That's a very interesting mechanic that makes you use both instruments, All the elements nicely fit each other: cats that hit baloons, cats that need to be hit themselves and without long reload this mechanic could be senseless.The only thing that makes it feel more clunky is cats sliding, which makes it hard to calculate traectory. May be some of the upgrades fixes it but i could figure it out. Overall very nice!

Really love the concept of this game, I love how you have to control the cats with a laser, while I was playing it I thought to myself "Damn I should have done that!" haha. Incredibly polished for how short the game is and soo much detail on the end-level screen. Fantastic! Great work!
the UI alone looked like quite a feat, well done!
Also, I played without sound at first and I was terrible… then I put headphones on and I instantly understood the game 1000% better. A testament to your sound design :)

Great concept! I would make all the game in pixel art, or replace the cat and balloons to match with environment to make better feeling of the game!

Game jammers rarely have time to implement all the features they want.. so it's quite amazing that my only gripe with this entry is that it almost has too many features.

Thanks for playing! We tried to make it so repeat playthroughs with the roguelite elements so would be encouraged to let the game's systems open up once players got comfortable controlling cats haha i'm sure there's stuff to be discovered still

The concept of the game is really cool, the visual and sound effects are satisfying too! Like another player mentioned, I just ended up shooting all the balloons XD

Cool little game, definetly the most polished so far. Couldnt quite get the hang of all the mechanics though, ended up shooting all the baloons to clear stages.
10/10 would ruin cats birthday party again

There are definitely targets that require you to use the cats, so the intention was to encourage players to experiment with the cats earlier on before relying on the rifle so it would feel more natural to juggle the two over time. I'm sure you'll have more fun and get a higher score if you use both cats and guns ;) and Cats birthday party LOL
