i love the more casual nature of the writing like not trying to be too serious with the narrator 4th wall breaks and such. makes for a relaxing read.

Here's my delema; as a gender diverse person, i wouldnt really know which one to choose. if i pick the one accurate to my body, its too feminine presenting to feel like me, and if i pick the more masculine one, i feel like its totally innaccurate to my body. The 3rd option is most abiguous body wise, but the vibes are still innacurate to me. Do i pick what fits my feelings or what fits my appearance? Do i get scared and just pick the abiguous one?
It's not like im not used to this kind of delema in games where you have an appearance, but maybe the body selection and hair selection could be seperate, or the outfits could leave more to the imagination than the current ones, being looser or something. I would love it if there was a female option with short hair but thatss wishful thinking perhaps.
Either way ur doing a good job :D
my problem is that the fight scene feels slow awkward and unsatisfying. not so much the fact that mc loses, but how they lose. also lunging at the swordsman and lunging at the random guy go down the same story path which makes no sense for the swordsman since it says "he has no weapon, he must be the easiest option right?" lol.
i think ur theory is pretty on point, u got the most lore heavy and probably the definitive canon ending (if the author decides there is one). its very interesting how the skin walker mentions warmth, it would make sense for it to be setting up a chain of food, like the SCP. pretending to be a human, to lure more humans, like a cycle. it is very creepy. and interesting how the skin walker works. because it clearly didnt take Asters actual skin, as his body was still there, and it also most likely wouldnt have been able to kill a whole deer just for that moment. so maybe its a bit like that old minecraft mod, where once you kill a mob, you can transform into it whenever.
