This was a GREAT game, i loved the mechanic, how it looked, the characters etc

I will be really surprised if it doesn't win

Developer

Thank you so much :) im glad you liked it!

The concept is very interesting overall. I also liked how all of the opponents you faced have different card designs as well! I guess one addition that could make the game feel better is to have a turn limit to add in more strategy and improve difficulty. Nevertheless, good job!

That's coming in the next update. Thanks for playing!

Actually Great Beautiful artwork, mechanics could use some help 6.5/10

duck said stairs instead of stares lol.

the table for choosing characters is just a solid pinkish color with and the entire world is a boring white void

gameplay is block jumpers and then kill with forwards, all of them could be solved like that.

in the description it said you could use three cards in one turn, but in the game I could only use two.

Stamina was not shown well it was a bar above the cards but without any number to show, cause black on gray isn't that instantly visible.

When the camera moves in 3d at the beginning of the battle is cool but is way too fast to properly admire the artwork.

The game doesn't end when the enemy cards go all the way to my side like I thought, the game just doesn't end

and you can just put blockers everywhere the enemies would go and that would win every time.

plus infinite turns makes it soooooo easy to beat.

Like the end card suggests the game was definitely hella overscoped.

respect for going big, but not on a 3 day jam my guy.

I know he said stairs, that was the joke lol.

the gameplay is pretty simple, yeah. what can ya do with 72 hours tho.

I dont think it says how much stamina you have in the description.

yeah, if i had more time i would have gotten actual art for the bar.

I'll slow it down a bit.

I'll make the battle restart when cards get across your board.

Turn limiters were planned. But I forgot until the last minute.

I know it was overscoped, but I wanted a good game.

Go big or go home, even on 3 day jams. Limiting yourself is stunting your game dev growth.

There's quite a lot here for a gamejam game! I think it would benefit from a limited turn count though, as the puzzles are very easy as it is. I think the final boss felt more like what the baseline puzzle difficulty should've been at the beginning. Interesting concept overall though, and nice use of 3D for the battle intros

Thanks :) I was going to add a limited turn count actually, but I wanted this to be as beginner friendly as possible. A future update will entail a turn limiter and new mechanics. Thanks again for playing :)

I like the puzzle concept, but I would have liked to be able to retry a single puzzle without going back to the start of the stage.

Developer

I would have liked that too, but it was already a tight crunch and I didnt have time to add that. It'll be in an update if I ever work on this again. Thanks for playing!
