you're very welcome, and again thank you so much for this valuable info! That's super weird! logically the game should also fade back in after it fades out, I checked the events and everything. But I might have a couple theorizes as to why this might be happening... hopefully i can fix it. It might have somethin to do with multiple background processes clashing and canceling each other out.
And when you said it "froze" on the fight screen and during the Hide n' Pounce minigame. Did it go black? or was the screen just not moving? or did both happen?
I also have a few questions to ask if ya got time?
1. Do you think you could share screenshots of the areas where they tend to happen?
2. Could you also describe the exact moments when the screen freezes happened. Like, did it go black after you selected the save option? or after you confirmed saving a file?
And with the old chymera, did it happen when you selected "Nap time!"?, after the scene with the three Zzz emotes, or after the message stating your defense rose?
3. Do you think you can try to replicate these bugs?
This might help me get an idea of what could be the cause, since it doesn't occur for me for some reason? Probably because the PC I'm using has high RAM.

Sorry you're dealing with all these issues, when I playtested it, none of these issues occurred. I wonder if it's maybe an fps issue or separate events clashing?
The only suggestion I can think of to probably fixing this bug during gameplay, would be If you can remember a map's layout and go to another map(or open the menu, scroll down, and use the "Return" function) This may fix the screen from being blacked out.
But again This shouldn't be happening. I'll try and see what could be the cause of this, I'm so so sorry for all the issues you've ran into! x.x
For the timed circle attack, yup! you're supposed to stop the circle as small as you can get it! Sorry if it wasn't clear I'll try to better communicate those next time!
If you find yourself stuck, the pre-saved files take place after each objective. (To save you have to scroll down in the menu, I know it's dumb, and ill try to rearrange the menu so the "save" option is visible!)

I enjoyed alot when i first played it, but i did encounter 1 issue, which wasn't actually playing the game. I notice I was unable to left-click with my ouse after getting of the game and I don't know why that happened, i had to download Cyberpower mouse input thingy to fix the problem, I us a CyberPower PC, so maybe that had somethin to do with it. ><
But still great game, im even more excited to see multiplayer become available!
Good game! Its really spooky, and I love the puzzle. I did get lost at the part where the lights fall and go out, maybe the light of the flashlight could be a little more brighter so I could see it, but that might just be me, and my PC being darker. but overall excellent experience!
