Good game! As others mentioned, the highlight for me was reading every character's story. It made me care about them, and I found myself restarting every to make them like their tattoo

Amazing! I was a bit shocked at first at the quality and level of polishment you made here. Reading that the you yourself has a part in the story makes sense given the feels and the vibe of the game, you can truly feel that this was made with the heart. Thank you for sharing this

1 It didn't loaded for me as well. Was somewhat hyped due to the font art style..

Good job! Loved the art and the premise of both using the lantern as a weapon AND as your win condition. Sometimes the ghosts move a bit fast and once it was crowded with them it became somewhat hard to find all the map pieces. Skill issue I guess XD Nonetheless, great game!

Thanks for playing! We tried our best to balance the game to make it feel not too easy, not too hard!

Good game! The art is great, but the game itself is indeed a bit short, but hey, congratulations on your first game! Adding more things to catch, different types of buildings, and more cats would be nice if you are looking forward on this one :)

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! We thought about adding some kind of throwing weapon.. Throwing the slipper would fit perfectly!

As others have mentioned, the music is superb. Loved the UI, the cars, and the aesthetic in general. Good job on your first game!

1 Found the concept really appealing, but I struggled with combat. However I feel there is great potential in here for sure!

Thanks for playing! I enjoyed yours as well, and as I said in my comment on your page, it is really nice to see other interpretations of the theme :)

Good game! Its nice to see how others interpreted the same theme that I used, so I can definitely see similarities between what you had made and the thought process of my team when we were developing! Great job

Thanks for playing! Indeed Hotline Miami was one of our inspirations :) Yours is quite nice as well!

Your art is incredible! The mining feels good and indeed there is potential in this game!

Good game :) solid puzzles! I specially enjoyed the artwork on this one

Really enjoyed the 2D art into a 3D world. Definitely wasn't expecting the game to have that many rpg elements in it. Nicely done!

Good job on your game! It looks and plays very well. The frog is so cute!

I liked how you set up the camera, on the edge of it, pretty unique.

I'll check out yours! Can you check mine as well? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972570

Quite impressive. From the atmosphere of the beginning, I was waiting for an horror game of some sort, but then I thought it was only an relaxing puzzle game... until I got caught XD so basically you nailed the theme. The graphics are beautiful and the atmosphere is indeed setled. Reading other comments I too think it would be nice to have checkpoints, and it seems that you'll be working on this after the jam, so definitely you'll come up with something very neat and polished at the end!

A fun game, thought it was interesting that was written in python, good job! Sometimes during the storm, I had lag issues and the controls were inverted. Nonetheless I like the use of light in the storm, and the loop is neat

I'll try yours, can you try mine as well? https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972570

The game is soo good. Your art is beautiful and it is indeed an very calm and relaxing experience. I just thought that some of the movements were a little cluncky (like when I had to float and then hit shift for the bubble), but nothing that made me not enjoy your game. It is great!!

If you or anyone else could give us a visit we would be very much appreciated https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972570

I'll try to  go over the games here as well. Thanks!

Played your game! Great job

Great work! Love the ragdoll mechanics, its always super fun to play games like this. After reaching out the summit of the bandits lair, I jumped out of it and was falling for eternity. Nonetheless, very fun, art is great and the music is catchy as well! Good game

Cool! Can you try mine? I'll rate yours :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972570

Omg you guys did a really good job with this. You can feel the stress rising up together with Patrick. Of all the games I'd played this jam with this game loop, yours was the most fun and addictive. My only complaint is that even though the cart was right beside the shelf, the game didn't understood that, so I had to keep leaving the shelf and move the cart around. This is just a minor comment and of course it didn't affected the fun of your game whatsoever. Great game guys!

testing yours! If you like to test ours, here it is: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972570

Nice game! Simple, yet super fun. I enjoyed the variety of attacks you came up with :) with the amount of bullets that I had onscreen, I think it would be helpful to have an cursor marker, because I lost mine several times hahaha Great game nonetheless.

Great Game! The art is absolutely astonishing, and the loop feels good. I wish you would have more time, because I wanted to see the storm - also, on day 3, I really liked how no enemies were around, being the calm before the storm :)

I have a few suggestions, but none of them are critics about your game whatsoever.  I feel like the character could move faster. Also, it would be nice if we could swing in other directions, and not just horizontally.

That being said, GREAT game!

Very unique! Simple and fun, although I suck at investigations XD

A cute game, but I was unsure what to do in the island. On my first run, I just entered the ship and the game ended. On a second one, I collected everything I encountered, i think it is time to move onto the next island I guess hahahaha needs a bit of polishing, but it was a fun experience!

I had a little bit of difficulty with the progression of the game.. Other than that, I liked how cute the art was, and I genuinely was scared when the first bear appeared XD the change in the music was really good as well.

Very good game. I loved your use of lights in this! I wish that there were some visual or sound feedback on hurting the enemies, as well as an enemy health bar or something like that.  Other than that, a very cool take on a tower defense game, mixing with those upgrades made an really nice experience!

The game was quite interesting. The low poly art is very good. Although it is simple, I managed to built my shelter and finish the game.  I just wished that the items to collect would have a little highlight (specially those two on the corners of the level), and that we could carry more than one piece at time. Besides that, a good game indeed!

As others mentioned, I too struggled with the game progression. But as well as other mentioned, the art style is phenomenal. Very stunning. With more polish, it will be a really good game

i have only one critics about your game: I don't want to run away from the cats! Hahahaha Just kidding. The game was adorable, I love your art, the sprites and your pixel art style. The sounds were cute as well, I just felt like the cats were so fast! Great game!

Astonishing. I am very impressed to think that was made in a week! I loved pretty much every aspect of your game: the art, atmosphere and the voicelines as well. The tutorial was a huge plus! Really great game.

The idea is unique and the art is very beautiful, specially the player animation! About the gameplay, when I placed the dog on the portal, its sprite was increasingly bigger! I don't know it that was intentional, but eventually it covered the portal. I gave a few tries and got around that bug. Nonetheless, good game!

The game is very unpolished art and soundwise, but it is impressive that you put out such smooth gameplay loop and movement settings in just 5 hours! I was also impressed by the amount of upgrades you could choose between cycles.
