Kinda fun, could do with more vision. Maybe consider playing with the camera zoom.

Great game, the guns felt really satisfying to use since there was a lot of feedback to them and the enemies reacted to them a lot. The gun swap mechanic was really fun and kept the gameplay fresh. I get that you're going for a minimalist UI design but maybe a subtle indicator for when the guns were gonna change would be nice.
the current version has an ammo counter but I still need to fix some stuff before it's release

Well, that was fun. It feels a bit awkward that you can't keep aiming the gun while the shot is on cooldown. Makes holding down the fire button with the shotgun feel rather unpleasant. Speaking of the shotgun, it hits like wet tissue now; it's the gun I'm least happy to see. Also sine wave projectiles are a crime and you should feel bad for using them >:( /s. Solid work!
I'll make the guns smoother to hold, and I'm trying to figure out how to balance the shotgun to keep it feeling powerful while still being balanced (currently working with fire rate and bullet spread). The sine wave projectiles felt necessary to stop the player from just running around in circles around the horde of orcs, with strait projectiles playtesters (family & close friends) were still easily running in circles, while multiple fireballs lagged the game a good amount, and larger projectiles weren't looking pleasing at all (quite the pickle!). And thank you for the compliment!
Replayed it now that the jam's done, and I have no complaints anymore! Everything feels quite satisfying now. The improvement on the homing lasers feels especially good, absolutely worth the trouble you went through. Great work!
