Oh wow, this is actually really cool. Love the retro, 8bit styles of the game. Really good use of the limitation, using coins as your life and weapons. At the moment, there is probably a way to gain more coin, but it not very apparent right now, so I have to be very conservatively with spamming coin :( Although, I think this really have potential, maybe consider for a mobile port :D
The art on this game was magnificent , the music was pretty chill and bumping, the controls were really nice and the gameplay was awesome! The concept of using a piggy bank as the character and utilizing the only coins it has was a pretty unique concept I must say. A few things I noticed though were the little red balls the dragons drop do no damage what so ever nor does it make me lose any coins. Also, if you could maximize the browser screen more so I can be able to see the game, that would be nice. Overall, this game was really nice and quite unique!
I really like this game, probably my favorite I've played this jam! The graphics are nice, the music is good (although the loop is a little short), and the gameplay has a pretty solid concept. Your health and ammo being one shared resource is neat, and the basic gameplay of launching coins up and recollecting them is both intuitive and fun. I just wish there was more of a purpose-- it could be anything, trying to reach the end of the level, or just going for highscores. As it is right now, it feels kinda aimless. Oh, and minor nitpick, but when you scale up pixel art, try to do it at 200%, 300%, or some other multiple of 100. If you do, as an example, 150%, half the pixels will be regular size, and half will be 200% scale, which can be kinda jarring. I'm only bringing this up because the game is really good, and I think the little improvements like that could be a big help, I think!
Thank you for you appreciate and suggestion! I'm still update the game by far, my idea making a kind of climbing-tower game, you can buy update use your coin(life). I was already design 7 type of enemys and one level, the game goal is to beat the level and meet the final boss. I don't know how to fix the pixel-perfect scale problem on the web edition, on my desktop edition it is *1/*2/*3 or full screen scale. I don't know how to achieve this in the itch internal game browser(seems it's fix size) so maybe I'll optimize for the web edition manually.
Love it! This was so much fun- I really liked the way there were limited coins and you are encouraged to recycling them. It kind of teaches you not to waste money :P
I loved the concept of using coins (the pig's life) to kill the ennemies.
A really simple game, simple mechanics, but a nice design and a lot of fun!!!
Interesting concept, I really like the idea of having limited ammo where you have to re-collect coins to keep playing. Art looks nice and I feel like this game could be expanded upon with more enemy types, a high score function (distance or demons killed, maybe even total coins) and some sort of death screen. Overall fun game!
