Very cool concept, super unique, I like it a lot!
I would really like to know how you went about generating the world if it is the same for each player, is it just tons of randomization/procedural generation or is there something more complicated going on "under the hood" so to speak when you went about generating the world?
In any case though super cool! :)

Everything about the visuals and the audio I absolutely love, you guys did an absolutely incredible job at this! I will say that the gameplay itself is a bit on the odd side, as its a bit painful to continuously die and have to replace/gather the blocks over again, along with a few moments of difficult visual clarity. These can be fixed pretty easily though as this was a short jam, and the game itself is so unbelievably polished regardless. Very well done!

I love burning fossil fuels almost as much as I love my shovel

This is such a charming, simple, and fun game. I really enjoyed messing around in it, and the music/art is just the cherry on top. Well done!

9/10, no designated pinky getting jiggy button :(

Thank you for hosting the jam! Its been very fun to participate :)

Oh my god thats the funniest thing I've seen done in the game lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and I agree the theme could've been developed better lol

I also wanna mention something for anyone who reads through these comments, the overclocker has a ton of hidden stuff to it and its extremely easy to abuse. If you figure out some of the easy ways to abuse it the game becomes wayyyy easier lol

Thanks! The 2nd and 3rd buildings require you to click another building to attach it after placing it, since they act as like a buff. I was short for time on the tutorial considering 2 finals so I couldn't explain it very well, but the basic rundown of them is the overclocker when attached to another building makes it considerably faster at a cost of less HP. The cooler is a basic healer, when attached providing 1 HP per second. Thank you for the feedback though, I really appreciate it!

For 5 hours you did really damn well, especially on the visuals.

The style and music of this game are incredible, you did an extremely good job at it! The gameplay is super unique too, if this were turned into a full release I'd buy it 100%. My only critique is that sometimes when looping around with the aberration (even though there's a blinking effect when you're getting close to running out of space lol) it would be very helpful to have another bar above the health bar which shows how much aberration you have left. It would make it easier for the player to gauge how large of an area they can cover. Other than that, this game is pretty incredible. Very good job, I hope this places very highly and gets the recognition it deserves!

The presentation and style of this game is quite good, my only critique is that sometimes it feels like the background and platforms mesh together considering they're the same colors, but thats probably just a me thing lol. Very fun and cool idea, well done!

I played basketball with my rat and it got stuck in the box, just like real life!

I should probably put it in a more obvious spot and put some more stuff around it to make it pop out lol.

Did you see the arcade machine that's next to the pollution generator? Cause that allows you to upgrade yourself and your gun haha!

Very cool idea, love the concept and the execution. Makes my brain fry tho lol

Very nice take on chess! I like it quite a lot, could be a fun game to port for mobile or handheld devices. Well done!

Nice and clever puzzle game, well done!

This game is really great in a lot of aspects, but unfortunately the RNG is what makes this game near impossible for me to beat. No matter what I did I'd keep getting jump king with spicy floor or jump king with sticky floor and the game became unreasonably difficult. The game just needs better balancing, like if I was given recoil mode I couldn't beat any of the levels given, but when I'm given the normal mode the game becomes a cake-walk. Overall, the game is really awesome in almost every regard, just balance the levels and modes to ensure you don't have people raging haha. Other than that though, well done!

This game is a very good basic platformer, it could use some fine tuning in the controls and some bug fixes. (i.e. sometimes the wall jump wont trigger, the character flips randomly occasionally, the jumps can be inconsistent or floaty)  Although I couldn't beat it, it was still enjoyable. Well done!

Conceptually and artistically this game is top-notch, well made 3D models, textures, and audio. The levels themselves are so cool, well done! The controls are my only gripe with this game, as it seems you can drift on a dime with no intent to actually drift? (Not pressing any buttons other than A or D causes it to drift, using shift/space does as well, at least for me) It caused me to wipe out at every turn, even with light taps of the keys. Overall, the game is great and has a lot of potential, all it needs is some fine tuning. Well done!

Simple concept, well executed, pretty fun, just wish it had some more to it. I.e. other building concepts. Since its a platformer, something like a spring or a moving platform or a launch pad, etc. could be good additions.

Its a great base for a mario-kart like game, I wish there were more things to the game gameplay wise. Adding in some powerups or drifting or some other mechanics could make this game a lot more fun. Nevertheless, this game is great. Well done!

amogus :)

I absolutely adore this concept, its such a unique and original one! I will say, the only critique of mine is the jump, its a bit cumbersome. But thats an easy fix for this game, I love it. Well done!

Conceptually this game is pretty cool, love the ideas at play here. My only critique is how the acceleration of the player sometimes makes platforming more difficult than it seems, maybe giving more leeway to spike segments or jumps could be an easy fix. Overall, great job! The game is wonderful.

Love the concepts behind this game, the different arcade games are very charming as well. I just wish it were a bit easier to play! Maybe I'm just a bad gamer haha. Well done!

Everything about this game is really funny, love the style to it! Well done!

Feel free to add to this topic with your critiques of the game! Thank you!

Great game! Concept is very interesting, the levels themselves are well-planned out. The only critique is this game should have something else to bolster the players movement, i.e. a powerup or a huge area being cut, etc.. Overall though, this game is great! Well done!

This is a great concept, and its executed very well! I think the other comments sum up the only issue pretty well, adding some sort of powerup or concept to the break to spice it up a bit could make this game better than it already is. Well done!

Yup! Its up!
