I managed to get out of the starting house, and then I could play more smoothly. I think it is the lighting. Also the map light is too contrasted, making it too dark to see anything. I managed to kill the creepy think though xD Glad I got to play it!

Okay, Nice! I put some graphics settings in the options menu and that does help alot with the stuttering. I cant upload any changes until the Jam ends though. Apparently the game is ending a bit early. like right after the first couple of wood people. There is supposed to be waves, and other clues to find. As well 2 alternative endings you can choose. But im glad you did get to play though. I appreciate it bub :)

I'm sorry it's too blurry and stuttering for me to play. Is there a way to lower the graphics? I couldnt find the option.

ohh shoot. Good idea! I'm making some fixes tomorrow. I'll add that option and let you know when it's fixed. Sorry about that.

Great friggin job! One of my favorite things is the answering machine, a little extra bit of story that isnt linked to the main quest. Considering the time alotted, the world seems nice and cozy. The games story and atmosphere is great. however the night portions of the game felt a little empty lacking an objective other than killing the "Woed peopel." I ran into several bugs throughout the game that prevented me from finishing. Maybe more time spent playtesting and fixing bugs. Also, definitely have a prompt for the controls, its nice having the option to see it in the menu, but to be able to have a little float on your screen saying "tab for flashlight" would be nice. Overall, good job!

Thanks for giving it a run through!! I'm adding a few things tomorrow. Prompts will be apart of it. What stopped you from finishing? One of the clues?

The systems in the game are pretty cool, the graphics are nice, but the animation is really buggy, my animations just stopped in the middle of the game for no reason at all, and I was in the default pose for the rest of the gameplay. Also it is waaaay too dark at night, I can't see a thing and it took me like a minute just to get out of that room because I couldn't see the doorway. Anyway overall it was pretty cool, good job :)

First off; Huge thank you for checking it out and letting me know what you think about it.

Second; That's wierd as frik, but I think I might know what's going on with the animation stopping, however, I won't be able to look into it until tomorrow.

Third; I really wanted to incentivise the use of the flashlight. But now that you mention it, I didn't add anything for the player to be notified that there was a flashlight to begin with... woops! Haha, I'll add that when I'm tweaking it tomorrow.

Thanks a ton for playing.! I'm glad you liked it :)

Thanks for the reply, now I know there's a flashlight I feel kinda dumb but yeah, maybe you could add like a notification in the top corner that says 'press F for flashlight' or something like that, and as for the animations, well I have no clue why its happening but when it gets fixed let me know and I'll give it another go :D
