I don't usually like horror games so I hesitated to download this one, luckily there were no jumpscares hahaha. It is understood that due to time there are several things to improve, I couldn't read the notes and I never knew how to kill the biggest enemy, but I liked that you could collect things and gain skills with that. Maybe with more time you could exploit that last feature and do something similar to what the game CONTROL does, in which by collecting certain items you have quite strange abilities but they help you in the gameplay.

I was looking into abilities like time slowing down temporarily and stuff but felt that it was a bit much
Now that I think about it, telekinesis and time stops and stuff like control might actually fit the schizophrenic vibe more

This would certainly benefit from a longer timeframe. Three days seems very short for a project that seems pretty ambitious. Currently my biggest gripe is that the game lacks feedback. In case of the big slow guys, I didn't know if my shots actually did anything to them. Similarly- there was no instant feedback on getting hit.

From the other hand- the animations and sound worked nicely!

My advice is- for projects of bigger scope try longer jams- I can see this game getting really nice in the course of two week, or a month long jam! 

One more thing- unity has the option to make a web launched games. Those are played way more in jams like this!

Yeah I was building the web game when the deadline came... Unity took 45 minutes or something for it so I couldn't get it up in time

And yes I don't usually participate in a lot of jams so I completely lost track of what's a normal scope for a game to be made in just 3 days, but now I've learnt my lesson.

Gotta say im not a big fan of horror games but this one was acutally decent. I really enjoyed the models and enemies. The audio was great aswell. A cool game

Great modelling and audio. I really like the sound of heartbeat replacing a visual hub representing low health. The end game animation was perfectly done. The big guy is a bit too tanky and without on hit feedback. I didn't know the big guy not dying because he didn't take hit or just need more shooting.

The graphics were great. It was really scary seeing the enemies slowly multiply and surround you. I also liked the spooky mood.

It was a little bit buggy; enemies would clip through walls and I couldn't read half the notes for some reason, but other than that I do think that this is a good concept for a horror game.

Very good graphics and sounds i think for just 3 days! Very good job at that. I didn't understand your interpretation of the theme. The gameplay could have been a little scarier with faster enemies, much darker enviroment and horrifying sounds. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback! I am still developing the game so I'd appreciate a bit more elucidation on "horrifying sounds"; do you mean ambience, enemy sounds, or something else?
Already working on more enemy types and making the game in general much darker though, I was worried it was going to be too dark for people to see anything but clearly that was for nothing.

What i mean by horrifying sounds are: some sort of screaming from the enemies, and some ambiance. The horror in horror games comes 70% from sound. I also think you should decrease how many enemies there are. One fast, soundmaking enemy coming from nowhere would be pretty scary.

I was thinking when the enemy is spawned in he screams hello friend in a psychotic way, a constant scream would be a bit annoying wouldn't it?

absolutely, constant screaming would for sure ruin the experience. it might not even need to scream or speak, footsteps coming quickly at you is scary too.

I downloaded wrong version of the game, you should download { C R A Z Y }_JamSubmission.zip. Ok, do game actually scared me so that's good but I couldn't find out how to finish it.

Great idea and graphics. For some reason I couldn't pick up some notes. I think that this game needs some polish, but with enough time this game would be amazing. That is a quite big project for 3 days.

Yeah if you see the time I uploaded the build you can tell I was still doing bug fixes when the deadline hit ;-;
The notes have randomly stopped working every few builds and I can't for the life of me figure out why

I do definitely intend on adding a LOT more content, this still isn't near what I envisioned. Thank you for your feedback though :)) (I loved your game btw)

Impressive graphics! The big ones are really tough, when they come closer I freak out. When I turn back suddenly, A man was attacking me and it surely game me a jumpscare. Good game! Cheers!

as a horror game its not even half bad. although i dont really think it fits the theme of the jam. the graphics are good, gun felt as though it doesnt hit the enemy even though they died. i would suggest making the environment a tiny bit darker. overall not bad good work

Yeah i really didn't know how to both add collection and high scores so i decided to make collection more of a helpful thing than the centre of attention (you have to run around to collect abilities such as gun, speed increase, flashlight, throwing knives, etc.). i added collectible notes too but for some reason the build i managed to get uploaded on time was a tad buggy and the last I checked it wasn't really working on my PC :(
I made the environment brighter because i was afraid the player wouldn't be able to see anything, guess I went overboard lol. I'll definitely take your feedback and improve upon the for the update though, thanks for checking out my game :)

Interesting game. I'm not sure this really fits as a highscore game, but it is cool as purely a horror game. The atmosphere is weird and scary. Unfortunately there are way too many enemies. Especially with how much health the big ones have. Another thing is that it's very important to give the player some sort of feedback when they shoot enemies. Otherwise they won't know if their bullets are even doing anything. Besides that the game is pretty spooky and I really like the ending Lol. Good work!

I thought kill as many as you can was the most basic high score game ever and I was worried the game was gonna get lost in the mix; here people are telling me that they don't see how it fits 😭😭😭
By feedback for the gun do you mean recoil, along with the muzzle flash and shooting sfx? Or do you mean a hit particle on the enemies?
The big one was supposed to be easier to kill with the throwing knife but I scoped too big for the time limit and the build couldn't get uploaded on time

Ah, that makes sense with the throwing knife. By feedback I'm talking about some sort of hit particle or something on the enemies as right now I can't tell if I've hit them or not.

I was considering a hit particle but I thought I could avoid that and just say that since this is delusions there is no blood
I guess practically the story is impeding the gameplay experience
