If you have the Java Runtime Environment installed (the same thing you'd need for games like classic Minecraft), you should be able to just double-click on the .jar file to run it.  Alternately, from the command line, 'java -jar first-hero-20240126a.jar'

If you don't have the JRE, you can install it from https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

The dialogue in this is just fantastic

This is gorgeous!! Even as a first public demo, the modeling and animations are cute, the environment is pretty and fun to explore, and the sound design is outstanding.
