I believe it was made with godot engine.

Maybe FAKE-08 would work? Just a guess, since on ARM platforms that works much better and they have a version for retroarch you can download separately.

There is P8 Player on the Google Play store, it's not official, but it works a good portion of the pico-8 library. Also, you could try retroarch with Retro8, although Retro8 doesn't play as much.

Very cool!

Why is this under the TIC-80 tag? Its not a TIC-80 game. Its a unity-based game.

I could answer that. Tic80 has a web export for the games. All you do is upload the html5 version. I did it with one of my games made with copper cube. It's actually pretty easy to do. Let me know if you have further questions.

Yeah, not sure what's stalling the development of the mobile version.

I donated to the project but the development is incredibly slow.

Not appropriate

Awesome game! Really cute! I'm recommending it to others!

Hi nesbox, do you happen to know why Google play may have removed tic80? I know that originally they had it.

Nice work! I'm giving this add-on a shot!

It's free. The pro version just has a few extra features and helps out the developer

Cool!

I think you don't make sense. Pico cad was original free, it was changed and now it is paid. He can charge for it. I was just saying it's not very cool to make a change like that and not allow old versions to be downloaded. Simple.

Just a suggestion. Instead of putting multiple file downloads, just zip up the installer from the original game and upload that. It's much easier for others to download that way. Let me know if you need help with this. I'll try to explain the steps the best I can.

This was a quake 3 bug due to a gamma issue.  Not sure how its fixed on Windows but on Linux, Lutris has a restore gamma option. Look it up on Google.

Download the itch app. You can install it directly from that for your

operating system of choice.

Try it on wine or PlayOnLinux. It might work on that.

Yes, I'm also wondering the same thing. Whats with the bait and switch?

There is a linux ARM64 version. Can't imagine it would be too hard to do. Then again, I'm not fluent with the STK engine..

The game looks like it was made in Game Boy Studio. For the resolution, it was the resolution of  the original game boy and limited to it's 4 color palette.

There is the limited educational version that you can use freely on the web for learning purposes. I bought the main editor since its a fair price and not going to break the bank. Either way, its no big deal.

Really neat! Looks and feels just like a commercial game from back in the day on the NES!

I don't believe that was the motive behind the game currently. But I could be wrong. I would look at some of the options in the menu or maybe runtime flags used for resolution.

Looks very good! However, my computer can't run it very good. Probably not powerful enough to run it at higher framerates. I gave Godot a shot earlier, I'll have to start trying to learn more about the engine at some point.

I agree, the cover looks like the original Dreamcast game cover designs.

The first time played, that enemy popped up and scared the crap out of me,lol!

Also the camera views remind me a bit of resident evil from playstation.

I believe also I read something about helper functions being used in C but it is a bit more advanced than Lua, the programming language used in PICO-8.

I think it was reprogrammed in the C language. I don't believe it was possible to port PICO-8 to the GBA itself. Not

enough power considering its ARM7TDMI cpu.

Cool! Very Zelda-ish!

Awesome!

You can play it if you install linux. Look up how to install linux on chromebooks. There are two options. One is crouton, which requires developer mode. The other is crostini which is in you settings under 'Linux Beta', let me know if you need help.

I think there is a way to create a server in the game. I did it before, but to be honest, I actually never played against anyone in-game.

Yes, very true. It looks like the creator gave up on it.

The linux build is broken I believe. Try using the windows build on wine. I was able to run it on that.

Very cool game. A good take on a completely free and open Sonic the Hedgehog game!

Pretty cool demo! I'm impressed!

You can actually run the windows version on Linux. Just install wine and the itch.io app. Then from itch.io app click on install and choose windows version. You can run it afterwards. Let me know if you still have trouble. I will try to help. Unfortunately, the Linux version might be a broken build.

Yes, I noticed that too. I think its probably a bug in the Linux version I gather cause the Windows version runs

fine. You try wine or PlayOnLinux and see if that works. Edit: I found out wine/playonlinux gets around this. Try it out.
