Message from the artist
An attempt to create a musical track, which the resulting file can be both played forward and backwards and still sound the same. World style track with some synth/tron instruments and a guitar solo in the middle.

They key to this being able to work is to not only copy and reverse in the macro layer, but also in the micro layer of the single instruments: The beat itself is only a quarter note in length, then it's reverse was added behind it; The HiHat element is a half-note in length, then with it's reverse added behind it; The Synth Bass is a whole bar, then it's reverse added behind, and so on.

Created with Logic Pro X and the following plugins: Kontakt 7, Massive, Omnisphere, Guitar Rig 6, FF Pro-Q, FF Pro-L.

Difficulty

C (Super Challenge)

Enjoyable track. Didn't quite feel like it fit the challenge but it's a great track.

The beat is so nice. The guitar caught me off guard, but all in all I enjoyed this track a lot!

Really unique idea for the C challenge. Playing the notes forward and reverse on themselves kinda lessens the obviousness that’s it’s in reverse and in theory makes it the same in reverse, great job. I feel like the quality of the mix couldve been a little better but not judging on that too much since it could’ve been an artist decision. Again, great job with the idea and execution!

I think the guitar kind of takes a bit away from the rest of the track, but otherwise it's a really solid entry.

Good work.

Amazing work! I think the drums and synth bass are cool and they give a very nice flow all throughout the song. And a nice guitar part in the middle. This was a nice listen!

love the Tomorrow Never Knows-style guitar solo through the turnaround!

The drums were my favorite part the felt very textile and I liked that.

I thought the guitar felt a little out of place like it didn't fit in with the rest of the instruments but I enjoyed it's melody.

I especially like the pad that was used on either end of the guitar part it reminded me of desert themes and the drums accentuated it.

great work too going for the super challenge!
