This game looks and sounds great and plays well.
I will say that the tone of the story seemed a bit jarring, and the depictions of the characters, as well as references to mental health issues and abuse, didn't really work for me.
Managed to finish this game ! The art is charming , the concept is good, the puddles and slippy controls where actually a plus for me , it was goofy and in theme of the game. I would have just liked a bit more feedback in the gameplay but that's nitpicking.

Thanks! Puddles are created to disorient you, but they also randomize all the shelves around you, so you can find items that you couldn't find before.
Great visuals and funny environment. I liked! Just the controls where a little slippery.
I have a but to report: Some times i slipped and there was no puddle around.

Silly game. It could use some more diverse gameplay. Incorporating the expiration date, losing items if you slip, things like that =D
Yep, all these things were in our plans, but apparently we just don't have enough time to add all the planned content to the game.

That poor, whipped fella. Good game though! I really like the humor designed into it. Matching up the right type of items gets to be a pain in the ass towards the end, but at least you give the player plenty of time to find them. The art style and music definitely work together. I didn't notice any serious bugs, but I was able to walk off the map which kinda ruined the atmosphere. Otherwise nice work!

You are lucky because, in the end, you might find yourself in a situation where you don't have enough money to buy an item. In this case, finding the cheapest third-level item is a real pain in the ass.
We don't have enough time to tech our level generator to generate walls.

I really enjoyed this game :) I thought it was well-balanced mechanically. I felt like there could have been more of a rewarding moment when completing each level. I felt like it simulating the action of shopping in a supermarket very well. Unfortunately, my sprite got stuck between two shelves on the 6th level. But I still enjoyed it :)
