I tried to get all upgrades (I accidentally bought a second upgrade of the drill instead of the body so I don't know what that one does) very cool! Simple concept but well designed. I like your UI! The sound the little drill makes it satisfying. I do wish the drill moved faster when above ground or moving through tunnels it's already dug, just because the further I went down the slower the game became which is why I ultimately stopped playing. Otherwise I would have continued as I very much like seeing how much money I can accumulate :D Great job!
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the game, There will be speed upgrades once I get to update the game I'm just waiting for the Game Jam to end. The second drill upgrade allows you to drill the Sapphire (dark blue ore) and Ruby (dark red ore) ores which you can't with just the second level of the drill you need the third. I might be adding elevators cause the depth will become much bigger later on. Thank you for playing and leaving a comment it means a lot to me!
Cool game. Reminds me of a game called Motherload I used to play as a kid!

It's a lovely, fun game. The controls are a bit hard to get used to but worth the hassle.
Pro tip: buy a fuel upgrade at the start

Glad you enjoyed the game. I wanted to add a bunch more stuff but I knew that if I started I wouldn't stop. I'm hoping to continue working on the game after the jam is over!
Mining games are always fun, I think there is too much fuel at the start, there is no challenge, and I think the garage and the shop can be merged into one building, but yeah its a fun game.
I feared that the game would be too hard if I didn't give more fuel at the beginning. The reason the shop and garage are so far apart is when you have little fuel left you need to choose to go to the shop or to the garage you might not be able to go to both.

I'd probably never think about developing a mining game from this limitation. It just didn't come to mind, which makes this very interesting to me. Thinking about it, I guess all idle games are really just a game where you're stuck in a loop of building your economy until you reach a point where you can't even count the zeroes. Cool stuff! I loved the idea of making sure that there is enough gas to get back up, get to the shop, and buy more stuff. It's simple and fun for sure.
