of the jam" video.
So you'll have to wait a couple of days (I'm working really hard on it, and I hope I can get it out by wednesday or thursday)

really :o

I completely missed that :)

This game sadly enough doesn't run on my computer, so I won't rate it.

I am sorry

This is way better than I expected from a game with just a banana as cover art :)

Well done, I'm impressed!
