small tip for a gamejam, make everything available as fast as you can. I liked the animals where you had to hold instead of clicking but they came a bit far into the levels. If youd ever join a bigger game jam a lot of people try to play as many games as possible and wont always complete it. Show off what you made :)
The concept is fun but atm I dont feel like its hard to beat, would be nice if you needed to manage your fuel a bit more and when you get close to orbit from another planet you swing around it of some sorts. I went in a straight line and made the goal with 170 days left. The concept itself is cool tho so curious what you make of it :)
Like the game and the enemies behaving depending on how big you are is something I havent seen! In your comments you say not to use the scale up and down buttons, I did tried this and it also makes a fun loop since its harder to dodge the shooting monsters when you are big et. Great execution and concept!
Love the artstyle and the use of the concept! Only thing that had me think was in level 2 you had to change the player to finish the level, but you also added those trains wich I couldnt move. I get that this is for level design but it wasnt super clear wich toys I could and couldnt change, maybe just a white outline on hover wouldve helped?
Its an amazing game tho and the art, music all fit the theme and imagination of a child! you made something amazing!
An undo button instead of full reset would be nice. The game could use some music too imo, I get that you place the notes but it would be a nice adition that you create a full song and that it sorts of upgrade everytime you managed to place a block correctly.
Game itself is great tho and impresive that you made it in 4 days, good job!
Really good game and controls are very smooth. The upgrade popups at the start were a bit overwelming I shot 1 enemy and instant popup. I would drop them instead of giving a choice maybe cus I got overpowered by jusy going all in on fire rate and damage. The game itself feels like a full arcade game, wel done!
