I would prefer it if the Dev explicitly stated if its a Harem game or not. That way I can be sure of myself. I dont want to spend hours, or even days, playing an AVN only to find out my assumption was incorrect and now I have to start all over again.

I enjoyed this update. Here's some feedback:
Pros: Some good Character development for some of the girls that haven't been getting much attention. I especially liked Esthers scene with Colby, she forced him onto his backfoot easily. I think some of the girls need to be nicer to Cecilia though, she's trying to help and they are dissing her hard.
Cons: There aren't many choices to make in this update. Just the lewd with Fiona. Also not much difference in regards to my choices leading up to this point, meaning that in one of my games I have rejected all romantic advances from all the girls but I only saw one or two lines regarding that choice.
What I would like to see: Choices should have consequences. In my non-harem/Fiona only game I would like to see growing division and discontent. Sue should be getting more desperate for approval, Tracy more dejected at being rejected, etc.
I know these things take more work, its just my two cents.
Ill give it some time, see if Itch comes through for us.
I prefer to keep Discord for personal use or for gaming with friends.
If Itch messes around for too long though I may decide to take you up on that offer. If thats the case: Do you have a Discord server for this game? I cant see a link to any server.
This AVN is very pretty but also very shallow. Choices dont matter and neither do success or failure. I deliberately failed the tests and lost the first arena battle. Didnt matter, dialogue and story continued on as if I had won/succeeded….
Poor story telling right there.
Also a lot of bad English. It’s a Russian Dev I think but still they need someone to read through it all for them to correct the grammar mistakes and missing words. Also letters that aren’t capitalized. lIKE tHIS!
I skipped the only lewd scene this AVN offered because who the fuck would fuck a girl he doesn’t know when she just broke into his bedroom uninvited in the middle of the night…? Every man knows: you don’t stick your dick in crazy…
I give this 1 star.
Yay, Crimson High content! It was nice to see Aki get a little more attention, she deserves it. The scene with Aki and Yui was scorching hot.
Bar Mei is awesome, very sexy. I think the white-haired Mei is Mei Prime. I'm calling it.
Also as an Aussie I will be saying 'Koalafied' from now on and that only Aussies are qualified to say 'Koalafied'!
Nene is a strong contender for the title of 'most adorable' I have to admit. The snaggle fang and the lisp is just so cute!
I hope the attempt to reach Rai will work out too, for Reina's sake... But it could easily turn into a trap for Ren and Aki, maybe Machi too.
speaking of Machi that end scene is intriguing! I'm betting its Ren's bed...
Literally the only thing I didn't like was the reference to Tropilcali in there. I tried that AVN once and hated it. Im still pretty certain that the MCs half sister, I think her name is Gloria or something, is a con artist trying to sell the Hotel when she doesn't actually own it.
I am definately certain that the Japanese woman that 'bought' the hotel could not have actually done so since the MC could not have signed the paperwork. She would own Gloria's portion of the Hotel at most.
Hahaha! I got to the end and there is no option to reject all the girls and live alone! I deliberately avoided relationships between any of the girls and the MC specifically for this reason! Theres no way to end the game if you don't have enough relationship points with at least one girl!
Maybe add in an ending for that? Even if its a bad ending? Or a Mila ending since she is the one you cant avoid...
Hi. I tried your AVN and found it was not to my liking. I didn't get far to be honest.
I found it to be too confusing. Worse it was too confusing very early on. By that I mean that I could not build any empathy with any of the characters because I was confused by the plot.
Its hard for me to care about a story or its plot when I don't have any empathy for the characters. I think you need to take a little more time introducing some of the characters before the plot begins to unfold.
For example: The MCs mother is taken away during the mysterious event during the introduction right? But why should I care when no time is taken to introduce her or explain her relationship to the MC? Is she kind? Is she strict? Is she hard working? I dont know!
Another example: Theres this girl introduced when the MC first sets off to school. I dont even know her name because I didn't care about her. She is clearly meant to be a love interest, apparently she and the MC have been intimate before. Yet the MC doesn't remember her and feels only the most base physical attraction to her.
So I say again, why should I care when I know almost nothing about the character? I mean I dont even remember her name!
Hmmmm an interesting perspective. Food for thought.
I guess it comes down to finding a balance between progress and meeting expectations.
I think unless an improvement in the code is necessary due to lack of support for the current version of the code, that perhaps one should simply leave well enough alone.
I guess one should seek a peak state and try to stay there.
I appreciate this discussion too. Not just interesting but important.
In my opinion there needs to be critics as well as supporters and no one should ever be immune to criticism.
I understand its not easy. I am saying we should always push for more. To do otherwise is to enable laziness and greed.
As much as many Devs are honest and hard working, there are also some that abuse the system and forgiving long dev times makes it easy for dishonest devs to milk their patrons.
Also practice makes perfect... therefore over time, as the Dev grows more experienced, their development times should be improving as should the quality of their art! As I said quality AND quantity!
Personally, I think Patreon is a very flawed system. Devs should only be paid when the Art is completed. Paying them per month just encourages people to take their time. They should be paid only when their customers are happy and they should receive a bonus if certain goals are met (such as delivering their AVN update before 6 months pass).
Going unpaid until they complete their project is also important. That way if they are lazy, they get nothing. If they work hard, they get to eat and pay their bills.
Personally I disagree with the notion that quality is paramount. One should never settle for second best after all.
Instead we should all be pushing every single Developer of every single game to improve themselves. To be better artists.
We should be asking for quality AND quantity. We should be pushing Developers to be faster AND to write better stories.
Yes we should recognize good work when we see it but then we should also ask for more!
Hi, I just DLed the V0.8 of the game from this page and when I loaded up my save game to play the new content I got a message saying that 0.7 was all the content currently available and that I needed to wait for 0.8...
Then it booted me out to the intro screen....
So is V0.8 out yet? if so why cant I play the new content? Do I have to start all over again?
What's happening? I'm so confused...
Yo! I wanted to say that I enjoyed this AVN. Very beautiful quality graphics and some lovely girls.
I like the story too, even if its a little mundane.
I do however have a few of questions:
1) Is this a Harem game or will the MC have to pick just one girl? I'd like to know beforehand so I don't ruin things. I don't mind if its not Harem since I like Mia a ton.
2) Where is the option to buy the latest content? I don't see it on Itch so I am guessing you only offer it on Patreon? I don't use Patreon, like ever, so you are really restricting my options here. At the moment I'll just wait for it to go public I guess.
3) What's your production schedule like? I only see the two public releases and adding up the numbers from that seems to indicate about 10 months passed between release 0.4.3 and release 0.5.
Not really a conclusive trend but that seems like a really long time to me, I don't think I would ever back you with a release rate that slow.
I know you stretched your time thin but you would have gotten even more complaints if any of the girls were missed.
Like I said I am happy with the attention Lynx and Kate got. In the end you did the right thing, you left me wanting more.
One thing I want to ask about though: At the end of Genex 1 and the start of Genex 2 you give a screen that summarizes all of the scores, affection scores with the girls etc. Would it be possible to use that screen to update us every so often? Say once every 3 or 4 releases?
Makes it easy to keep track of things. Call it a quality of life fix.
I finished my full Harem play too. Couple of extra scenes including Amanda and Jennaka getting a little more attention. I actually kinda liked Jennaka's one. She's a good girl. I like how protective she can be.
Well I certainly didn't hate it.
*** Spoilers Ahead for those that don't want them ***
The new content was, of course, too short. But I enjoyed what was there. I love Kate and Lynx so I very much enjoyed their scenes and even though I am less enamored with Lisha I do still like her and enjoyed seeing her start to soften up more, become more affectionate.
The new girl, Aurora, got just enough attention that I have come to the conclusion that I like her. I look forward to seeing her part of the story develop.
I thought the changes to Marco's body and even his personality to a lesser degree were a pleasant surprise.
I'm sure there will be time for it later but I was a little disappointed that Rei didn't get much attention, they basically just bumped into each other and promised to talk to each other more later. For me that was disappointing simply because Rei was my favorite from Part 1 and if it were up to me she would have been the first person I would have gone looking for.
I very much appreciate that some of the settings and options were up for a reset at the start, even for my imported game. It's nice to have the option to change my mind on some things.
I have yet to try my full Harem game though, this was my partial Harem game, so I don't know if it'll be exactly the same. Especially concerning how Amanda, Jennaka, Vellany or Hannah reacted.
I liked that the story seems to have shifted to a 'new' threat right away, the Hengetis and the Villains and their attacks. That seems to be the short-term story hook while Thread and Miraculous Man (I think thats right) loom in the distance as a future major threat.
Theres also the hint that something is controlling the Hengetis, driving them to attack, perhaps a Queen or something. A new Hengetis lady made a very brief appearance but I dont think that she is the Queen.
All in all, it's a good start. If you can keep up the flow by making sure the amount of time between content releases doesn't get too ridiculous (over 6 months) then I'll be satisfied.
I admit I am tempted to get Genex Love 2 for $20 USD.
$6-7 per Update isnt bad value for money and I do really wanna play it.
Waiting another week seems like such a long time and I have been looking forward to this a lot.
But on the other hand if I do it and then it turns out I hate it I'll be so angry at myself for wasting the extra money...
Not everyone likes or uses Patreon mate. I despise Patreon and will never use it.
My reasons are that Patreon enforces the ideologies of its staff on its users. I remember years ago they kicked some members off the platform because they were, supposedly, right wing supporters or some such. I think thats unfair because a payment platform shouldn't care about politics, the only things that should matter is the law and doing their jobs.
I also think the monthly payment structure is open to abuse and encourages laziness. I have heard of creators simply going dark and not telling their followers, happy to take their money until they realize whats going on and cancel their subs. Not unlike streaming services.
And if you time it right, produce some content and then go dark, after building an expectation that it'll be 6 months or more before the next content release then you can claim up to 6 months of payments for doing nothing before people start to cancel their subs. Sounds like a nice pay day dont you think?
As for the laziness issue, having a reliable source of income and license to take 6 months or more to create a product can easily be used to just drag the creation process out. Take your time. As long as you do produce enough to satisfy the minimum to keep your Subs your golden.
If you dont get paid until you pony up the goods, you are forced to produce the goods regularly and on time or you go very hungry!
